DKC2 and 3 were major improvements to the original, both which I equally adore over DKC1.

If you think this game is hard, then you clearly haven't discovered the Lost World in the other 2 sequels :)

I disagree. Yes, DKC2 is an improvement over DKC (though both are incredible masterpieces), but DKC3 is the weakest entry of the original trilogy.

I wanna say something, I bought this game not knowing what to expect because I didn't watch any reviews on it, I hadn't even heard of it. But I loved dk64, and it looked cool so I downloaded it, and i can safely say that sure was the right desition, I LOVE THIS GAME

It's the easiest of the trilogy, finding secrets may be challenging but at least they count by the time you enter those bonus rooms. Unlike DKC2 and DKC3, you have to find AND complete the minigames, along with other collectables such as DK coins which also add to the difficulty. In order of difficulty, DKC2 is the most challenging in my opinion, followed by DKC3 by being lengthy, and then DKC1.

Now that you metion it King K Rool is the good guy in this game. Donkey kong being the greedy prick that he is, wanted to be evil like Cranky (insert DK arcade reference here) so he stole all the bananas and King krool stole them back and gave them to his minions on the island to share around but DK of course being the prick that he is beat them up and toke the bananas back so he and diddy can have then all to themselves. This was the only DK I could finish DK2 was just insanely hard. I'm still stuck on that ice level near the end of the game and it took me awhile just to finish the rising floor level in that castle. Its still my favorite in the series though. The music just kicks ass.
