great review, it was really helpful. I don't think the plastic in either Convoy or Galvatron from BWII suffer from Gold Plastic Syndrome. Then again it might be too early to tell, but BW Neo Randy already suffer from it and those are much newer than BWII.

@1of3knights No problem. Another BWII figure, SIlverbolt of Magnaboss, suffers from GPS. The wing hinges crack due to the plastics porosity.

I had a Target Exclusive Leo Prime, it's the same mold as the red and blue one just with Lio Convoy's paint job. Awesome.

Good use of kanji. Your pronunciation is a lot better than mine. My image of the kanji is fuzzy but the first kanji is for 100(hyaku) and if the second is beast(Juu) it is ruffly "Lio convoy 100 beast king lion".

I'm going to start collecting the beast convoys, starting with Primal. But I have to get a Scorponok for my sister before i do that.

Have you read the ascending and gathering comics?

I feel so silly for not realising that first symbol was Hyaku! It's got the furigana above so i should 've known...kudos to you for making them out despite the fuzziness!!

I only know a very few of the kanji. I did'nt know Juu meant Beast as well as 10 and Gun! Maybe i should be calling you senpai eh?

@1of3knights Great review on Lio Convoy, I got the Korean version from Ebay Thursday August 25th though the mold for the Japanese Version of Lio Convoy is the same for when the Koreans released their version and I'll be buying my second one from Ebay between September and November.

Transformers video review you do are teirffic, keep it up.

great review. I someday want to get a lio convoy. I do have a couple of the japanese beast wars figures. They released a leo prime here in the states, but it's just a repaint of leo breaker. I've considered getting it, but it's just not the same as the original lio convoy. Keep up the good work.

It bugged me that i could'nt get the body to lock in a bit better but it can be done with some fiddling ;)

It is a brilliant figure though and i hope you can get one sometime!

Great review Dave, the figure is really nice, takara is always one step ahead of hasbro when it comes to quality n detail. Oh n translating the Japanese on the box was was new n refreshing.

It is a nice figure...It'd be alot nicer if only the arms and body clipped together better...oh well, still glad to have it!
