  • It amazes me how ZOMBIE movies are ROOTED in reality and how few people ever catch on to that. People surround other people by surprise and rape and murder people. If it hasn't happened to you, it might unless you are in an organization that does that.

  • I stay behind the zombie

  • Gay

  • @Shivelybanetek Come on its a classic film.

  • this is a blockbusting film

  • I love this movie classic zombie film

  • That snippet of music at the end, not the gonk, but the synth that plays for a second or two. I've listened to the whole soundtrack. Its not in it or at least I think it isnt. Anyone help me here ?

  • @blagit23 it is in the soundtrack I think its from one of the scenes with bub

  • @alnwicktkd I have the soundtrack. Your right, it is contained in the scenes with Bub, but they dont seem to appear in the soundtrack. The track 'Bub's 9th' contains a snippet of it at the start. Just think its a lovely synth and would like t hear it properly. guess i might have t scour the soundtrack some more or rip it from the film haha. Thanks 4 the reply!

  • @blagit23 This is the same music they use at the end of Shaun of the Dead when they explain all the plot holes.

  • @AmaranthineDark Thanks 4that I'll check it up

  • They filmed that movie where i live, wooo hooo Zombicon!

  • i love the music in this movie

  • its like resident evil extinction

  • @carloraqueno Except "Day of the Dead" wasn't made by someone Like Paul W.S. Anderson who's nothing but a Wannabe movie director.

  • Awww, Id sit next to Him... as long as He keeps eating the popcorn... and I get a gun.

  • XDXDXD

  • Day was the best of the series.

  • this was one of the only movies that actually scared me

  • That part where the guy is using the megaphone is from a song by The Gorillaz

  • it was the popcorn!

  • classic 80s synth :)

  • ultran your mam and your bird like cock aswell

  • Dawn of the dead was fucking stupid. The guys on a gun shop with a shitload of guns, more than he could ever use and doesn't use them on the zombies? It was just the most fucking retarded zombie movie i've ever seen.

  • @Wravier

You listen to dance music. Your opinion is irrelevant.

  • I don't like Dawn, Day, or Night... I LIKE COCK

  • I prefer Dawn over Day.

Way too much exposition in Day.

  • nice 1 this is on the original day of the dead

  • I bought this movie on a blue ray dvd disc from BEST BUY and I got a blue ray player system---but the dang thing wont play at all----sucks---but,I have seen this flick before and loved it I am a horror film fan and love Romeros flix*

  • LOL popcorn eating zombie!

  • captain rhodes FTW!

  • one of the best zombie movies ever ever

  • @sergius666 Not a hard feat. Every zombie movie made is fucking pathetic.

  • Dammit, why the hell did all of Romero's movie budget go away, he had 7 million dollars and good script, but then he only had 3.5 million and had to cut the good parts out. I could have been a greater movie.

  • ... greatest zombie film EVER! the decapitation scenes alone were enough to freak you out, oh an the bearded guy screamin 'hellloooo', forgot his nme but the deuchy one who causes most of the problems... yer what a deuche

  • at 1:28....Bub is "oohhhhh shit"....

  • as far as im concerned i was with captain rhodes the whole movie, they r dead they should stay dead kill em all lol

  • Does anyone know where I can find this movie online? There seems to be anything on the internet. EXCEPT this fucking movie.

  • love the mad scientist in this film, this is definatly the best zombie movie

  • Day of the Dead 1985 is by far my favorite zombie movie!!!!

  • Best zombie movie ever, the survivors are more fucked up in this movie than the zombies. Great great movie.

  • masturbation

  • the only remake romero ever got right was dawn of the dead

  • @Dontyouevertouchme

What about Night of the Living Dead 1990 and The Crazies?

  • the zombies i like are ones that are infected not walking dead and are actualy infected where the infection makes them bit weaker not gives them super powers just like in l4d

  • @viliussmproductions well then you must not like romero's films the cause of reanimation is unknown but assumed to be supernatural as anyone who dies for any reason regardless of seeing a zombie or not becomes a zombie

  • @jopeon they say in night of the living dead that it came from a space shuttle

  • @viliussmproductions

So, you like the shitty ones.

  • @waeFilms yup those that u can kill with a pan :)

  • @waeFilms U cock end!

  • @waeFilms U cock end! I certainly hope, that if , Touch wood, there ever is a Zombie apocalyse in Blackpool! U'll at least make the effort to be right there in the middle of things!!LOL

  • 1:25 mmmmm tasty

  • Very funny trailer for a great movie

  • Adolph Caesar doing the voiceover!!!!!

  • I felt so bad when Bub found the scientist dead and he banged the chains on the door that was so sad :'( That captain got what he deserved.

