@knossis1 That move at the end is called a muscle-up. They are my favourite exercie, they're almost a full uper body exercise, triceps, biceps, chest and back all in the one exercise. I always feel pumped after doing them.
Don't use your legs, keep your legs down then do one. Try it by gripping your forearm with the other hand, that's how we did them in the Marine Corps. We had to get our legs down though, we couldn't bring them up like that.
the stuff u are doing with ur bodyweight is awesome man. How many years are u training like this ? And are u doing weightlifting exercises beside bodyweight ones ?
@Tehshtevan REPLY1 Cheers. I've always done pull ups, dips, and pushups, but it's only in the last 3 or 4 years that I've started aspiring to one arm pull ups and muscle-ups. I really like the body weight stuff, because it doesn't matter how big or small you are it's all equal, and it trains your core better than just laying on a bench, pushing a weight up. As far as weightlifting exercises go, I only really do 3, incline dumbel presses, dumbel clean and presses and arguably the best single ...
@ian9toes hehe thx for the info matey im training muay thai besides gym and weightlifting , and i figured that i was getting rly pumped up by some weightlifting (bodybuilding exercises ) but also i felt as if i was getting slower and slower too , so i thought i should ditch those unnecessary exercises and just do bodyweight stuff with + weight on it (pull ups with dumbell around the core , pushups and dips with weight too )
@Tehshtevan reply 2 : , and with the weightlifting exercises i would only stick with the deadlift ,squat , military press and such basic strenght exercises(hope that program will make me more explosive with more agile strenght then the brute one ). again thanks for the reply i and i hope to see more from you !
Wow, that sure motivates me training in strength. I'm good in endurance (crossed canada on bicycle) but I just can't find the same motivation for training in strength. And it's sure refreshing to see a so strong guy, yet so humble. Yeah, that sure motivates me!
@fl260 Crossed Canada on a bicycle! Far out. I'm the other way, I don't like long enduring workouts unless I'm on my dirtbike, but the strength training I find a lot easier. I just like it 'cause you can do some cool stuff, and I only have do short intense little bursts of effort. Which is easy when you have it all at home. I get a lot of motivation from all the stuff here on youtube, so I'm glad my video has motivated you.
Wow, master of the body weight and "some change" those are all awesome achievements, you got all your workout equipment at a hardware store by the way? I'd love to have a set up like you have there, please share some details!
@Doodleedeedoodleedoo (reply 1) Haha, yes some of that stuff came from a hardware store, being the chains, carabiners and "S" hooks. I have different chains for different exercises, and when I was trying to get an iron cross, I would use the "S" hooks to put them in the chains at a length so my feet were just off the ground, at what ever level I was at. The chain I use for the weighted stuff, I have a carabiner on one end, which is good for multiple sets (doesn't fall off), and I have a "S" hook
@Doodleedeedoodleedoo (reply 2) at the other end. One side of the "S" hook is squashed onto the chain with a vice so it won't fall off. And as you can see it makes it very easy to wrap the chain around myself and the "S" hook latches on effortsly. I also use this set up for doing dips. If I add weight I'll make the chains rub against my arms to make them less unstable, but if I do just my own weight, I'll put my hands out a little wider, so the chains don't touch my arms at all, much harder.
@Doodleedeedoodleedoo If I add all the chains together using the "S" hooks I can make them go near the ground, I then put my feet up on a bucket and do "flys" with my own weight. You can see that in my "garage workout" video. Above the man hole, I have three 2 meter long 90 x 35 mm timbers screwed together, these span 4 rafters so I won't damage the garage ceiling.
@ian9toes That's awesome man, it's time for me to get creative! I'm really glad you found the time for such a long reply in-between all your daredevil activities :D
@picklejarzz Thanks, for me the best thing I ever did was to set myself up to train at home. The second best thing I did was to adopt the gymnasts training philosophy "train as often as you can while remaining as fresh as you can". So I just do little mini workouts all the time, nothing too major, I rarely work up a sweat, but I rarely take a day off either.

Aren't you worried about falling on that weight stand when it's hanging under you? Looks like an accident waiting to happen >_<

Also...nice set up you got there. That gymnist move you do at the end. I've seen GSP do that also. That has to be great for strenght training.

@Tehshtevan REPLY2 ... exercise you can do, trap bar deadlifts, they work you in a way that body weight exercises can't replicate.
