This TV looks gr8 and I have just bought the Samsung D5520 LED and now as I have a 28 day trial period if I like the TV or not I am going to buy this D7000 now, Is the TV very heavy to carry and lift. I live in England and usually shop at Currys Electrical! Thanks

youtube happy new year you know this years samsung is coming with new models i think some is going to come with passive 3D, as for last yr model the d7000 is on of the best samsung tv's great picture, Excellent gaming tv, and the 3d is awesome.and the best part of the new year with the new models coming out? the last yrs models are cheaper now!!!!!! now my youtube friends go and get the best tv of 2011!!!

I just bought the D7000 55" model to replace my Pana plasma. It's arriving tomorrow, looked amazing in the shop so I can't wait. Great video as well, it helped me make the decision on what model I wanted.

@Hunterssoldier Just got the same one, let me know if you are getting a white ghost effects at the corners of the screen. Researched about this and found out all the 7000 series have the same problem because of led lit corners. Also, I had my TV Calibrated for 200 dollars. If you want I can share the calibration codes with you.

@shoxite Yes I noticed clouding as soon as I turned the TV on. Lowering the backlight to around 7 helped dramatically but in the end I had it exchanged for a Sony because I found it kind of irritating seeing bright spots during dark scenes. Otherwise the TV was perfect, beautiful design & great overall picture & sound quality. The main reason for my swap is because I read on CNET that the Bravias have a much better black level, so it's more ideal for my night time viewing.

@blade83336 You can watch in 2D or 3D however you want. Only certain material will play in true 3D though.

Best review of the D7000 TV I've seen and great you talked about the LG 3D as that was going to be my 2nd choice i wish you had talked about the HD picture and showed some more content rather than your boy playing the XBox BUT you have sold the D7000 to me, PS Get a job in Best Buy and your wife made me howl with laughter...

Hey, if you don't mind could you tell me if a video from megavideo works in full screen on the web browser. I tried it out in Futureshop (Canada) and i could watch it in small screen. When I enlargened it, the browser froze on me. Please tell me asap since I am deciding to buy the Tv.

@gstyle23 did u find out if megavideo works in full screen on the browser? If you can't find a video, go to dubbinz.com and click on an anime (e.g. bleach, naruto, etc) then select an episode and watch it in full screen. Please tell me as i am still waiting for your response.

i have the ue55d8000 i buy for $2,800 also the 3D is amazing on PS3 the likes of KILLZONE 3,MLB 11 THE SHOW, AND I CANT WAIT TO SEE UNCHARTED 3 ON MY TV SO THE PS3 is the way to go for 3D

d8000 has micro dimming plus also which makes a HUGE difference.

But it's better to to watch youtube videos though the web browser, bcuz (1) the youtube app suck "and it take too long to load the video", (2) yes it does play videos in hd, (3) Youtube in 3D? maybe you can do 2D to 3D and watch the videos but i haven't tryed it yet.

i'm not sure about the dvr feature from what i research so far the us models dosen't include the dvr feature. but i haven't tryed it my self i guess becuase i hvae a Hauppauge pvr for all of my recordings

Anyway I saw some review that didn't reccomend this tv for gamer cause the high input lag (55 ms in game mode). Did you see something annoying in your playing experience?

Thank u for watching... i had the c8000 55", nice hdtv but i can realy tell a difference in the game play it felt real slow and real delayed but still i wanted to keep it but like i said samsung didnt make the glasses for the tv no more. As for my 46" to me theres no lag or delay, but then again i dont play with game mode on,,, 46" should be the norm when playing consoles games but as alway the smaller the screen the better game play..

Here's best buy prices: $1,999.99 d7000 / $2,399.99 d8000 oh yea they both now comes with rechargable 3d glasses

I had the c8000 55" it was a nice tv but it wasnt good because I'm a gamer, but for your question the d8000 will come in a 60" or a 65" later this year...
