If you hit him too hard, he hits you with one of those Rank 4 counterattacks. You have to go easy on him. Also, Angel Robe/Holy Ankh combo on Miranda is absolute win in this fight.

@AD80808 they need to do other things as well, such as lower the effectiveness of all additions (the game is too easy once you learn the additions)... decrease exp obtained from bosses, increase exp from minor enemies, actually make the dragoons powerful, and maybe do other things like lower exp for all 7 characters to make the game more challenging

Nicely done. Though I beat Faust with just Dart. In the beginning of the battle, that giant meteor killed off Albert and Kongol, but it missed Dart (thanks to the Legend Casque and a Spirit Cloak), however I was at a disadvantage because I had Soul Eater (which decays your health each turn), but I still pulled through. And Dart was only level 36 at the time! ^.^

nice battle. i chose to use rose instead of meru. ive got dart,rose, and albert all at level 34. each does over 1500 do him and i barely have to heal at all...cant wait till im up to level 45+ like the last time i played :D

man this battle wasn't hard i was under level 40, and did under 2000 damage to him. In fact i did most my battles with their Default weapons till after disc 3

3 Legend Casques, 3 Armor of Legends. I guess that all of you characters were in their level 30s - 40s? Meru was probably level 35 ish, Albert was almost level 40 maybe low 40ish and Dart was also low 40ish?

go to lohan and buy a legend casque, it raises your magical defense crazy high and most of the time the magic will miss altogether the only down side is that it costs 10000

its because all his members are wearing legend casques for 10000G its a head armor upgrade that increases ur magic defense and attack severely and as a added side effect half the time magic attacks will miss

Melbu Frama is even easier. Most of his attacks are magic based as well. The only reason why he is hard is because of the fact that he has 4 forms. But really I have seen someone beat him in 14 moves. Melbu Frama is also slow and faust, as you can see, can attack up to three times in a row.

Lol, those Legend casque's are so cheap against Faust^^ Try beat him without casque's =D, althou I needed at least one when I beated him. But this is very nice video, and I'm planning to do Boss fight walkthrough soon. Later!!

if you buy the legend casque (10000 gold) it gives you a ton of magic defense and 50-55% chance to evade magic attacks. Get three of them and ur party will do well against most of the end game bosses. Combine it with Three armor of legends and you're pretty much unstoppable.

Er , I just beated Faust now , lvl 40 dart lvl 36 alber and 38 meru , equiped 2 legend casque to dart and meru , worked fine ;p

this boss is easy, the key to defeat him is equip all your charaters with legend casque and the armor of the legend,however, you need to train hard to win money...

Even with Legend Casque, Meru would still be wiped out with one hit of the Psychadelic Bomb X if her HP were under 2000. Dart, I'd say about 2500 and King Albert, 2750. Your Kng Albert was alright, Dart was ok as well, but Meru must evade or else she's a goner.

Yo. Sorry for bitching more about the game than the actual film you did, but I just wanna know 3 more things:

1. Where and how did you get the Legend Casque helmets from?

2. Which level where you while fighting him?

3. If it was over level 40, how the heck did you manage getting that high before even going in to the moon?

I can answere your third question. He ran around for hours on end getting in random fights with monsters which probably lasted for days before finally fighting Faust.

1. You get it from Lohan disk one for 10000gold at the weapon/armor shop.

2. I was lvl 45

3. I went to Mayfil and i did all the dragons spirits then you go to the highest lvl place which should be mayfil and fite until you are rdy. If you have legend casque and phatom shield for each char you could prob kill Fuast at lvl 35

as for your questions:

1. He missed a lot since all three of my characters were equipped with the Legend Casque helmet which gives 50pts to magic avoid and also to note i equiped Meru with the acc. Spirit Cloak which gave an additional 20 pts to Magic Evasion.

2. Nah, I didn't speed up the video, maybe it seems faster cause I'm playing this from a psx emulater and recorded using the fraps program.
