Austin "wannabe". I'm going to give you some advice which can really help. Tomorrow, go out and buy (or download) a copy of Miles Davis' "Bitches Brew" album. Listen to it assiduously every day. Internalize it. Don't even try to touch the keyboard--- just listen. Then after you become familiar with some of the musical patterns in say, oh-- 6 months, begin trying to play or work out some of the riffs that you hear, be it guitar, piano, horn, whatever. Then come back and redo this vid.
