these guys are brilliant.... I first met them in LA at the Roxy.. Ed was 17. they are old souls... the music they write for their age is amazing.... Me, Maha, Karen used to rock out with these guys... took them to disney land...
I'm curious. Was this recorded at Club Babyhead in Providence, RI. It sure looks like the club as I remember. It was an extra good saw if it was Luscious Jackson opened if this is Babyhead.
btw..check out 'I alone video' they have a babyhead shirt on.
I got to see them in 92. It was an Mtv tour with Blind Melon, Live, PIL, and Big AudioDynamite. I couldn't believe that they were all around 17 when they did Mental Jewelry. And now the irony with the second war in Iraq (which is what most of Mental Jewelry was about - Desert Sheild) Anyway - whoever posted this....thanks. I love Live : )
I saw them in 1994-95 and it's amazing to hear how political they were when they were so young. When I see these old performance, like with Pearl Jam from this time, it makes me kinda sad not to see the same energy - more so associated with age then apapthy.