  • @AshXXMayftw yea but the capt. also made me laugh my ass off throughout the movie, he is an asshole yes but ina funny way :)

  • this is my favorite of goerge

  • Night, Day and Land for me. Dawn and Survival are guilty pleasures.

  • @sandmanzcommin08 survival isn't released in america lucky brits

  • aaah-hahaha-hahaa-ha-haa-haa-ha.

  • I got the original dvd :)

  • LOL the zombie is eating pop corn just staring point blank at the movie hilarious

  • Ah Ha HA Ha Ha HA hA!

  • i like capt rhodes

  • @GIANTreed1: U really need to get a life fag. George is a legend and a damn good one. Clearly u don't have a life so u talk shit about his life. Really... Get a life!

  • romero should retire makin films hes shit

  • @GIANTreed1

Wow. I sincerely hope that you die in a fucking fire you dickpenis. This movie was a masterpiece and there are still pricks like you who don't appreciate it. Sure, Land of the Dead was not nearly as good as Day of the Dead, but it was still an awsome movie.

  • CAP RHODES BADASS!!!!!

  • day of the dead had the best gore effects seen in a zombie movie, its a shame though george couldn't make the film he wanted about a caribbean island ruled by the governor of florida who had a trained zombie army, the original script had the remaining humans living on an island of dr moreau type society where the rich had the power and held wild parties with nude women and the poor were forced to live in a hellish concentration camp like area next to the walking dead

  • you saying that just made the theatrical version about 30 times better.

  • @ladner3000moviebuff. he did basically make that film, it was called land of the dead! it was very similar to that plot. funny how day turned out to be the best one : )

  • that sounds similar to land of the dead, the rich living in a warm safe tower and the poor living in the ruins with only a river and electric fence seperating them from the zombies

  • creeeeeeeeeepy!

i'd've lost my shit if i was sittin that close to a zombie. domesticated or not. i'd wanna kill the f**ker. that shit don't last.

unless it was Bud from the 2007/8 remake. he was cute. ^.^ that's right! a CUTE zombie.

  • Bub, moron.

  • in the '07 version, it's Bud.

and don't call me a moron. jerk.

  • If you count that as a movie, you are a silly goose.

  • Meet Day of the Dead star Joe Pilato:

    SATURDAY NIGHTMARES EXPO

    March 19-21st

    The Landmark Loew's Theatre

    Jersey City, NJ

  • Shit not seen this trailer before nice

  • One of, if not the best Zombie film of all time; instead of focussing soley on gore (but when there's gore, boy is it gory!), it focusses upon the humans and their tensions brought about by the circumstances. Fantastic acting by the cast, a fantastic Score by John Harrison...speaking of which, I love the end of this trailer with the rendition of "The Gonk" as the lone zombie eats his popcorn.

  • @CFodderESG This and Dawn of the Dead are ranked #1 and 2 in my book as the best zombie movies of all time.

  • nice vid

  • I love the zombie in this trailer....Im gona call him norman.

  • yay norman!

  • wow no one comment the gonk song that was in dawn of the dead that played like during the credits i think and the same song is actually in the movie right when he turns the light out on bub

  • 0:23-0:29 was in the gorillaz song M1 A1

  • this is one of a classics... only to be improved by 28 days days later... Respect

  • @elyurita You know nothing just because of this ridiculous comment. New horror sucks ass.

  • @Wotan8statt8yahweh

What do you think of ironic horror parodies like Scream or body horror like Hostel?

  • @Johnlindsey289 I don't like it at all. There are many good horror films like Day of the dead but horror also doesnt get any better.

  • @Wotan8statt8yahweh

What do you think of Eli Roth? do you think he's bringing back hardcore horror back with his Hostel movies and they do compare to Men Behind The Sun, Cannibal Ferox, Cannibal Holocaust, Day of the Dead, Bloodsucking Freaks etc. right? or do they fail?

  • what the hell theirs a zombie in the movies @_o

  • hahaha my photography teacher in the one who's looking scared at 0:05 seconds :)

  • Day of the Dead is an awesome film, though it's too bad Romero couldn't make his original version of it. Find the script if you can, it's AWESOME and would have be the true zombie epic.

  • beats the new movies by far love bub

  • It's a tie between dawn and day for me, I just can't decide, both great zombie flicks

  • i know there's the fact in dawn that bugs me how non of the zombies have bites except for main characters turned but i don't like the part in the end how she dreams zombies are in the heli those are just the two things that bugged me in either but i love both

  • In the Romero movies, anyone who dies becomes a zombie, bitten or not. If you're bitten, your sure to die, then reanimate as a zombie. Zombies eat human flesh to survive, so most people that are bitten are consumed, unless they escape alive.

