DO THE MATH , A SYSTEM SO COMPLEX AS EVEN A BACTERIAL MOTOR WOULD TAKE TO LONG TO EVOLVE IN COMPARISON TO THE AGE OF EARTH . A SYMBIOTIC ASSEMBLY SUCH AS A HUMAN COULDN'T HAVE EVOLVED IN THE SIXTY MILLION YEARS WE ATTRIBUTE . IT'S ACTUALLY FOOLISH TO ACCEPT EVOLUTION, BECAUSE NON OF IT ADDS UP TO THE INTRICATE LIFE HERE .
@setmedic - Most cancer cases are caused by man made poisons. Such as fluoridated water/toothpaste. Mercury/formaldehyde and aspartame in vaccines and medications etc.
Surah 54, Ayah 49 "Verily, all things have we created in proportion and measure (perfection)." - Quran,
("And thy Lord taught the Bee to build its cells in hills, on trees, and in (men's) habitations; *Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought") (16: 68, 69).
@anasiaj - So why do you have to have your hair shaved when you are born if you are perfect?! And why do you have to be circumcised if you were created perfect?! Isn't that correcting God's mistakes? Which is blasphemy.
some things have evolved and some things have had scientific help along the way. and some things have been manipulated or biologically engineered or even cross bred with other organisms either by choice or accident or selectively
For excellent analysis of the Bible try John W. Loftus, Robert M. Price, Dan Barker, Valerie Tarico, David Mills, Bart Ehrman. For a good grounding in the facts and theory of evolution try Richard Dawkins, "The ancestor's tale", "The Blind watchmaker", "Climbing mount improbable", also youtube videos with Peter Atkins, Ken Miller, Daniel Dennett, Victor J, Stenger

