  • info on repair manuals pls email me at finkinkinc@woh.rr.com. So many mis leading...free, just pay for it.

  • Where can I down load repair manuals or part manuals for the older Duncan Parking Meters. Models 50, 60, 70 etc. Thanks

  • That's a model 60.

  • I need two of those to put them in front of my house!!!!! LOL

  • Wow. Technology growth. I wonder how would be the next parking meters, they would probably record information of every car that was parked there when meter was expired. So people will lose another job because of technology since no one needed to catch cars with expired meters.

  • Yes the hours are sometimes put there but with that meter the hours of Operation info is put inside the meter on the top back part of the dome behinfd the flages and indicater as to protect it from elements

  • I've also seen meters where the missing center part contains a label indicating the enforcement hours.

  • I have found a meter that is identical thats still in use, one day i will stop and compare. Thanks!

  • thats good most of the parts should be interchangable.i watch the video again the back lock is to get to the mech inside.if you pop the lock the dome will be able to lift up to get the mech out. With that model you might need to oil the arm latches on the sides of the meter to open it.

  • Sound like the Mech frame is a bit warped thats why you can hear it when you turn the handle. Also the Violation flag is use for coin jams and i would be careful. There are springs to make the flags move. They can go at anytime. As to the missing center part it's a name plate the says Duncan.

  • Thanks, The meter is well used thats for sure!

  • Thats a pretty cool find!

  • I was going to put it by my garage, but I hated to expose it to the weather more. It was a great deal @ 25 bucks. When they pulled them out of downtown they were selling them at the courthouse for 20 bucks. I wish I would have been able to get more than 1.

  • I'd be duct taping the coin door shut and using it in front of my house! I just got a stop light from a flea market in Layfayette for $55. I'm going to rip out the old wires and rewire it. I could use that meter
