They both deserved to win :) they're both amazing singers and have amazing fans who love them for who they r. I am a fan of Adam it would have been nice to c him win but I'm totally cool with Kris winning :) it's all about trying and not letting others tell u how to be Adam isn't shy of doing things onstage even if it's something wrong and he doesn't apologize because he's just being himself. People need to stop arguing about who should have won it's over and people need to move on I know Adam
So surreal to go back and watch this again and to see what has happened since. Adam is riding his rocketship to stardom, remains as humble and nice as he always was despite those who would say otherwise. Idol was just his platform and he has spread his wings and really flown. Jim Cantiello from MTV said a reporter fainted. As much as i like Kris and the whole Kradam thing its absolutely RIDICULOUS that Kris won. you mean to tell me out of 10,000 auditioners he's the best singer and performer? get outta here. Must be why Adam is selling 3 times as many cds as Kris.

Please check your facts before you try and correct anyone. Kris dropped from Billboard's top 50 albums after the 2nd week his album was out. Adam has never gone lower than top 30 and hes outselling Rihanna and Shakira's cd sales. i really like Kris but Adam is the star in this equation.

I have thought about that too. I spoke to several people who saw the Idol tour in different States, and each one said that the atmosphere, excitement level and appause was always far greater for Adam.

I agree, no need to get pissy about it... It's not the first time America has gotten it wrong. (MY opinion...). Don't get me wrong, Kris is a wonderful performer too. I knew Kris was going to be the winner. So I was pissed but I was able to sit through it and be amused. Kris even knew Adam deserved it which is the real reason he impulsively said what he said. No other winner of AI has ever made that statement when they won. And Adam wouldn't have said Kris deserved it if he had won. This was a song contest. There is no good or evil here. Kris may have won American Idol but he'll never be as big as Adam Lambert who, by the way, was very gracious. The guys like and respect one another. Too bad your mind is so warped.

2) The evil I'm referring to here is the AI producers and judges who had already pre-determined who they wanted in the finale by pimping Adam and Danny to the max even though they don't deserve it at all. Well, isn't it too bad that the judges can judge who the real talent is, yet you wish to label them as evil.. Kris got Gokey's vote after he was voted off - that's what got him the title.
No sweat, Adam is doing just fine. I feel sorry for Kris, as he has to follow Adam, on tour. It just does not happen for him. It's such a let-down after Adam.

I did my best to never miss an episode. Don't assume please. I heard Adam as a great singer incredible range nice song intrepreratoons, but I never not once felt the connection Danny or Kris had with the audience. Adam was almost like Allison who wAs an incredible singer but was even told by the judges that she needed to be "more likable" SHE couldn't connect with the audience PERIOD.the judges knew that.adams performances were cool/amazing but never beneficial to the audience.
With all respects being Adam even said on an episode one of the songs he had sung was NOT for everyone. He said it himself , his audience wasn't his main concern. He was cool a nice guy. Great performer. But I felt him a weak artist. Alan was by far better. Bottom line America saw what I saw andthats why Kris won!!

I never watch AI either, but after the fuss over Adam's loss, I started looking up stuff on UTube. Adam has Kris beat by a mile. (Or a kilometer, as we are now forced to say in Canada :) Kris is just nice and BLAND!. Adam rocks, has charisma, personality & stage presence. I don't know how he lost, but it's for the best. Kris is a slave to AI, but Adam will be a free agent once the tour is over. And he won't have to do that god-awful song the one of the judges wrote.

I have thought about that too. I spoke to several people who saw the Idol tour in different States, and each one said that the atmosphere, excitement level and appause was always far greater for Adam.

Americans (or at least the people who phone in on this crap) are tone deaf. There was no competition. Kris sounds like my cousin singing in his high school musical. Adam Lambert is the only contestant on this show that has ever made it worthy of anyone's time. The funny part about it is that Kris obviously feels ashamed and admits that he's undeserving. I love that Simon doesn't even move. No wonder his face never appears. He was probably outraged like the rest of us.

Im an Adam fan and proud of it like many people. I wont go on n on about about Adam not winning. But what I think happened was, more "Kris fans" took the effort to vote, Adam fans probly thought he had it and didnt try to vote or couldnt get through. More votes to Adam means cant get thru to vote more. Thats my understanding. Wherever u go, it seems MORE fans are crazy for Adam. So it wasnt that Kris had more fans. I knew Kris was going to be the winner. So I was pissed but I was able to sit through it and be amused. Kris even knew Adam deserved it which is the real reason he impulsively said what he said. No other winner of AI has ever made that statement when they won. And Adam wouldn't have said Kris deserved it if he had won. Kris is just not on Adam's level talentwise and this outcome to this day irritates me.

you know, i really couldnt stand Kris after this especially cuz of his reaction to the win. he didnt seem happy or emotional or anything. he was just there. I cried a ton cuz Adam lost. but Kris is such a good guy, and after watching all the vids of him with Adam im just so in love with Kradam and think that he's an amazing example for a lot of Christians out there. i think a lot of Christians should take his lead and be accepting of everyone. oh and Kris is definitely the best musician to win.

2) The evil I'm referring to here is the AI producers and judges who had already pre-determined who they wanted in the finale by pimping Adam and Danny to the max even though they don't deserve it at all. Nevertheless, Kris's talent eventually helped him to gain the title, therefore justice prevails.

No sweat, Adam is doing just fine. I feel sorry for Kris, as he has to follow Adam, on tour. It just does not happen for him. It's such a let-down after Adam.

American Idol is really supposed to be for people who havent had singing experince before, and Adam did. It does GREAT music and he has a GREAT voice. His version (especially the studio version) alone validates him winning American Idol. I did my best to never miss an episode. Don't assume please. I heard Adam as a great singer incredible range nice song intrepreratoons, but I never not once felt the connection Danny or Kris had with the audience. Adam was almost like Allison who wAs an incredible singer but was even told by the judges that she needed to be "more likable" SHE couldn't connect with the audience PERIOD.the judges knew that.adams performances were cool/amazing but never beneficial to the audience.

I never watch AI either, but after the fuss over Adam's loss, I started looking up stuff on UTube. Adam has Kris beat by a mile. (Or a kilometer, as we are now forced to say in Canada :) Kris is just nice and BLAND!. Adam rocks, has charisma, personality & stage presence. I don't know how he lost, but it's for the best. Kris is a slave to AI, but Adam will be a free agent once the tour is over. And he won't have to do that god-awful song the one of the judges wrote.

Ppl were allowed to vote 20 per phone line, cell phones, and online, so there were plenty of room to wiggle votes around. Last two seasons, the voting is kind of screwed up and messed with. Can't really
