I changed two zen stones plus (with speaker) one of 2Gb and the other with 4Gb. The guys from service coud not fix it and i got my money back. They are VERY unstable!!!! Must add that I bought them from two different places so different lots! One more thing, if you buy it for the radio... DON'T. I'm buying an Ipod 5 gen now, is costs more but he quality is higher. P.S. don't make it a gift, you'll feel very bad! :))
It's totally dead. It doesn't turn on. No signal of life...It's not recognized by the computer (i tried different cables). I've tried reset, turn on, hold vol+ plus the power button. nothing.
I've been around some troubleshooting forums and A LOT of people has the same problem!!! so i am trying here to reach a bigger audience. hope anyone can help!
Bought the zen stone plus, but was dissapointed overall. The battery has a terribly short life and you can only scroll from song to song. Where's with my old sony bean you can switch to scrolling between file folders and individual songs and it's battery is atleast 5 times longer than the zen. But it's drawback is that you can only import music through sony's program, no easy drag and drop like the zen. But that's a minor flaw.
I never had those problems - I was acutally amazed by the battery lifetime. The key to flipping between songs faster is to put your songs into folders when you put it onto the MP3. Rock/Pop/Instrumental etc. or by album name.
Its only 2 GB anyway - so theres not that many songs to flip between anyway.
every thing is fine until you try to navigate the menu while a track is playing, coz theres about a 5 sec delay from the time you press the button and the machine actually responding. battery life is short, but sound is good as well as the radio. stop watch; i just cant work out what the 4 sections are for.
I have a Stone Plus and it's great! It's very easy to use you just drag the music from you computer to the playerand that's it. Beware it's quite prone to scratches though because of its glossy finish.
