Thankyou for this superb video. I hope you dont mind but I used it to support a lesson with our Year 8's (Wolfreton School, East Yorkshire) who had missed out on a trip to York Minster (though either choice or poor behaviour). This excellent video means that they still got a great idea of what the mister looks like, and some sense of the awe and wonder it provokes. Thankyou!
the minister is now a total disgrace, you can't get anywhere without paying at least a tenner and most of it is shut of with airport-security type barriers.
@Paulallanreeder You do realise that it costs over £20,000 per DAY to protect and keep open this beautiful building? Surely £10 entry is a very small price to pay to experience such an amazing and historic place of worship, and to preserve it for future generations? Or were you comparing the entry fee to the price of a McDonalds Happy Meal? I was there with a large group of Y8 Students only last week (22/06/11) and there was no 'security tape' anywhere. Open your heart as well as your eyes...
Visited Lincoln cathedral last week, this is the nest one on my list, what camcorder do you use? looks like its pretty good for inside low light recording?