Darwin himself claimed, "If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possible have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down." He also claimed any proven symbiotic relationships would "annihilate" his theory, and many such relationships indeed exist. If Darwin were living today he most likely would doubt his own theory. He would be shocked at what his theory has become.
@BachScholar Flagellum is catch 22 for Christianity. If you say it had to be designed then you say God deliberately created the bacteria which cause so much misery & suffering, also God never told anyone the cure, Jesus never either, in fact he said don't bother washing hands before eating (Mark7). If you say well flagellum could evolve after the fall, then everything else could evolve since it is very complex so the Bible is proven false. If there is a good god then everyone will go to heaven.
@zytigon - Jesus does the Jewish ritual hand washing - therefore he does not state not to wash ones hands.
Also, you have millions of bacteria in your mouth that clean your teeth. If they weren't there, the food you eat would rot your teeth. Everything has a purpose. Minor illnesses exist to strengthen the immune system for example.
@TalmudTommy Ok, it could be Jesus washed hands but he didn't reveal any knowledge of germ theory. Try reading about oral ecology and oral microbiology. The bacteria on your teeth don't help prevent food rotting your teeth. Quite the reverse, when they feed on food they produce acid which etches at tooth enamel. You should brush twice a day with flouride toothpaste. The flouride strengthens enamel. A clean mouth has under 1,000,000 bacteria but uncleaned have billions
@zytigon - During those times it would have gone on deaf, superstitious ears. And there is nothing to suggest he didn't mention such. We only have religious history to go on so we cannot be sure, just like we cannot be sure of his actual existence.
Yes it produces acid, which is removed by gentle teeth cleaning.
Fluoride toothpaste causes tooth mottling. And fluoride in the water as is the way in England, causes dental fluorosis and is also brain damaging. Fluoride is dangerous.
@TalmudTommy The things you write make you sound like you are inspired by a god. However back in the real world dosage is very important. Too little or too much both can cause harm. In 1900ish people in Colorado valley were found to have zero tooth decay but also mottling on teeth- due to high flouride in water. You are supposed to not eat toothpaste. Ideally leave half hour between meal and brushing. There are dental health reasons infavour of adding Flouride to water & cons
@zytigon - So basically you admit that fluoride is dangerous and rots ones teeth. But then you go on to state that it is a matter of dosage?! What utter nonsense. Regardless of dosage it remains dangerous. Everytime we brush our teeth we swallow some of the toothpaste, regardless of how well we rinse. And if it is in the water we drink it. And when we heat water for hot drinks, cooking or baths (as it can soak in through the pores) the fluoride becomes stronger thus causing even
@zytigon - more damage to both the teeth and body. It should be a matter of personal choice and the public should be aware of the risks. If they still decide to use it even after knowing the risks then so be it. We have health warnings for cigarettes, why not even more dangerous substances such as fluoride?!
Lastly, my comment shows no inspiration from religious belief or God at all. In fact I openly state we cannot be sure of the existence of Jesus. I however am agnostic.
@TalmudTommy I was teasing you about God. Flouride strengthens tooth enamel, it doesn't cause rot. I think everything is about balance of risks. Look at risk of decay from sugar. Choice yes but Flouride in water could help children who haven't been taught to brush teeth. Anorexia is bad for health as is obesity. Moderate excercise is good for both bones & flesh but too much can wear out joints, stress skeleton & in extreme can damage muscle- cause heart attack. . 40C or 0 C could kill people
@zytigon - Fluoride in water doesn't have any effect on teeth whatsoever. In fact the only effect it does have is in causing serious health problems and defects. In children, fluoridated toothpaste damages the tooth forming cells and causes defects in the enamel known as dental fluorosis. And the type of fluoride found in the water supply is a toxic waste product from phosphate fertizer pollution scubbers. It contains poisons such as arsenic, beryllium, mercury, lead and many more.
@zytigon - And fluoride was used in the USSR to keep prisoners in the camp docile. It was so successful that the Nazi's copied it in their camps. There is no health reason for adding fluoride to water, or to toothpaste, the only reason to have it is to control the people and to stop them from rising up against evil.
@TheQuestionablyevil The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Pslam 14:1-3
I can quote stories too. Where do you get your videos? They are very interesting, if it wasn't for the massive jumps in reasoning. Lots of good facts, then assertions with no supporting evidence.
@TheQuestionablyevil You cannot understand because you are spiritually dead and love darkness.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1Corinthians 2:14
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:19
@TheQuestionablyevil - Evolution and the big bang theory are based on superstition too. They have not and cannot be proven. The entire theory is based upon a series of coincidences.
To believe that an intelligent designer created something so complex is no more a leap of faith than to believe that these things just appeared one day, for no reason. How is a Creator more unbelievable than "poof! here i am, rock you like a hurricane?" I'm having a hard time with all of this myself, which is why I'm watching these videos. Christianity doesn't make it easy, but neither do any of the other beliefs or non beliefs.
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10,11
@MrBombsniffer You cannot understand because you are spiritually dead and according to the Bible love darkness.
John 3:19
@MrBombsniffer The Bible says God always existed, but no one can really understands that concept, even Christians. Better to understand the free gift of God by faith in Jesus Christ so that when you die you will be able to ask God in heaven.
@SpellboundSolution All evolutionists have is hot air on the mostly anonymous Internet. We have the real science backed up by the $10,000 Life Science Prize. You can evolve from a chicken and win the prize or make cowardly remarks on websites until you ultimately die and become a creationists after it's too late. My last remark to you is something that everyone understands: CLUCK, CLUCK
darwin didn't have the microscopes that we have today. if he was able to view the complexities of a cell and its organelles, he would of thrown his theory out the window. a cell that has a motor? go ask your local car mechanic if he thinks a motor could assemble itself and see what he has to say. the eukaryotic cell is ridiculously more complex than a vehicle motor.

