Love Paul Revere & the Raiders version, too...they were a GREAT band.

However....

I haven't heard a drummer yet who can top Lynn Easton's original track with the Kingsmen. That guy was a frickin' wildman!!!

Love this version of "Louie Louie", I even like it better than "The Kingsmen" version if that's possible.....I wish that this version gto as much air time as "The Kingsmen" version... Thanks for posting.....

This is from the Stereo pressing of "Paul Revere and The Raiders Greatest Hits". If you can find the Mono LP, Louie, Louie is not the same studio recording as heard here, but a MUCH MORE raucous and exciting Live performance.
