Maybe it could shoot heavy rocks or bombs. Single load (like flare gun) to offset an increase in area damage.

@CoatedTrout I know, but valve should really have focused on making more weapons then hats. Because recently I've been seeing so much gloating about how people have a small cosmetic item that does nothing and falls off even after you die.

Hats on the other hand do nothing at all.