@RockPaperDynamite I have said the same about telescopes. They just upgraded Hubble which increases it's power by 50 to 100 times. Now there will be coming a flurry of written articles (science fiction) trying to explain what they are seeing. Evolutionists need to stay with real science and cease the bait and switch technique used by sleazy sales men.
@BereanBeacon1 "Now there will be coming a flurry of written articles (science fiction) trying to explain what they are seeing. "
Ofcourse. . . because you people don't care about reality. . . as you say even if they observe it (which is more then can be said for your god) you still call it science fiction.
You're living in lala land and you've just admitted it.
It's amazing that these guys think that ID is a valid hypothesis. If you want your ideas to be taken serious, do what scientists do. Research and test, submit your findings to other scientists for verification. Then when your hypothesis has been retested and confirmed by others, then we can start the debate. But no, your not interested in facts and scientific methods.
@baldurus1 Creationists are very interested in real science, not science fiction.
All evolutionists have is hot air on the mostly anonymous Internet. We have the real science backed up by the $10,000 Life Science Prize. @BereanBeacon1 Thats not how evolution works, no wonder you don't believe in it. I wouldn't either if i thought evolution worked the way you do. I also have a 10,000$ prize for you. You have two options, 1. show any evidence FOR inteligent design(testable and observable) 2. show any evidence against evolution. Let me just say that no one has EVER been able to provide proof for ID or proof against evolution theory, will you be the first?
@BereanBeacon1 Instead of continually challenging the people that understand biology to a contest held in a forum specifically not designed for science, why not challenge the creationists to take their evidences into the actual scientific arena?
Do you think creationists are too scared to try real science in the forum where real science is done? Because what you're doing now is comparable to issuing a biker build-off challenge and holding it in an emergency room.
Oh dear...outdated. The bacterial flagellum has been proven to be an evolution of the Type 3 Secretory Apparatus, using only 10 of the 50 proteins in the flagellum. Irreducible complexity has been falsified. Phillip Johnson admitted ID was a hoax to circumvent US laws against teaching creationism in science classes. Case closed.
@Atalatl Come on out of the hen house and present your info in The Life Science Project. It should very simple to destroy us with the world watching. Cluck, cluck.
@BereanBeacon1 See the video:"Ken Miller talks about the bacterial flagellum" by Kurpalac. You will doubtless be unpleasantly surprised. Miller is a cell biologist and one of the most distinguished educators in the world.
Phillip Johnson: "Our strategy has been to change the subject a bit so that we can get the issue of intelligent design, which really means the reality of God, before the academic world and into the schools." (American Family Radio, Jan 10, 2003)
The structure and function of the single cell does not at all align with evolution. Evolution also does not align with the 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics. There is not one shred of evidence that evolution has occurred. Any evidence for evolution is merely conjecture or imagination. You even see there examples of transitional forms of life are only artists renditions. Why even their fossil evidence are pieces of artwork. See the story "The Emperor's New Clothes" They are living a lie
It is incredibly funny to see the twisting and turning that evolutionists go through when confronted with absolute evidence for a young earth. They even go to the "alien explanation" at times. I have discerned that the age of the earth is the "key log". And that is where Satan fights the hardest. "Millions of years" are taught to even kindergarten students. Satan understands how the human mind works and he is master manipulator. The Word of God can however wash one's mind clean of his filth
ww w .icr .or g/article/5779/ << Here is a great article that shows after experimental attempts to force evolution upon a species (20 years and 40,000 generations for bacteria, 600 generations for fruit flies) that no evolution could be shown. Also, any changes were found to be detrimental and did not remain fixed in the species. This fixity is something that is absolutely needed for evolution to occur. Instead what was found is what creationist have known for years. Simple variation
Dr. Etheridge, famous fossilologist of the British Museum, one of the highest authorities in the world, said:--"Nine-tenths of the talk of evolutionists is sheer nonsense, not founded on observation and wholly unsupported by facts. This museum is full of proofs of the utter falsity of their views. In all this great museum, there is not a particle of evidence of the transmutation of species.
As far as I know the dare consist on originate a flagellum means mutations induction and selection. Apparently the evolutionists have only bla, bla, bla, bla, bla... zero results. this should be disgraceful for National Academy of Science of USA. The fundamentalists: 1 / NAS: 0.
@GronTheMighty Mr. Mighty, be the hero for evolution and come to The Life Science Prize and present your "facts" in an open forum. It will provide you the opprounity to get out of the hen house for awhile. Can you say, cluck, cluck?
@thechessstick No, spontaneous generation seems to be something you have misunderstood the meaning of then if you think evolutionary theory leads to it.
