  • you are like.. uhm cute<3

  • damnit will you people stop cutting those onions in here {sniffsniff}

  • @Loofabits bwahahaha NEVER! (insert chopping sounds here)

  • insert ignorant comment here -->

    i hate you

  • <3

  • Remember people there's a difference between sex and gender. Sex, is anatomical and gender, is you're identity in society. You can be male/female or both and identify with the opposite gender. We all need to lose the hang-ups about what's in our pants and which way we identify; the world would be a much nicer place...

  • Hey...do we transfolk ever get a copy of this agenda by the way? Because I'm part of the t in lgbt...technically as a transwoman with a wife I'm in the L part too...and I never got the agenda...did I miss that meeting?

  • @Cuddlessteel I think we both did hun lol.

  • @usaf317 You are not proving your point very well by calling me "less than smart" How do you expect us to believe that you are a self-proclaimed expert on the so-called "homosexual agenda" unless you yourself are gay? Perhaps maybe you pretended to be gay for a day, so that you could try to fully understand what it is like to be gay? Please enlighten us.

  • I like your hair.

  • most of the "hate" comments i see are trying to put things in term of "black and white." they think transgender is only becoming either boy or girl...and although it is for some, it isn't for all. though I am not trans, i do try to educate myself daily. and after several months i have learned that being trans is an umbrella term that cannot specifically define all trans people. so @panthergirl1256 ...obv you don't need more hate but, advice? research about something before you talk about it.

  • Not everyone is ignorant hateful people. I completely support LGBT, and honestly now I'm going to go buy more girl scout cookies then ever before :D

  • It really makes me happy to see the comments on this video. I see so many people saying the things I had hoped I would see people saying: that a person is who they are, and that their body is not what defines that. This growing acceptance makes me happy; maybe someday even I will be able to live as I really am without fear.

  • @HappyHansha And when you get to that day let me know, we will sit and have tea as siblings of the universe n.n

  • Gay or Str8, Christian, Jew or Muslim, Black or White, we are all children of God and all of our lives are precious. Christian's who use their religion as a platform for hate are just as bad as jihadist's who use their religion for insighting war. Christ would never talk the shit that these people do. 'Go now and sin no more. Love one another as I have loved you'... That's the Jesus Christ and Savior I was told existed. How dare you pervert his peaceful, loving nature to exercise your biggotry.

  • Great, great video!!!

  • wonderful! I'm trans myself & I was in the girl scouts when I was younger :)

  • Great every political correct nut case on the planet is crawling out of the woodwork on this one. hey there are plenty of freak shows you can join.

  • You look like my friend Kyler, I love it. But your video is wonderful, I enjoy how much info you are giving.

  • @spoonie500 I almost agree. There is generally to much idle talk in the entire gender 'debate', but this is not:

I think that the gender is a social feature, not a 'hard coded' one.

I also think, that there is a verity of lifestyle and most of them are totally ok. Yet there are people who want to prevent other people from living the way they want. The only way we can change that is by addressing this issue. (Besides that, nobody forces you to watch this vid or to comment, so why did you?)

  • @Mappleconfusers just trollin

  • @spoonie500 I apologize if this is understood in any way other than pure suggestion, however, it really isn't simple. Trans people aren't just choosing on a whim to be trans, it is their identity. I am a woman, born a woman, love wearing dresses and heals and makeup and doing my hair, the whole nine, but if I was born with male anatomy, and expectations to act according to my anatomy, I would never be happy with life. Just remember, equal rights aren't equal until everyone has them.

  • @andreaheckyes Andrea i have to say, i loves this response n.n most f my friends are either Trans Men or Born Women. mostly the later for this very reason, because Women as a whole. (Trans included) tend to be more accepting and open minded. I'm a Trans Woman and proud of it. well of being a woman at least lol i've gotten attacked by people before for being trans. Closed minds don't just hurt those that carry them, but every one around them as well.

  • @spoonie500 exactly

  • @spoonie500 gender isn't defined by what is between your legs, I feel sorry for you, having such a closed minded view of others will make you miss out on so many wonderful people in life.

  • @AlexandriaUrssa yay. and I think you a little wrong there gender is literaly desided by whats between you're legs

  • wow your super pretty :) brains and beauty! :3

  • one of my best friends is gender-queer. mostly male, but not masculine if that makes sense. male pronouns but flexible about expression. attracted to men. he is the best dude and I'm about to watch him come out to like the whole school. :-)

  • Thanks for this video, I enjoyed hearing your perspective :)

  • are they gonna eventually let transgenders work at hooters? that would be shit.

  • @adzez how do you think the 6 year old feels? She can't just shut the whole world out from commenting on her.

