What Mel Brown said was wrong, but screaming abuse is also wrong. If you want people to get rid of racisim then you must conduct yourself with DIGNITY as Nicky Winmar did when he raised his jumper at Victoria Park. I barrack for Collingwood and was there that day. I am ashamed of the way some of us acted,but I am glad it happend. It began a new relationship between Collingwood and the WHOLE community not just certain parts of it. Winmar is our Curse or our Redemption. It depends on how we act!