It originally postulated that flies spawned from raw meat with no prior contact to flies, spontaneously, whilst in fact it turned out that only meat that had previously been visited by flies that laid eggs in it would actually generate larvae.
Now, evolutionary theory might lead us to abiogenesis some day, i don't know, we'll have to wait.
@GronTheMighty I really don't need a 5th grade lesson on spontaneous generation. And evolution must at its roots have several spontaneous generation moments. The single cell must somehow have just come about from mere matter. And also the big bang ultimately is something from nothing. What a bunch of suckers evolutionists are to believe such things.
@GronTheMighty No I mean as opposed to believing in God Almighty. And are you saying that variation still happens? Good observation. Let me give you a smiley face!! :)
Can we just stop with letting Bible bashers in front of cameras? The fact that science can't fully explain this yet doesn't mean it won't in future. Richard Dawkins puts it fantastically when he describes god as the god of gaps, anything currently unexplained by science (a gap) is (poorly) attributed to god. As science expands god will run out of hiding places, and whilst I doubt this will be the day we can finally flush god from our systems, it will be one less refuge for his supporters.
@Massacrist The very problem is that although science has found evolution to be possible though viruses and bacteria it's still stumbled by change of species as referred to by Dawkins and Darwin as being possible at all.
The idea of fused chromosomes are a probability which does NOT make it correct in saying its fact as it also has the probability of being incorrect. Also it's harder to prove its probability as being anything but nonsense as is highly unlikely as opposed to being likely
@Massacrist Imagine scientist climbing that final mountain only to find that creationist have been there all along! LOL. Isn't that what Einstein thought would happen?
@thechessstick Imagine is they key word in your example. And wasn't Einstein's take on god that Science was god? I forget, must read up again. Sorry for the late reply, youtube is great at not telling me when I've got a response.
@thechessstick "It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." - Albert Einstein
bactirea didn't just evolve one day with flagellum and capsules and peptidaglycan layers all at once, very few Archea have flagellum and they are considered the closest example to ancient bacteria. its pritty clear they didnt just sprout up out of inorganic material with all this stuff attached to them and decided they didnt want to evolve anymore thats not how it works.
"If you don't understand how something works, never mind: just give up and say God did it. You don't know how the nerve impulse works? Good! You don't understand how memories are laid down in the brain? Excellent! Is photosynthesis a bafflingly complex process? Wonderful! Please don't go to work on theproblem, just give up, and appeal to God."
-Richard Dawkins
The God Delusion
ps. This video looks like it was produced in 1983. There have been significant scientific advances since.
@pasdfeeee no, when you come to compassion there is no explainable solution as to why we have this emotion. You never saw Amoeba B go and help Amoeba A. Even though our brain capacities got bigger, there is no mathamatical or scientific law thats says we can just come up with a new action or emotion.
@pasdfeeee Dawkins believes that over a time chemicals and spores etc began an unprovoked movement in order for things to eventually evolve. You believe this rubbish? There cant be reaction without a first action, what started the first action? This goes against science. Also as we know evolution to be possible in bacteria and viruses etc its a leap of faith to suggest ape=human or even species mutation as this also goes against science. Darwin and dawkins are dreamers! Not scientists.
@CesarPhilosophe Furthermore, no one yet knows what they actually look like just stop right there.Let me get my boot's on please before i comment i might need them. One thing i do know is they have microscopes so don't tell me they don't know what they look like. You just make everything you say garbage with replies as that.I'm sure we could say hey we havent disected one maybe but we know what they look like.
I can't believe people still think that the bacterial flagellum is still a viable argument for intelligent design. The Flagellum has been demonstrated without doubt to not be irreducibly complex. The Dover trial really showed the weakness of this argument, and how the intelligent design movement is a complete argument from ignorance. What most people fail to realize is that nothing in modern biology makes sense without the evolutionary theory. Applications from evolution are found everywhere!!
@Nocturne187 actually it was demonstrated that a bacterial falgellum missing 40 of its 50 parts becomes a Type-III secretory system, perfectly working
@Nocturne187 Y r u surprised. Michael Behe claimed that science will never come up with an answer for the evolution of the immune system. He was presented with 58 peer reviewed publications, 9 books and several other text books in the dover trial on how the immune system evolved. He said it still wasn't sufficient.
Evolutionists are the experts in Hollywood productions promoting it's religion. Check out Flagellum on Wiki for their illustrations. Flagellum is just another example of God's creatures that is way too complicated for a random process.