  • nicely said :)

  • @HouseMyMy Women's institutions have generally been the most welcoming places for me, trans* men, and other gender variants, as ironic as it sounds. In fact I currently attend a women's college. Also, here are infinite reasons why I would stay in a troop comprised of the friends I'd known my whole life.

  • Comment removed

  • @HouseMyMy Unfortunately, Boy Scouts are quite a bit more prejudiced and unwelcoming than their female counterpart.

    en. wikipedia. org /wiki/Boy_Scouts_of_America_membership_controversies

Edit: Additionally, I'm not sure if the Boy Scouts would consider the OP's gender identity as "male enough" to fit their rules.

  • @HouseMyMy another reason is she would never be accepted into boyscouts. Boyscouts is a religious organization.

  • @HouseMyMy Hypocritical? Maybe in your mind the world might work that black-and-white - "boys go here, girls go there", but other people are more open-minded (educated) to feel comfortable being associated with a group of people whose gender is not their own. I know, that sounds implausible in your narrow little mind, but trust me, such a thing exists. And even if the world worked that way, we're all hypocrites. She/he never even pretended she/he wasn't.

  • @HouseMyMy

"Why didn't you join boy scouts"

You do understand that boy scouts don't permit gays. girls, or godless heathens. To be fair, it's harder for girls to write their name in the snow and use urinals and trees.

There is sea scouts and wing scouts, both are co-ed.

  • Man, you are messed up.

  • shame you don't make much videos...

  • wow. that video made me not want to live on this planet anymore.

i'm glad the organization is more welcoming (as it should be) than this girl is.

the girl obviously does not know the difference between gender and sex.

  • @JebuzLovesDani Nicely said! I just feel sad for her because the video went viral for the whole world to see.

  • I called the Girl Scouts of Colorado Corporate Office to thank them personally for being open minded and all inclusive. They tell me that the best way to support the organization is to buy more Girl Scout cookies. It would be great if everyone expressed their gratitude and called the Colorado office to personally thank them or simply bought more cookies. Thank you.

  • I really like your response! Like others have said, I like that you responded so calmly.

I have a general question. I support the LGBTQ community, but unfortunately, I'm not familiar with a lot of the terms used to describe the members of that community. When you say that you're "queer and transmasculine/genderqueer," what does that mean? I've seen those terms before but I don't know what they mean.

  • @panthergirl1256 A little googling goes a long way, and self education is the purest form of allyship. But if I were to suggest a site, genderqueerid(dot)com is good for the definitions you are seeking.

  • your video was great. Although you should't nor shouldn't anyone else have to explain themselves to idiot girls like the one who masde that ignorant video. GSUSA did right in admitting all people who identify themselves as girls. this year i will go out of my way to purchase every kind of GSUSA cookie there is

  • I normally don't buy girl scout cookies, but I'm going to go out of my way to order every variety this year.

  • just flag that robot mind washed girls video. for hate on gender* simple as a few clicks* :) bleh she looks like a brain washed psycho path :/

    youtube . com/watch?v=Y514LSe8FWk

  • I can wait for the day when all this hatred is gone. When everyone is a person, no matter what they feel is their true self. I hope this doesn't offend, I am trying to word my anger for that "cookie boycotter," but sometimes my thoughts don't come out clear.

  • I like the "cis" ad "trans" chemistry reference! Very eloquent response.

  • An eloquent response to ignorance, thanks for posting this and well done :)

  • Well said. And you did it in less than half the time of the young lady who calls for the boycott. My guess is she is the front for a group of adults with their own agenda, not the safety or well being of girls at all.

  • @lmjacobs Agreed! I'm willing to bet boxes of Thin Mints that she's simply grown up in a prejudiced, uneducated household and doesn't realize that the adults pushing her are wrong.

  • @usaf317 It's unfortunately that you feel that way. I myself realize that this country is a melting pot, not a little exclusive Christian club where nobody else is allowed, and am looking for ways to buy cookies for the first time.

  • @usaf317 What agenda? For equal rights? For bigoted, uneducated people like you to stop treating them like second-class citizens?

Dear Girl Scouts, please sign me up for a truckload.

  • @notwhatitseems just because i dont agree with homosexuality does not mean i am uneducated. there is a homosexual agend all right. they wish to force the rest of us to go along with everything they do....homosexuality is a sickness.

buy as many cookies as you like. i doubt that you will be able to make up for the amount my company USED to purchase.

  • @usaf317 Reading the Bible does not count as education. Because really, we can sit here all day and nitpick it to death to talk about all of the things that it claims are bad that you probably do in your everyday life.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, no?

  • @usaf317 How could you possibly know what the "homosexual agend" is, unless you are yourself a homosexual? And besides, that's not even the topic here.