  • actually anyone who dies and get's eaten by zombies becomes one, i haven't seen this movie yet but in the other two those who were untouched did not transform.

  • If someone dies of natural causes, they too become a zombie, or as Romero called them, a "ghoul".

  • @jflo91 both are amazing movies but for me Dawn just was a little better, but of course so many great things about day damnit George you had to make so many great films

  • @jflo91 i love the idea of having a whole mall for you self. but whitout Bub. it must get borring for people

  • @jflo91 dawn. but you are right they both are great, idk just something about dawn is so unlike any movie i've ever seen.

  • Bub is FTW

  • Sherman Howard is my step uncle, hah.

    (:

  • Day is the best

  • fucking funny.

  • Day is by far my favorite zombie flick. The new zombie films are worthless and a waste of cash to keep seeing. Night and Dawn led the way to the best zombie flick of the all...Day of the Dead.

I love the entire film from the first facial expression from Sarah...until the end(won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet).

I fell in love with the film a few minutes into it. The soundtrack kicks ass, I have it here and listen often.

RIP Richard Liberty and Ralph Marrero

  • ya but i like the remake of night and dawn not as much as the originals tho and i hear there's a remake of day and i also hear it blows i watched 15 seconds of it and needed a bucket because it sucked that bad

  • say hello bub?

  • Day of Iraq: flesh eating Americans set up Abu Ghraib type prison camps to eat the flesh of their victims; blood, horror, and real zombies. Not in theaters but here and now. See it in your local news "Day of Iraq" :(

  • Awesome commercial! I briefly saw my late cousin Ralph Marrero in this trailer; who died tragically in a car accident. ThankS for posting. Smile, Marty Marrero

  • Marty,

I was heartbroken to hear of Ralph's passing.

I knew him in high school. When did he die.

So glad he realizes his acting dream. I met him during 'Oklahoma' in 1976.

    Vanessa

  • Hi Vanessa, Ralph died in 1991 in a car accident. Killed by a drunk driver. He would be proud of me as I am in the Acting biz myself and have an Acting school and Talent Agency in Miami. Maybe Romero would consider selecting talents of mine for future projects as my cousin worked for him. Here's to wishful thinking! Thanks anyway for responding and remembering such a vivacious soul. Smile, Marty Marrero

  • Which one, in the trailer, is Marrero?

  • Hi, Ralph Marrero played officer Rickles; the overweight army guy that gets his fingers chewed off. Thanks for inquiring, M. Marrero

  • ya he was funny on the golf cart quote "weeee yahoooo" -rickles as he rides the golf cart that was so funny

  • @Deathdealeus1984 you see him looking through the gap of the corral with sarah int the trailer just before bub picks up the salem's lot book. He was a great artist and his death scene still gives me chills when he stops laughing and screams as they tuck into him. gruesome scene and a saving grace of the film. His death really made for a terrifying scene. Romero's later films were lacking a scene like this. Thats why Dawn and day are brilliant.

  • @mpmarrero sorry to hear about your cousin. his death in day of the dead made the film for me. His screams were terrifying and showed tht he was a master in his craft. Every time i see a dead movie, i hope that there is a scene like that but sadly so far i have been let down. His portrayal of Rickles was great, saving grace of the whole film. I still wince when i see that scene and i'm glad Romero and your cousin made it such an iconic scene.

  • @sharkattack78

Thanks sharkattack for your kind words. From what my cousin told me, George is a nice guy. Unlike many other directors. Maybe someday I'll provide talent for George as I have my own license talent agency.

    Best Regards, Marty

  • That was my favorite of the Dead series by George A Romero. I first saw this on VHS when I was 7, been loving it ever since.

  • Wow!!! I thought I was the only kid devastated, yet intrigued by this movie at the age of 6 in 1987. I just saw this movie again last night after 15 years or so from my second viewing.

I am glad I took that much time from seeing it again. It gave me that first time watching it feeling. This is the best movie Romero has ever done. I also like the 1990 remake of Night of The Living Dead.

  • the remake was pretty good, that was the first zombie movie i ever saw actually, day is my favorite tho by far

  • day was my first to its teh only one taht still occanisoly come on tv i saw it on scifi about 5 years ago

  • @Disposition021

Did this movie made you sick as a kid? realistic gore and all

  • This movie was great.

  • Why didn't they let captian Rhodes say

"I'M RUNNIN THIS MONKEY FARM NOW FRANKENSTEIN!!"

  • GREAT!!!!Thanks for posting.

  • lol pretty good!