@meadowsirl You would think the author's of this video would have us just put our hands up and say "we give up: it's too hard a problem to figure out, so therefore an invisible being who is all-knowing and all-powerful, made it all up. This being sure seems a hell of a lot more complicated than the flagellum motor!
or, i see what happened, i looked at teh evidence, i study evolution adn i can simply infer design, its not only mindless creationists that have an argument, there are those of us who are not bound to any religion but still refute evolution ii its current form...
Why is a geological engineer commenting on microbiology? He doesn't work with nor research anything like the subject material. It's just his faith speaking, which is useless in a scientific context.
@aeyeth You are so wrong. Your creator loves you anyhow. There is no science without God. Oh well, believe what you want, and hate what you want, we can't be your psychologist.
Please don't refer to anything supernatural as 'my creator'. I have no creator but my genome, and the genomes of my ancestors, and the natural selection that shaped them, in a beautiful and natural process that creationists wish to dismiss.
@aeyeth I'll say whatever I like, especially because it's the truth. You were created by your Creator. He created your DNA. He loves you. He died for you. I'm not sure what's happened to you that has made you hate him and his followers so much. I assure you he sympathizes as do I. I hope things get better for you and that you can one day experience his Love. God Bless You.
unfortunatly its misinformed people like you that cause wars, im not saying you should not belvie what you want, but the whole story of jesus is simpl ya re hash of previous saviours of other reliigions, its an astrologcal allegory, wake up, you dont need to serve a book!!!!
Ok lets just say that all logical thought and theories of science were faulted and incorrect as this video would have you believe; if the creation deity was real. Now I have a question, who created the deity; if there is an infinity of creation then what is the reason and why did it create us with freewill so we so we would have to choose to worship them and do their bidding. I dont want a megalomania ruler to be my god.
Why do creationists attempt to use science? They don't belive it and they always fail dismally when they try and use it. Modern single celled organisims are the result of 4 billion years of evolution, the "motor" did not just spontaneously spring into being, it evolved from simpler structures.
One star. Watch a real scientific explaination of abiogenisis => watch?v=U6QYDdgP9eg
There may be a god that created a design on how life is created and formed, but thinking that he sent his only son to this planet to die for our sins so we have a chance of going o heaven is so egotistical and self-centered of the human nature.
@theojoe81 Jesus loves you. Your argument makes no sense. Knowing that God loves us is not egotistical at all. You clearly have no concept of true unconditional love. It's the type of Love God has for you and it's precisely why he died for you. Jesus (God) loves you.
Ur comment : "Theories should not be percieved as fact ... without conclusive proof" shows u do not know the definition of a scientific theory. A theory can NEVER be proven.
It MUST be potentially falsifiable and MUST produce a vast number of predictions, that MUST hold true when tested.
The more predictions that hold true, the more we can rely on the theory.
Evidence contradicting predictions, destroys the theory. After 150 YEARS that STILL hasn't happened with the Theory of Evolution
Sorry, but irreducible complexity has been disproven thus far. Creationist need to try, try again...and again...and again. Science has knocked down everything you have...
Life is first engineered, then over time it subsequently evolves a little. But the amount of addition of function that takes place during the subsequent evolution is either negligibly positive, or in most cases, negative. Evolution in general, causes the loss of existing function. Not the gain of new function. And where you do seem to see a gain of a new function, is mostly where there is an already existing function which does a very similar thing, for example the EBG or nylonase genes.
The logical outgrowth of darkened thinking by the unregenerate sons of Satan.
"For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures."
@frankenshank keep up your faithfull remarks...these blasphemers won't believe YHWH exists even if they looked straight at any wonderously created miracle...theyll just keep saying .......it happend or evolved from thin air with a little bang in (wonder how that bang they keep referring to happened) but soon they will start trembling cos .....many strange disasters is starting to happen!!!!
Is the fight really between the religious & the non-religious? Isn't about finding the truth - whatever that might be. I agree, there is a lot of religious fanatics that don't use scientific backing to argue their case. I don't stand with those. But I do hear the same noises from the opposite fence, where anyone questioning evolution must be scorned. Theories should not be be perceived as fact from both sides of the spectrum without conclusive proof.
I'm not saying that the theory of evolution don't have any merit, but just accepting it with blind faith is no different than those who believe in a creator to have made this all possible. Just as you might want to argue against a designer (God), there is not conclusive proof to convince any honest, open-minded, rational being that evolution is a fact.