  • @MsRockDancer wow! yu are less than smart! it is very easy to understand the agenda of these homosexual activists. the topic here goes right along with it. one does not have to be a homosexual to understand how homosexuals wish to change the culture in America.

  • @usaf317 Heaven forbid a culture of acceptance and love take place! Nooo, that would be awful and against everything Jesus taught!

  • well said.

  • I agree completely that children deserve their privacy regarding something so intimate to themselves...

Thank you for your very intelligent and thoughtful commentary. I hope that many people see it!

  • BUY ALL THE GIRLSCOUT COOKIES :D

  • This is probably the best response that could be made in reply to that fool.

  • Speaking from the heart is always better than being a robot spewing hatred...you did a great job!

You spoke with intelligence and grace. If this were a movie, miss boycotter would be cast as the the bad seed, and you would be the heroine!

  • I have to say, I really respect your ability to respond without any type of inflammatory language or anger. Thanks for sharing!

  • Well said...! And I love your hair. <3 I think that girl scout who wants to boycott because they allow tg girls to join has some "special mental troubles".

  • I completely agree with you!

  • What an awesome, educated, mature, and respectful response to such a sad and misguided person. Keep fightin' the good fight.

  • Boycott girl. You have so much regret coming your way.

  • Your video has restored my faith in humanity. Thank you for that.

  • I love you. Thank you for posting this. You kick so much ass.

  • You're darling, and above that, well spoken. Excellent response and thanks for posting this!

  • Very well said; thank you for speaking out! I've personally never bought Girl Scout cookies before, but I definitely will this year. The Girl Scouts will be far better off without the troop leaders who resigned due to their inability to overcome their own bigotry. It's just sad that the little girls in their troops are affected by it.

  • Love it!!! Thanks for being SO courageous!!!

  • You go, girl.. Errr, girl, right? Anyway, the original video is a simple and square case of bullying.

  • First, GS cookies are delicious. NO ONE will stop buying them on her account.

Second, she needs to be able to identify that sex is physical and gender is social. Altho anatomically male, transgender males may identify as females in every other way. She confuses sexuality and gender to make it clear that she and (through a bunch of twisted words) GSA aren't accepting of transG people. She's also incorrectly assuming trans= criminal/deviant behavior. When did anyone's safety become an issue? Ty.

  • Don't get angry and even bother to respond to her, or anyone elses bigoted comments about the Girl Scouts and trans kids. Just do the opposite of what she's asking-- BUY SHIT LOADS OF GIRL SCOUT cookies!

  • We totally support you! If you or anyone else would like to purchase GS Cookies in support of transgender GS and the GLBT Community in general, email us at GLBTcookies@gmail.com also find GLBT Loves Girl Scout Cookies on Facebook

  • Thank you for this instant antidote to Taylor's ignorance.

  • cool - right on

  • yes!

  • I like how you're educating people with facts, and straight honesty. Thank you. :)

  • So good! Yay! You weren't annoying or condescending like even positive response posters can be. It is clear who the nicer and more accepting person is here.

  • second on continuing to purchase Girl Scout cookie's, thank you! fight hate through love closed ears with an open heart and confront bigotry with dialogue! way to go GSUAS - a straight former Boy Scout who takes the "helping other people at all times, and mentally aware" portions of our oath seriously

  • Thank you for presenting to the world all the right POV in just the rights ways. Unforunately, some people want to exclude trans people, period. They claim transgender people want "special" rights, but they really simply don't want them to exist. Look at what happened to Chaz. They didn't want him dancing with a woman. They didn't want him dancing with a man. The ugly truth is there's plenty of hate left. Thankfully, it's dying piece by piece. I'm hoping it starts falling away chunks at a time

  • As a former Girl Scout myself, and as a lesbian activist, I invite you to join my Facebook group groups/occupyequality where transgender, transsexual, genderqueer, gay, lesbian & bisexual activists & allies are uniting worldwide for equality

  • Bravo!

  • Awesome job! And I will definitely be buying Girl Scout cookies from now on!

  • I have spent the last 15 minutes watching the original vid from Lil Miss Christian Wrong who thinks shes Right and others who have responded. I have to tell you, I have never left a comment before and am not personally involved in this issue whatsoever, but your response is so compelling and so well artciculated, I am simply stated IMPRESSED!!! I honestly hope that you are looking as a career choice in the area of journalism or broadcasting! Your response was so simple, yet precise! AWESOME!

  • You're intelligent and gorgeous!

  • You're not only a better speaker than that girl, but you come across as a warm, nice person in your short video. She comes across as a cold bitch.

  • Im still very skeptical about this whole situation, I mean are we supposed to just step aside and accept this? Of course I am talking about the womans hair color. Are we to believe that that is her natural hair color!? Hair isn't purple! Whats up with that?

