And the new comment skimming method which makes it so I respond generally to only legitimate questions or interesting statements and read 99% of everything turns 6 hours of comment responding into about 2 hours. So it's about three times faster. I should be good until like 15,000 subs. ^_^
Because I have a certain amount of hours per week I can goof off with. If I play an MMO for 2 hours a day, which is considered very little, I will no longer have any time to post footage, whatsoever.
I always take requests for things that run on a computer. Just please do me the favor of looking for your game on the walkthrough chart on my website to find out if it has already been requested.
hey can u get batman arkham asylum please ur next play list plzzzzzz ur the best lets play dude please please please please !!!!!!!!!!! first request please u wont regreat
Do you find it easier to build your own PC (Buy a cheap PC then Upgrade it,cause i think that is what you said you did.), or just buy a custom PC that is all maxed out. I recently purcased a Maxed out AlienWare Desktop that was around 10 grand and i didnt know if i made a bad desision.
I see now, I just asked about the 8800GT because Im trying to make a budget gaming comp, the Future Shop in my area has a GTS250 on clearance for 100$ because the box was opened.
Not to be rude but first I don't see it in the Faq either Im blind or I need a new pair of glasses and Second when I go to the list I want to see how should I say this :o... My internet explorer is unresponding then I can move my mouse which then I can turn off my computer which when I turn it off my internet explorer turns black and then my comp restart because I restarted it really Im seriously not TRYING to be a idiot.
Processor is kind of important , now-aday you will want to have a quad core (minimum duo core) for gaming PC this is the first most important thing.
Second is the graphic card if you have a really nice graphic card that can easily display everything you throw at it without slutters you have a great card.
third the ram , 2-4 GB is more then enough if you need more, look at your GPU there's a problem there.
base on the fact that you dont have 800 apps open in the background!;)
The best processor, video card, and memory is going to be worthless if your power supply and motherboard is a piece of s***. Don't overlook those things.
Then you have a four inter-related components that perform as fast as the slowest of the four. Hard drive, video card, CPU, and memory. If you have a terrible 5400 RPM UltraATA hard drive, it doesn't matter what the rest is. Same is true if you have a 2.4 Celeron, or 16 gigs of 400 megahertz (low) memory.
P.P.S.: A good way to increase the power of one of the four inter-related components is by adding multiplicity.
Memory can be in one giant 8 gig dimm, or spread out over four 2 gig dimms. You can install your operating system to one hard drive, the game to a second hard drive, and store your footage to a third. Most good CPUs come with multiple cores.
Video cards are kind of the exception to this rule. You do see a performance increase, but not by a lot. Probably just better to get a new one.
And like I said before, that's because your graphics card was your worst component. If you have a Phenom X3 2.4 gigahertz with 2 gigs of 800 megahertz memory and a single 7200.0 hard drive, upgrading from a Geforce GTX 260 to a GeForce GTX 295 isn't going to make almost any difference. That's because your video card was already slightly better than the rest of your components.
that's what im saying. too much process make you require to have more ram.
if you can get your hand on a quad core processor or a duo core... it mean that your motherboard is PCI-E ready, also for the power supply , 550W is more than enough for a PCI-E high end graphic card.
Hard Drive hmm i never saw anything under 7200 RPM, maybe old school 436 ? ;)
And wattage is important for hard drives, like in raids, but a better characteristic to think about when preparing for powerful video card(s) and CPU(s) is how many amps are available down the 12 volt lines; the stuff that powers them. Over 45 amps is pretty good.

I've got a few questions that weren't in the FAQ....
1. Do you have a favorite game genre?
2. About how much time has the "new" comment-reading system saved you?
3. Boxers or briefs?

Wow, you have a 8800GT?? and you run and record all your games THAT good?
In comparison would the 9600GT or 8800GT be better?
bluesuits 2 years ago
8800GT outperforms 9600GT and 9800GT on the benchmarks. And video card is not even a third of what is important for gaming.

Arm4g3dd0nX 2 years ago
hmm theres a HUGE difference when you get from a very low end perfomance GPU to a high end GPU.
my quad core 4gb ram came with an HD3450 ( worst than a ATI 9600 pro but HD )
i couldnt get anything higher than 15 fps on very low in 800x600 on left 4 dead.
so i change the GPU for a HD4850 ( high end )
now every on high 1680x1050 i get stable 60 fps.
GPU is a very important factor for gaming.

Im saying this based on 2009 PC that are sell at the retailer like futureshop for example...
they come with quad core , 4gb , cheap ass GPU & Power supply ( which you will change & resell )
Blue-ray DVD-R 650+ GB 7200RPM sata drive.
and alot of more stuff for 900$
not a old school 436 or pentium II lol
DriitzzCabal 2 years ago
By 436, do you mean 486? O_o

yes thats what i meant got it mixed up :P
