Thus, the universal vehicle will contains: 1).-the body strenght frame; 2).-the thermonuclear controlled reactor; 3).-coolling devices; 4).-reactive electromagnetic motors for drive force and for orientation. At this vehicle, with the steering-wheel or separate commands aid, we direct motors' traction force on any displacement way. The possibilitiys of adaptation and using such vehicles are unlimited in any domain: transport, energy, mining, agriculture, building, dwellings...
The test for nuclear fusion realisation on Tokamak's installations and with LASER cannot bring anything new for the energetics' future. I bind the thermonuclear controlled reactor schedule by the Sun model , by the reactive electromagnetic motor schedule from Palenque stone's tombe. You see the my project for thermonuclear controlled reactor.
I had thinked a proposal of realisation to one universal vehicle, good on Earth but and in cosmos. The source of energy is a thermonuclear controlled reactor, and the traction is realized through a set of reactive electromagnetic motors. The realization of these, impose a revision and elucidation to some parts from the actual science, which is strangled of the theoretical physics with a series of metaphysical laws and principles.
I love how everyone is cheering and laughing... until the sound hits them. Then they go silent for a while. I read that when the Saturn V took off, it was the loudest man made noise ever, next to a nuclear explosion. Reporters and observers a few miles away had trouble finding the words to describe how stunningly loud it was.
@thecravenator42069 My Daddy taught me that at sea level sound goes a mile every five seconds (good way to tell how far away you are from a lightning strike). You are correct: It is just a tad under 3 miles from Launch Complex 17 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station to Jetty Park at Port Canaveral, where this video was shot. Has been a great place to watch (and hear) Delta II launches. Too bad there is only one more scheduled -- a NASA science probe in November, 2011.
@rss0246 There is going to be one more launch on September 8th 2011. There is a huge chance that I will be in Orlando on that week... so... I´m not going to miss it!!!!
@tsman2709 Yes, this is the Delta 2 / GRAIL launch I was referring to. They had been talking November, but have settled (for now) on September 8. If it actually goes that day there's a "huge chance" I won't be in Florida -- so you will have to watch it for me at Jetty Park. There's another Delta 2 launch scheduled -- a NASA / NOAA satellite in October. But that' one is going from Vandenberg AFB in California which won't help me out much either...
I was on the fishing pier at Jetty Park. Admission is $5 per car. There are better places to see Atlantis and the other space shuttles from. Check out Space View park in Titusville. It is free.
I think what you saw was the little rocket boosters falling off. It's kind of like the space shuttle where it has the two white solid rocket boosters fall off after a few moments in to the flight. On this particular rocket, the boosters are much smaller. I'm pretty sure that's what you were talking about.
go462, you have a very steady hand and you made a fine, fine video of a Delta 2 launch. I've always preferred watching launches like this one from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station to Shuttle launches from KSC. The Deltas are fast, loud and basically streak into space right over your head. Many thanks!
Thankyou so much for this video. We are a family of Aussies who had travelled to coincide with launch window. Were at Jetty Park on morning of lauch, but video camera failed, and the stills we took don't do justice to the sound.
Now we can really show folks our luanch experience.
