Anyone think the sassy sax at the end sounds like "Come as you Are?". It sounds like it-and theres a bit of it in the studio version aswell. I used to wonder when I was younger if that -and indeed some of the lyrics were coincidental , or deliberate- like a refrence or lament to Kurt, who Mark Lanegan was good friends with.

I love Layne's lyrics even more now-the memories and music with old friends,and the drifting apart of friendships over the passing of time itself. Brilliant song!!

@Slashownz Cobain was grunge he might not have started it,but he finished it.Nirvana opened the door,for the other bands to enter.And to say Cobain could not sings nuts,of coarse he could.He proved it on the unplugged album.But when it was rock,did you want him to sing?I wanted him to scream,and go mental.It moved me as how I was feeling at that time.If he went acoustic if he lived,it would have been good.Even if he had done the music with REM.Alice in chains,were good 2 so were Soundgarden