Evolution is an observed fact. There is no faith involved. The Theory of Evolution may not be perfected yet, but still, after 150 years, it's the only explanation of observed evolution, that can show ANY kind of usefulness, with regards to experimental predictions, which, after all, is the key to any scientific theory. Like the Theory of Gravity, the Theories of Relativity, etc. So trying to equal creation to evolution is ridiculous. Either u know not of what u speak, or u are lying for jeebus
@tdjdk There is no observed evolution. Only observed adaptation of species who have DNA that was created (programmed) with the ability to adapt. Never has there been any observation or proof of one species evolving into another. Jesus Loves you.
@MrDugifresh You almost sound intelligent vice the fact that you infer Jesus and God. And for the sanity of everyone else can you PLEASE stop saying Jesus loves people and died for his children and all that, its not only ridiculous its annoying and proves nothing to your credit
There's an even better video showing the inside workings of a cell. It's entitled "Journey Inside the Cell". It's narrated by the brilliant Stephen C. Meyer, author of the breathtaking book "Signature in the Cell".
Harvard's video, titled, Inner life of a cell, highlights the absurdity of evolution, and origin of life as regurgitated at institutions of "higher learning".
Evolution is nothing short of admitting that the sum of mankind is greatly eclipsed, ie. much less than the accomplishments of his parts. Man, in his infancy is even now attempting to 'create' man in his own image via cloning, cybernetics, androids, etc. To discount, a priori, the likelihood that those much greater than himself, have already done so? Typically arrogant and foolhardy. Evolution is the religion of the hopless, themselves, demigods of oblivion. To know that He Is, ASK Him
For the record, Dr. Michael J. Behe has been a bio-chemist at the prestigious Lehigh University for over 30 years.
He's written two scientifically-charged books, and has published peer-reviewed research.
If he doesn't qualify as a scientist, no one does.
How pathetic is it that Designophobics not only lie about what I.D. is, but they must also resort to ad hominem attacks against it's proponents in sad attempts at discrediting them?
Many parts of a car can be removed and it can still run. Lugnuts, seats, radio, etc. However, there are parts of a car that are crucial. Removing just one of these parts renders the car an unrunnable P.O.S.
These crucial parts are the crux of the I.C. argument.
Darwinism works via small, successive changes, yet these crucial parts fall apart if not complete (dozens of proteins). This means their construction required foreSIGHT, which is (obviously) beyond the limits of the BLIND watchmaker.
Biblical creationism says that man was created, fully formed, six-thousand years ago. I.D. says no such thing, only that biology has ample evidence of design, particularly at the molecular-level.
Many, if not most, IDists accept evolution. But that's not "good enough" for your ilk. Evolution without your praised blind watchmaker might as well be Biblical creationism, as it doesn't support your atheistic religious agenda.
Atheistic agenda,,,,,,,,, not You are the one who want to bring religion into science. Science does not use that which can't be proven or change nature.
Amen. God's works are great indeed! To attribute His works to dumb chance, is to call down His rebuke upon one's own head. Yahweh bless you, dear readers, in Yeshua, Jesus Christ
Yahweh is God, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, is God's Son. Put simply, there are two basic ways to find come to realize God. Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. To know that He Is, either keep mocking him or beseech His forgiveness and ask Him to come into your heart through Yeshua. May the latter method be your choice to begin walking in wisdom. His blessing be upon you.
There you go again. FYI, sophomoric vulgarity only serves to showcase primitivity. Your individual cells demonstrate infinitely more self control than you do of your tongue. The armed forces could air drop you into baghdad or the gaza strip and you would immediately recognize the war torn remains of crumbled buildings as having the signature of intelligent design, yet fail miserably, cowardly, to see the Hand of God everywhere. God rebuke your mocking of Him, His son, and His Holy Spirit.
Perhaps there is time for you to come to see that ALL is religion. The collective pittance that is man's knowledge serves largely to blind him to his ignorance. And a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Faith according to accurate knowledge is true reality. If you could build an amazingly complex and efficient electric nanomotor with attendant signalling, switching, and guidance systems, you'd jump for joy. The arrogance of puny mankind! Who can countenance the patience of Yahweh!
It's not just that it's complex, it's that it's also specified. In other words, it's a series of individual parts arranged in a way as to produce function or purpose. This is a 'hallmark' of design. It's what separates...
A pile of bricks from a house.
A heap of metal from a car.
Ink and paper from a book.
etc.
This isn't a gap argument, it's a POSITIVE argument for design.
If you can't comprehend this, you're stupid.
If you choose to ignore it, you're worse than stupid - you're a Darwinist.
The Theory of Evolution, teaches that...
The Basis of science is summed up by the statement, "I Don't Know".
Please don't get Activism mix up with Science.
I accept Scientific Theory for what it is and look forward to new discoveries, not as a Religious belief system.

