Good info! I'm trying to prepare a good potting soil for my flower plants. I can get compost, cow manure and coco peat but obtaining vermiculite/perlite is little tough (very expensive). Can i mix 1/2 and 1/2 of compost and coco peat as potting mix? How often do i need to fertilize this mix? and with what?
