well a 120,000 dollar car did good compared to a frekin 2mill dep on type koenigsegg for the preformance and price i think id did great plus the driver in the zr1 sucked.
I hate all the chevy guys saying the ZR1 is super car status. It isn't, and I think this proves it. On top of that, the new vettes are very unpredictable in the turns.

Ultimate Aero ssc would smoke the Koenigsegg so the Vette is not the best American made car. Plus if you spend some money on the Vette it will become alot faster than the Koenigsegg! So if you think a little better America still wins.

The new Agera R is the fastest accelerating car in the world, it does 0-200mph in 17seconds which is faster the the AWD 1200hp Veyron by a huge 5seconds and has a top speed of 264mph(up-hill) which is 10mph faster than the SSC. Koenigsegg is the true king of Speed

Mr.Koenigsegg stop using the Ford engine as it was pathetically under-powered for the huge performance numbers he wanted to achive. Mr.Koenigsegg went back to the drawing board and created his own V8 that is still been twiqued by his company to this day.
The Ford engine was only achiving 500hp he tuned it to 603hp and still was not happy, so now he has his own making 1115hp in the Agera R.

I prefer driving a car that's refined, has character and is an absolute joy to drive in a day to day basis, not a rocket ship. A 2000HP street dragster is not something enjoyable to drive on twisting roads or even on a circuit like Laguna Seca. You can't always win with a rocket launcher, sometimes you need to bring out the knife.

Ultimate Aero ssc would smoke the Koenigsegg so the Vette is not the best American made car. Plus if you spend some money on the Vette it will become alot faster than the Koenigsegg! So if you think a little better America still wins.

The new Agera R is the fastest accelerating car in the world, it does 0-200mph in 17seconds which is faster the the AWD 1200hp Veyron by a huge 5seconds and has a top speed of 264mph(up-hill) which is 10mph faster than the SSC. Koenigsegg is the true king of Speed

Mr.Koenigsegg stop using the Ford engine as it was pathetically under-powered for the huge performance numbers he wanted to achive. Mr.Koenigsegg went back to the drawing board and created his own V8 that is still been twiqued by his company to this day.
The Ford engine was only achiving 500hp he tuned it to 603hp and still was not happy, so now he has his own making 1115hp in the Agera R.

if you are going to a gun fight....bring a bazooka. racing against a car that cost a million bucks against a car that cost 1 tenth is not fair. comparing apples to oranges. zr1 are affordable to some americans..koenigsegg is not affordable to 99.9% of the worlds population. its not all that. i think it is a rip off and it is not refined. a 1500hp zr1 along with all it's high tech engineering is a much smarter purchase. i bet you lose 800,000 on koenigsegg resale easy.

to see what kind of power can be made with the american pushrod cam in block v8 check out nelson racing engines in youtube. he has streetable cars making over 2000hp. the only limiting factor is traction...at any speed. americans should be some all wheel drive corvettes at a limited edition basis for those who want to eliminate the disadvantage they have against some other european junk. all wheel drive 2000hp zr1.... now your talking.

And? There's no point tuning a car with that much power, it just ends up being completely ruined by power.
I prefer driving a car that's refined, has character and is an absolute joy to drive in a day to day basis, not a rocket ship. A 2000HP street dragster is not something enjoyable to drive on twisting roads or even on a circuit like Laguna Seca. You can't always win with a rocket launcher, sometimes you need to bring out the knife.

send the zr1 to lingenfelter for a few grand and come back and blow that piece of crap off the track. koenigsegg??? knenigEGG! over priced piece of crap. guess only euopeans can build fast cars. slap in the face to all americans. koenigsegg is a totally modified custom made car for almost a million bucks. have the vette tuned for 1500 hp and then come back to race. You can have the vette done for about 200k. still chump change compared to that garbage can fooneyegg.

They should race on a track.. ohh wait, who would want to do that with a 700k car. These hyper cars are badass, but honestly they aren't very practical. So, I would rather have a zr1 that I could actually drive.