I don't understand this flagellum motor. Is this a natural creature, or a new form of human-created motor, on a nano scale.

BachScholar 6 months ago
@BachScholar Flagellum is catch 22 for Christianity. If you say it had to be designed then you say God deliberately created the bacteria which cause so much misery & suffering, also God never told anyone the cure, Jesus never either, in fact he said don't bother washing hands before eating (Mark7). If you say well flagellum could evolve after the fall, then everything else could evolve since it is very complex so the Bible is proven false. If there is a good god then everyone will go to heaven.
zytigon 3 months ago
@zytigon - Jesus does the Jewish ritual hand washing - therefore he does not state not to wash ones hands.
Also, you have millions of bacteria in your mouth that clean your teeth. If they weren't there, the food you eat would rot your teeth. Everything has a purpose. Minor illnesses exist to strengthen the immune system for example.
TalmudTommy 1 month ago
@TalmudTommy Ok, it could be Jesus washed hands but he didn't reveal any knowledge of germ theory. Try reading about oral ecology and oral microbiology. The bacteria on your teeth don't help prevent food rotting your teeth. Quite the reverse, when they feed on food they produce acid which etches at tooth enamel. You should brush twice a day with flouride toothpaste. The flouride strengthens enamel. A clean mouth has under 1,000,000 bacteria but uncleaned have billions
zytigon 1 month ago
@zytigon - During those times it would have gone on deaf, superstitious ears. And there is nothing to suggest he didn't mention such. We only have religious history to go on so we cannot be sure, just like we cannot be sure of his actual existence.
Yes it produces acid, which is removed by gentle teeth cleaning.
Fluoride toothpaste causes tooth mottling. And fluoride in the water as is the way in England, causes dental fluorosis and is also brain damaging. Fluoride is dangerous.
TalmudTommy 1 month ago
@TalmudTommy The things you write make you sound like you are inspired by a god. However back in the real world dosage is very important. Too little or too much both can cause harm. In 1900ish people in Colorado valley were found to have zero tooth decay but also mottling on teeth- due to high flouride in water. You are supposed to not eat toothpaste. Ideally leave half hour between meal and brushing. There are dental health reasons infavour of adding Flouride to water & cons
zytigon 1 month ago
@zytigon - So basically you admit that fluoride is dangerous and rots ones teeth. But then you go on to state that it is a matter of dosage?! What utter nonsense. Regardless of dosage it remains dangerous. Everytime we brush our teeth we swallow some of the toothpaste, regardless of how well we rinse. And if it is in the water we drink it. And when we heat water for hot drinks, cooking or baths (as it can soak in through the pores) the fluoride becomes stronger thus causing even
TalmudTommy 1 month ago
@zytigon - more damage to both the teeth and body. It should be a matter of personal choice and the public should be aware of the risks. If they still decide to use it even after knowing the risks then so be it. We have health warnings for cigarettes, why not even more dangerous substances such as fluoride?!
Lastly, my comment shows no inspiration from religious belief or God at all. In fact I openly state we cannot be sure of the existence of Jesus. I however am agnostic.
TalmudTommy 1 month ago
@TalmudTommy I was teasing you about God. Flouride strengthens tooth enamel, it doesn't cause rot. I think everything is about balance of risks. Look at risk of decay from sugar. Choice yes but Flouride in water could help children who haven't been taught to brush teeth. Anorexia is bad for health as is obesity. Moderate excercise is good for both bones & flesh but too much can wear out joints, stress skeleton & in extreme can damage muscle- cause heart attack. . 40C or 0 C could kill people
zytigon 1 month ago
@zytigon - Fluoride in water doesn't have any effect on teeth whatsoever. In fact the only effect it does have is in causing serious health problems and defects. In children, fluoridated toothpaste damages the tooth forming cells and causes defects in the enamel known as dental fluorosis. And the type of fluoride found in the water supply is a toxic waste product from phosphate fertizer pollution scubbers. It contains poisons such as arsenic, beryllium, mercury, lead and many more.
TalmudTommy 1 month ago
@zytigon - And fluoride was used in the USSR to keep prisoners in the camp docile. It was so successful that the Nazi's copied it in their camps. There is no health reason for adding fluoride to water, or to toothpaste, the only reason to have it is to control the people and to stop them from rising up against evil.

