Theres just one problem with this list, they are all extremely weak pokemon. A team of just a select few could totally overpower this team. Two of theese are firebased, moves that are powerfull doesnt matter if they are on a 1st stage poke. Especially not if they are being dominated by status effects of an actual powerfull poke. ash doesnt need any more than charizard, picachu. the 4 others depend on his opponent. but how is donphan better than bulbasaur and squirtle? how id monferno more important than quilava, todadile, and bayleaf. yes, i agree with sceptile, but not fully. it is the only season where he only has one main starter pokemon. think it over on donphan. its very good, but not great. think back to the great first two or three seasons. that was when the creator was actually alive. those where the best.
instead of improoving the graphics of a game that doesn't need good graphics to be great, they should use aditional discspace to include the other regions, that would have made the games much better, pokemon can level up to 100 but i never needed a single one above 64 for any pokemon game, if they included all regions in one game, that would be a diferent story, you could actualy reach max level without beating the elite four over and over AND OVER again.
They're all nice pokemon I agree even though I haven't seen them myself in the series but "Killer Moves like Hyper/Solar Beam etc"..? They wouldn't be great if those were the "Killer Moves" Due to resting next turn...

This is my contribution. I think this is a BRILLIANT representation except for 2 changes - I would replace Donphan with Muk, and Monferno evolved, so it would be replaced with Infernape.
Also pokemon fell apart AFTER the hoen region mas made. U can't tell me Blaziken isn't badass or that Rayquaza isn't epic! I could go on and on about the good pokemon from saphire and ruby plus there weren't alot of bad ones either

Pokemon became a huge sellout after 2nd gen. 1st and 2nd gen are linked with eachother, the storyline in gen 1 goes on in gen 2. Also, it was clear from the start that a gen 2 was planned, because ash saw ho-oh in the VERY FIRST episode ever, and it wasn't in the original 151. So gen. 2 was a logic continue to gen1. After gen 2, the makers wanted to make more money, and therefore created gen 3. It's obvious

In my opinion, generation 3 and beyond can never follow up on the first two, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. How many of us only know about the generation 3,4 and 5, only from the games? I will tell you, the majority. The majority of us pokemon fans, used to watch gen 1 and gen 2. I and many of my friends, stopped after that, cus we grew out of it.
@Brayleron Also, I dislike how they sort of "restarted" the whole thing. I mean by this, the story of the generation 2 is a sequel sort of generation 1, with a 3 year time difference. Kanto and jotho are linked, where as Hoenn is a complete new start. No more team rocket, no compatibility with red/blue/silver/gold. Same goes for Sinnoh and Unova. No link in between, just a complete different storyline every single time. I like games which go forth on one another. That's why I dislike it mainly.

@stevio706 I know what you mean, Thing is, the series is connected in a way, since past characters have met the newer ones, like Misty meeting May, May meeting Misty, mentions of Dawn being in B/W in a special episode, and mentions to remakes and past gens in the games, so its connected, but in a subtle way
@Brayleron Yeah i know the anime is connected, because the main character in the anime is ash throughout the entire anime and jesse, james and meoth are still in there (yes I’ve seen a couple of the recent anime’s by coincidence ^^) and the generation 3,4 and 5 games are slightly linked as well for example Steven from ruby/sapphire showing his face every now and then. I just like sequel games just more, where the story line continues, rather than what they did with generation 3 and beyond ;)
@stevio706 Yeah, i agree, though i do like new things to be added as well, after gen 2 everything actually got better, giving Natures to Pokemon, Abilities, etc, so i do hope a gen 6 comes out - Mainly so i can say 'I thought you hated gen 5?' to those who argued that gen 5 was ugly, and when they start saying 'Gen 5 was better then this, atleast it didn't have ugly Pokemon' when they had said the exact opposite about gen 5! Plus, i do have to say, gen 1&2 had some ugly Pokemon :P

Pokémon red/blue/silver/gold were my childhood, I played them a lot as a kid and I watched the animes for them. When Ruby/Sapphire came around, I kinda grew out of it but I still played the games. I guess I’ll never have that same feeling as I had with red/blue/gold/silver. Oh well, everybody has its own opinion ofcourse ^^.

ash doesnt need any more than charizard, picachu. the 4 others depend on his opponent. but how is donphan better than bulbasaur and squirtle? how id monferno more important than quilava, todadile, and bayleaf. yes, i agree with sceptile, but not fully. it is the only season where he only has one main starter pokemon. think it over on donphan. its very good, but not great. think back to the great first two or three seasons. that was when the creator was actually alive. those where the best.

instead of improoving the graphics of a game that doesn't need good graphics to be great, they should use aditional discspace to include the other regions, that would have made the games much better, pokemon can level up to 100 but i never needed a single one above 64 for any pokemon game, if they included all regions in one game, that would be a diferent story, you could actualy reach max level without beating the elite four over and over AND OVER again.

