"20 billion minimum is spent each year on nuclear weapons to fire at countries who don't have nuclear weapons, in a senario which is pointless and never going to happen, and so ends up just stockpiling thousands of weapons of mass destruction whilst looking for a handfull in Afghanistan which , if they existed, probably wouldn't work" - apoligies for any grammer issues.
I'm not a huge military fan, but you're dead wrong. Permanent entitlements such as social security are currently about 60% of the budget and defense spending (which is not permanent) is something like 4%.
No, no mention because the cost of the wars does not begin to touch the spending on SocSec, Meicare, & Medicaid. And unlike the latter, wars do end.
Neither SocSec nor Medi-anything are funded (that is, none are paid-for directly by the tax stream or prior savings that was "promised") at a sustainable level. SocSec turned negative sometime last fiscal year. The net overall shortfall of promises for which there is no money is about $100T.
No mention of the gazillions of dollars being thrown down a rathole on ill-advised and unnecessary wars? Instead, you mention $180,000 being spent on something?
Pure, unadulterated bullshit.
P.S. Social Security is NOT an unfunded liability. I paid for it, Little Emily.

Indeed, your post is pure and unadulterated BS.