thechessstick 1 year ago
@thechessstick No, spontaneous generation seems to be something you have misunderstood the meaning of then if you think evolutionary theory leads to it.
It originally postulated that flies spawned from raw meat with no prior contact to flies, spontaneously, whilst in fact it turned out that only meat that had previously been visited by flies that laid eggs in it would actually generate larvae.
Now, evolutionary theory might lead us to abiogenesis some day, i don't know, we'll have to wait.
GronTheMighty 1 year ago
@GronTheMighty I really don't need a 5th grade lesson on spontaneous generation. And evolution must at its roots have several spontaneous generation moments. The single cell must somehow have just come about from mere matter. And also the big bang ultimately is something from nothing. What a bunch of suckers evolutionists are to believe such things.

I can't believe people still think that the bacterial flagellum is still a viable argument for intelligent design. The Flagellum has been demonstrated without doubt to not be irreducibly complex. What most people fail to realize is that nothing in modern biology makes sense without the evolutionary theory. Applications from evolution are found everywhere!!

Why do creationists attempt to use science? They don't belive it and they always fail dismally when they try and use it. Modern single celled organisims are the result of 4 billion years of evolution, the "motor" did not just spontaneously spring into being, it evolved from simpler structures.

There may be a god that created a design on how life is created and formed, but thinking that he sent his only son to this planet to die for our sins so we have a chance of going o heaven is so egotistical and self-centered of the human nature.
theojoe81 1 year ago

Life is not engineered, life is evolved.
orcodrilo 2 years ago

Yay religious fanatics logic - go team, go
tdjdk 2 years ago
Is the fight really between the religious & the non-religious? Isn't about finding the truth - whatever that might be. I agree, there is a lot of religious fanatics that don't use scientific backing to argue their case. I don't stand with those. But I do hear the same noises from the opposite fence, where anyone questioning evolution must be scorned. Theories should not be be perceived as fact from both sides of the spectrum without conclusive proof.

saikoza1 1 year ago
I'm not saying that the theory of evolution don't have any merit, but just accepting it with blind faith is no different than those who believe in a creator to have made this all possible. Just as you might want to argue against a designer (God), there is not conclusive proof to convince any honest, open-minded, rational being that evolution is a fact.
saikoza1 1 year ago
Evolution is an observed fact. There is no faith involved. The Theory of Evolution may not be perfected yet, but still, after 150 years, it's the only explanation of observed evolution, that can show ANY kind of usefulness, with regards to experimental predictions, which, after all, is the key to any scientific theory. Like the Theory of Gravity, the Theories of Relativity, etc. So trying to equal creation to evolution is ridiculous. Either u know not of what u speak, or u are lying for jeebus
tdjdk 1 year ago
@tdjdk There is no observed evolution. Only observed adaptation of species who have DNA that was created (programmed) with the ability to adapt. Never has there been any observation or proof of one species evolving into another. Jesus Loves you.

Very simple really, My God delivers. IE. He keeps His promises. What has your so called 'highly complex' sun god promised you lately?
Techstuf 2 years ago
Evolution is nothing short of admitting that the sum of mankind is greatly eclipsed, ie. much less than the accomplishments of his parts. Man, in his infancy is even now attempting to 'create' man in his own image via cloning, cybernetics, androids, etc. To discount, a priori, the likelihood that those much greater than himself, have already done so? Typically arrogant and foolhardy. Evolution is the religion of the hopless, themselves, demigods of oblivion. To know that He Is, ASK Him

bull shit, you are just mad because evolution proves the bible wrong.

Each part of the motor must function or it will die.
Wrong, it might not work as a motor, but it might not die.
Why do these non scientists have anything to say?

Many parts of a car can be removed and it can still run. Lugnuts, seats, radio, etc. However, there are parts of a car that are crucial. Removing just one of these parts renders the car an unrunnable P.O.S.
These crucial parts are the crux of the I.C. argument.
Darwinism works via small, successive changes, yet these crucial parts fall apart if not complete (dozens of proteins). This means their construction required foreSIGHT, which is (obviously) beyond the limits of the BLIND watchmaker.
IRCLegendJammer 2 years ago
but obviously it evolved this way.

"IC=ID=creation science=creationism=
bible story=religion. "
Shameful.
IRCLegendJammer 2 years ago
Atheistic agenda,,,,,,,,, not You are the one who want to bring religion into science. Science does not use that which can't be proven or change nature.
gregrutz 2 years ago
I've yet to see a legitimate answer for irreducible complexity.
I've seen deceitful Ken Miller butcher the argument so badly that anything he concludes becomes totally irrelevant.
I've seen Darwinists posit just-so stories rooted entirely in their own sick minds.
I've seen Darwinists get so frustrated that they ignore the science and attack Dr. Behe personally.
13 years later and I.C. stands stronger than ever.
REALITY CHECK: Accidents - even when guided by N.S. - don't build machines.

Amen. God's works are great indeed! To attribute His works to dumb chance, is to call down His rebuke upon one's own head. Yahweh bless you, dear readers, in Yeshua, Jesus Christ
Techstuf 2 years ago
What is a Yeshua or a Yahweh, aren't 3 gods enough.
gregrutz 2 years ago
Yahweh is God, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, is God's Son. Put simply, there are two basic ways to find come to realize God. Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. To know that He Is, either keep mocking him or beseech His forgiveness and ask Him to come into your heart through Yeshua. May the latter method be your choice to begin walking in wisdom. His blessing be upon you.

Does the third God have a funny name too?
gregrutz 2 years ago
There you go again. FYI, sophomoric vulgarity only serves to showcase primitivity. Your individual cells demonstrate infinitely more self control than you do of your tongue. The armed forces could air drop you into baghdad or the gaza strip and you would immediately recognize the war torn remains of crumbled buildings as having the signature of intelligent design, yet fail miserably, cowardly, to see the Hand of God everywhere. God rebuke your mocking of Him, His son, and His Holy Spirit.

You keep wanting to talk about religion. I thought we were talking about science, Biology.
Snow flakes are complex, does god make every one of them?
gregrutz 2 years ago
