I think Stephanie should be played by Jennifer Anniston. She fits what the book describes. Morelli should be played by Jensen Ackles just give him dark brown contacts and dye his hair black. And even though I know Dwayne Johnson is not Cuban he sure can pass for Ranger. But other then that the rest you picked for the cast works.

Those are all really great choices, the best I've seen so far on youtube. BUT, I have to disagree with your pick for Ranger, he is supposed to be more edgy and the hottest man alive, and your pick for him doesn't do it for me. Also, your pick for Stephanie is the best I've seen, but no, I don't think she would be the best choice, but neither is Sandra Bullock.

I think most people will disagree about the three core characters: Steph, Morelli and Ranger, but I don't think anyone can disagree that Mo'nique as Lula, MCD as Tank and Steve Buscemi as Vinnie were perfect choices.

i liked the older cast. but the main characters are all wrong. christian bale is white. he cant play a tall dark scruffy ITALIAN. and Colin ferril is Irish. Ranger is what cuban? and joyce burnhardt cant be that pretty...oh and dicki orr is a slime ball. ryan reynolds is too hot for that role. it should be vince vaughn.

No of course not, but he plays one sometimes, & Colin could totally pass as a cuban. As for dickie..
