@congruent2006 The total number of active skills you can have at the same time is 7. (1 2 3 4, 5 =leftclic 6 and 7 =rightclic (switch between the two with tab)). So you wont need more shortcuts.
You unlock a new spell at lvl2, 3, 6, 10, 14, 20 and 25. (each time you have to choose one spell from the list)
i was looking at dungeon siege 3 and this and trying to figure out why i might buy one ovr the other. the reason i dont want both is cos i know they'll b very time consuming. i've never played either of the prequels. can any1 tell me the difference and why i might like one ovr the other without being too bias :)

I hope this game has a nightmare difficulty where enemies dish out more damage, or you take more damage and enemies don't drop pots. An extreme mode like dying and starting all over from the start would also be desirable, but I doubt it will make it in.
@LordTyrannus There will be in fact, nightmare and hell dificulty added. There will also be the hardcore mode (meaning if you die once, your char is DEAD forever)

I hope they get rid of the 8 skill slot only BS, if i have 9 skills I should be able to use them without switching, unless its a balance thing?
it seems it would just force people to switch it manually anyway, instead of with key slot.
