  • Must have been fake

  • Why can't we just enjoy the music without criticising others? :( Anyway the guy is really good at playing the piano :D

  • Aint´t you got big hands?

  • This is wayyyyy better than your old !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOOODD

  • lol @ comments that show offs... "i played it!" clap? funny.. just doing stuff keep it to ur selfs ppl.. anyways chopin is my fav always =]

  • Clown, you are only a web phenomen. any student from capital school can play these pieces

  • Wow dude awesome........check out my page to see me play this piece...it was my first attempt

  • This is not by any means the easiest etude, and yes, I have played this and others. Op.10 no.6, Op.10 no.9, Op. 25 no.1,2, and 3, Op.25 no.9, and Op.25 no. 12 are all easier then this IMO

  • Op. 10 No. 1?

  • Dang, that was very lame. Good for you.

  • Mr. Cambry - You might check out the movie, Impromptu. I felt like I got a better feel for Chopin's character from it. I think with more of Chopin's feelings and viewpoints, you'll add that rich, boundless, free, take-me-to-the-heights-and-make-me-cry feeling that needs to be completely released. Again, GOD ALMIGHTY!

  • GOD ALMIGHTY!!! WHOOO HOOOO!

  • Do you know any Liszt pieces?? I would love to hear you play a Liszt piece!!

  • its smooth and your technique is strong, but i personally think your interpretation is nothing really special, despite this, you are still a brilliant pianist

  • You might want to check the sheet music a little more closely -- some of the chords in the right hand have the middle notes tied while the top and bottom change with the melody. In a lot of places, it sounds like you're just repeating the middle notes (for example, the first two notes in measure 12, 22 and elsewhere). Otherwise, I think you have it mostly nailed. Good job.

  • jon learned this piece at the delicate age of 7, darkkerrigan...

  • lol that would be funny, fyi next stop is OC with concert on feb 7th

  • The Revolutionary Etude is one of the easiest Chopin Etudes - it is usually one of the first ones learned, and a very good workout for the left hand. I learned this in conservatory prep division at age 12. Nice job =) I like how yout ake your time rather than rush the crap out of it as most pianists do..lol.

  • Easiest of the etudes set. But the soul that lives in it that thrives off your need to bring it out truely is the hardest part of the piece. almost everyone can play it hitting every key and playing at the tempo but few bring out the dream of the piece. The quality that devours an audience with passion. This piece played right can truely tremble a person once finished. Excellent playing Cambry. I loved some parts you played it really caught my attention. nicely done I say. keep it up mate

  • I jealous!!!

    You're amazing!

This would probably take me about a year to learn. LOL!

  • great playing! I'm just wondering, which piece did u find harder to learn- this or the moment 4?

  • My teacher suggested me to learn this piece first although I've always wanted to play no. 4

  • Good work. I love this etude ;D one of the best Chopin made! i play this every morning when i wake up ;P cant get enuf of it. but like your "moment 4" your playing to slow. but other then that perfect =)

  • perfect style

  • I'm lov'n your sound, dude. I could really get into this classical stuff.

With all of your fantastic technique and all LittleChopin can say is, "A shame the piano wasn't tuned?" WTF? What an ingrate! I agree with pasta296, "Your piano sounds amazing! It's heavy on bass, just the way I like it!"

    A 5-star performance!

  • Well the piano definately could use tuning; the upper notes are out of tone but that doesn't mean it doesn't sound amazing. The bass is still superb. So is the player.

  • I love this man's ability. Wish I had it. Currently working on this and the left had is so difficult. I think my approach to piano playing is all wrong. That's why instructors need to teach "how to practice" properly. How to tackle a difficult piece.

You are so awesome to watch and listen to. We all love your videos. Thanks so much for posting them and sharing your genius with us.

  • Dude you are amaizing how long did it take you to learn this?! anyway 5 stars!

  • i really like your style

  • i don't know what to say to a performance like that. i love how it flows so effortlessly as if it just happens to be a part of you. demonstrated by the fact that only one second passes between your taking your seat and beginning the piece. Absolutely beyond words.

  • I could argue your interpretation of this piece, but that's just me. I also play this piece, and I really admire the fact that you play this almost flawlessly and are able to endure it. Great job.

  • wah! that was great. you make it look so effortless! i really like your dynamics- this piece is so tecnique heavy that its rare to hear a pianist play it with so much depth and color. well done~!

  • Some house you've got there! Who decorated?

  • A shame the piano wasnt tuned...:/

  • LittleChopin I know you said this 8 months ago, but I had to tell you this: If you can READ, he just got the piano TUNED, man! Get the WAX out of your EARS!

Sorry, I just had to say that...

  • omg DAMN GOOD

  • your piano sounds amazing! its heavy on bass, just the way i like it

  • wow! Such a fluid and efficient left-hand technique. Bravo!

  • I'd like to thank you for your selection of pieces. I like Chopin a lot.

    Who's your favourite composer?

  • i like your interpretation but the sound is bad (or your piano sounds bad)

  • Wow!!!!!!

  • omg finally a person who plays this peice flawlessly!!! ok err im 12 and I need help with measure 8 of the song cause im just starting to play it. so could u please give me some tips plz

  • Excellent! You are truly gifted!

