Cool stuff. This never popped up in searches until I made a search about what guitar Lightfoot plays. Then it was on page 11 of a Google thread. Weird, being this is the most solid and helpful basic tutorial.

If cats want to finger pluck or plectrum mimic finger plucking it they should practice and go for it, lol. Gordon says he loses his fingering style totally and has had to relearn it after his illnesses or vacations. Not easy.

Does Gordon tune to DGCFAD and then capo at 2nd fret for EADGBA?

I think sinkillaaa is wrong when he says its terrible, I'm sure he doesn't even know how to play a basic chord if his life depended on it... I definitely think its a nice change to the song. Songs aren't suppose to be copied exactly the same, everyone interprets them in their own way. I'd like to say Great Job on the strumming, and Great Job on the singing also. Very nice voice and tone. Two thumbs up!

Thanks. Perhaps the strumming thing isn't as pretty and evocative as the fingerstyle accompaniment, but its worthwhile nevertheless. Its a lovely song which should be accessable to as many players as possible.