  • I know a troop with a transgender person. You know what it has done to that group? Nothing. That's right... nothing happened. The boycott is silly.

    This is a nice video.

  • Young girls should be taught tolerance and acceptance of others. It's ridiculous to suggest transgendered kids would be a 'danger' to others. Kids are kids, and more often than not, it's the adult agenda that gets in the way rather than other kids feeling 'uncomfortable' or threatened. I'll certainly be buying extra girl scout cookies this year.

  • This video is awesome! I am buying more cookies now than ever in support of Girl Scouts teaching scouting to everyone!!!!!! Share this video :)

  • bravo. i will order extra cookies. fuck that girl. plus thin mints are delicious.

  • thank you so much for doing this! wonderful job. :)

  • lol, I was a girlscout for 12 1/2 years and I came out as a trans guy :) That'll throw her for a loop

  • @AidenKristopher Totally. I'd like to have a honest and courageous chat with her about what it means to be a sister to every girlscout.

  • She sounds exactly like a stereotypical bitchy brat would sound in those crazy teen movies. It's so weird cause she just looks and sounds exactly like what you would expect someone with those values to sound.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • I would buy twice as much girl scout cookies If I lived in the USA . I fully support an organization that is accepting of trans girls! I just hope that one day this girl will encounter a trans individual and hear their story. Maybe one day she will realize how hateful and oppressive her stance is.

  • Fun activity! Listen to Taylor's lament one more time substituting the word "transgender" with your choice of "black" or "jewish". Fun for the whole family!

  • Well do on this video! My comes off for you

  • check out the honestgirlscouts webpage, they are exploiting public discomfort with transgendered people to draw attention to their cause, which is actually primarily anti-reproductive rights. Trans people aren't even mentioned in their mission statement.

  • Really well-stated! Excellent response.

  • Good job on this video, I was in the boy scouts and did not let my sexuality be known but being male it wasnt a problem. I can only imagine what a trans person would feel in ways of this situation. My wife wished she could have been in the boy scouts because the did more of what she wanted than what the girl scouts did. it saddens me to no end that people can still be close minded about these issues. the fact comments are disabled shows she is not open to what others think. good job

  • Great response to the video. Was confused by your title, seemed like it was saying you were trans. Then you said something about going through a gender identity change when you were in girl scouts? Did that just revert or something? I am so confused lol.

  • @ExperimentsInSound She is transgender, but you don't have to be transsexual to be transgender. She's chosen to still be called a "she" and still look pretty much like a girl with no surgeries or treatments. Transgender simply means she identifies as a boy mentally instead of a girl.

  • Thank you for that! Very articulate.

  • Favorite quote: "queer & trans people have identities that are just as valid as anyone else" Nice video! Thanks for trying to educate. I hope this girl watched and really listens to your response.

  • I think the fact that the original video had to disable comments due to the overwhelmingly negative response is a good sign for the social health of America. Looks like it really does get better.

  • Don't ever let that other girl's misunderstandings and presumptions get to you. You gotta admit, this country has come a long way. I think we're still heading in the right direction though, despite there still being some bumps in the road.

Thanks for making the vid! It's a relief after watching that girl's message.

  • "i am a queer" end quote

  • Thanks for making the vid. Thumbs up up up!

  • Good for you! Thanks for posting!

  • Thank you for posting this. You rock. Let's work together to spread equality and understanding.

  • Props to you for stating your stance so calmly and politely - I absolutely agree, and I'm proud of the GSUSA for remaining fair and respectful of everyone who wishes to join. Also, you are beautiful. =]

  • Awesome :]

  • oh my,I couldn't even finish the boycott video before I looked down and saw a link to this, I must say thank you very much for just getting out there and saying what SHOULD have been said. frankly I feel that the other video was more of an attack because she was insecure with that fact..I must thank you DEEPLY for the fact that you stated (I'm not going to quote because that'd take too long) about them not needing to know if there are trans that are in girl scouts. it simply isn't their business

  • I agree with all of your points, and you responded to her video in a very respectful way. Very admirable!

  • Thank you for speaking on this. Short and to the point. I'd like to know where the premise originates insinuating trans children will be a safety hazard? Does this young lady realize how many AIS females have been Girl Scouts (chromosomal males)? So sad that children like her have chosen to not educate themselves on this and become purveyors of ignorance.

  • Nice words and thoughts, thank you!!

BTW: lol @ "thanks, I made them myself" Awesome!

  • You're cool, your hair is awesome and the cookie boycotting girl is an idiot. End of story.

  • @indimcmathz you used "you're" and "your" properly in the SAME sentence. you give me hope for humanity. i love you.

  • Well said. And what fine teeth.

  • @sheldonmosbeck thanks, I made them myself