@Musicvideoman20 Dragon isn't weak to electric you moron. In fact, it normally resists it. Because of dragonite being dragon/flying, electric does NEUTRAL damage. Only a brainless moron could think pikachu had a type advantage over dragonite

Also pokemon fell apart AFTER the hoen region mas made. U can't tell me Blaziken isn't badass or that Rayquaza isn't epic! I could go on and on about the good pokemon from saphire and ruby plus there weren't alot of bad ones either

@xXDINOKINGXx after the second gen pokemon went wayyy downhill and i'll tell you why. Pokemon became a huge sellout after 2nd gen. 1st and 2nd gen are linked with eachother, the storyline in gen 1 goes on in gen 2. Also, it was clear from the start that a gen 2 was planned, because ash saw ho-oh in the VERY FIRST episode ever, and it wasn't in the original 151. So gen. 2 was a logic continue to gen1. After gen 2, the makers wanted to make more money, and therefore created gen 3. It's obvious

@xXDINOKINGXx And that's why generation 3, and also 4 and 5, suck imo. Theres no link between the diffrent generations no more, its always a totally new storyline, and more and more lame and new pokemon. Therefore, I hope there's never gonna come a 6th gen or more, because my love for pokemon (which i got during generation 1 and 2) is still too strong and it hurts me to see it became such a sellout like it did.

@stevio706 So, big question, and yes i read both of your comments, i have to say there is a huge problem with what you said...
For one, it didn't become a sellout, it evolved further, it grew, gave us LIFE to the Pokemon, brought in some of the best Pokemon out there
In fact, the series would be hated, tossed aside and forgotten if it stuck with 1&2 Gen, GameFreak didn't want that, so they got the series to evolve as well, its no sellout, it's them keeping the chain going

@Brayleron I don't think there is any problem with what I said. That's how I see it, you see it differently. In my opinion, generation 3 and beyond can never follow up on the first two, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. How many of us only know about the generation 3,4 and 5, only from the games? I will tell you, the majority. The majority of us pokemon fans, used to watch gen 1 and gen 2. I and many of my friends, stopped after that, cus we grew out of it.

@Brayleron Also, I dislike how they sort of "restarted" the whole thing. I mean by this, the story of the generation 2 is a sequel sort of generation 1, with a 3 year time difference. Kanto and jotho are linked, where as Hoenn is a complete new start. No more team rocket, no compatibility with red/blue/silver/gold. Same goes for Sinnoh and Unova. No link in between, just a complete different storyline every single time. I like games which go forth on one another. That's why I dislike it mainly.

@stevio706 Huh, i see, so if they stuck with the same old team every time, made each region link in some way, it would be better? :/ HIGHLY doubt that, Team Galactic were really dangerous, Team Plasma had an interesting goal and, they actually got a Legendary Pokemon on their side instead of it bashing em around like Team Rocket.
Sorry, but i don't like how you see it, if its the same people over and over again, it gets dull and boring, plus it does link in a way

@Brayleron I don’t think you quite understand what I’m trying to say. I’m not saying I would enjoy the same thing all over again, I’m saying that there should be nothing beyond generation 2. I enjoyed the generation 3 games and beyond seperately, but I don’t like how they are completely loose from one another.

@stevio706 I know what you mean, Thing is, the series is connected in a way, since past characters have met the newer ones, like Misty meeting May, May meeting Misty, mentions of Dawn being in B/W in a special episode, and mentions to remakes and past gens in the games, so its connected, but in a subtle way

@Brayleron Yeah i know the anime is connected, because the main character in the anime is ash throughout the entire anime and jesse, james and meoth are still in there (yes I’ve seen a couple of the recent anime’s by coincidence ^^) and the generation 3,4 and 5 games are slightly linked as well for example Steven from ruby/sapphire showing his face every now and then. I just like sequel games just more, where the story line continues, rather than what they did with generation 3 and beyond ;)

@stevio706 Yeah, i agree, though i do like new things to be added as well, after gen 2 everything actually got better, giving Natures to Pokemon, Abilities, etc, so i do hope a gen 6 comes out - Mainly so i can say 'I thought you hated gen 5?' to those who argued that gen 5 was ugly, and when they start saying 'Gen 5 was better then this, atleast it didn't have ugly Pokemon' when they had said the exact opposite about gen 5! Plus, i do have to say, gen 1&2 had some ugly Pokemon :P

@Brayleron Well I enjoy the additions they made to the Pokémon, I just don’t like the new Pokémon at all :p. Pokémon red/blue/silver/gold were my childhood, I played them a lot as a kid and I watched the animes for them. When Ruby/Sapphire came around, I kinda grew out of it but I still played the games. I guess I’ll never have that same feeling as I had with red/blue/gold/silver. Oh well, everybody has its own opinion ofcourse ^^.