  • Two words: holy crap. Chopin + you = the epitome of awesome.

  • you're a great player. although you have freaked me out a little. nothing personal or anything. my piano teacher said im gonna learn this piece, and wanted to hear it. i've only been playing for two years!

so, anyway, i was looking through all the different ones of the revolutionary etude, and you definately beat all the one's ive watched.

  • Great job. I really like the dynamics at the end. You have great hand position and technique. This piece really shows it off in the left hand.

  • beautiful -- i like your house btw :)

  • Very well done.

  • Hehe, always got to look good in front of the camera

    ^-^. Really nice interpretation!

  • Wow, you are really good! I'm playing that too, except I cant play it nearly as well as you, or as fast :P

  • It's 3AM now~ I am sleepy but I don't want to go to sleep yet......Because your music is GREAT!!!!!!!

Do you compose? So curious.....I have really small hands......and I cant play classical music well..=( But I loveeee music and I write songs...=)

  • WOW!!! You played that great! And nice house, by the way!

  • This is really tastefull!

  • Well Done! Beautiful interpretation!

  • it is so nice to see you play; you have complete control of everything you play

  • BRAVO! You're simply AMAZING! I LOVE your playing!

  • Amazing!

  • wonderful!!

    gretings from Chile!

  • Good job nice interpertation....I'm 14 and I got about halfway through this piece but it sounds extrememly rusty...it will take me a couple years for me to perfect it

  • very nyce interpretation!! the first video was also very good, 2:24 is so nyce! keep playing, you're really amazing!

  • I cant write about piano well because I'm a guitarist,

I know that Chopin Etude Revolutionary is most difficult piano song.

your play is precise for the score, in addition to that, you have the expression power on the play as if I can feel Poland sorrow history and backyard.

  • you play sooooo wel!!!!

may i know how big are your hands?

  • Wow . amazing and is that your house ?! damn nice house..

  • Haha! I can't believe with all the comments you've had int he past with not wearing formal clothing that no one has mentioned how good you look in the shirt and jacket.

    As always! You play beautifully!

Chicago has so many talented artists! Has anyone from G.O.O.D. music ever approached you to perform with them?

  • wow! you make this piece look so effortless! i always break a sweat playing this piece. i like your interpretation of it. well done!

  • Hi, im 14 and currently learning Rachmaninoff's Prelude in G-Minor, im not sure if you have played this peice or not but do you have any tips?

  • fingers seem much more fluid than first video. great performance!

  • Everything...Nice! =D

  • Love the title design and excellent performance 5/5!

  • clever idea! endless talent you have- i am so jealous! that was beautiful.

  • Don't jealous, send some respect and love.

  • Great job-- good techinque. I like how you didn't overpedal.

  • You have fantastic technique, I think. Thanks for your chopin performance, really enjoyed it.

  • So Amazing. You give me something so Strive for!

  • Ive been subscribed to you now for a few months Cambry and your honestly my fav musician on youtube. You really do inspire me, I want to be as good as you one day - even if its in 10 years i'd be happy. Many thanks mate, Oliver :)

  • thanks volcom, that really means a lot, how long have you been playing?

  • Hey Cambry, ive been playing about 6 months now and been taking lessons for about 3. my teacher says im really good and such fast learner, i guess its because i listen to alot of chopin, rach, you :) and practise for about 4 hrs a day. im learning alot from Bach's Megdalena notebook at the moment.

  • Cool, Mom used to wake us up out of bed on Saturday mornings with this one.

  • Very, very nice. Much better than the one recorded in the practice room. I loved it.

Can you play Nocturne in C# minor by Chopin? Posthumous.

  • I would like to hear your rendition of Friedrich Burgmuller's "Ballade". There are a couple of them by divers artist ( one especially unique with a mother accompaning her daughter on the same piano ) Check that one out 'playa'. It could be entertaining to you. I think after all that you do for the "youtubians" you could take a breather from time to time. Amen?

  • Nice job! Your previous recording was really good but this is even better! By the way, your piano and furinture are really pretty!!

  • your piano is a bit out of tune in the higher notes

  • Yeah, part of that is the encoding I think, and the other part is that the piano is really bright, the piano was tuned about 4 days ago

  • Sure!

  • Can you play some Jelly Roll Morton piano rolls ?

    Great indeed

  • wow, very nice.

  • Thanks!

  • incredible cultivated gift

  • PianoPlaya123!!!! So good to see some more videos, they all rock! (you are an excellent pianist)

This is played perfectly. What make of piano do you have - it sounds really nice!

    Thanks,

    Ollie

  • Thanks Ollie, the piano just got tuned 2 days ago haha sounds better too when the video isn't encoded, the piano is a 6'3" Schimmel

  • Cool! Thanks for the reply!

Well, all I can say is keep playing - I'm sure you have inspired many 'YouTubians'!

Im just gonna go ahead and subscribe now!!

Thanks for all the great videos (Transcendental No. 10 is my favourite!)

    Ollie

  • AWESOME!

  • OK, now you're spoiling us!! Three new vids w/in one day? This was just fantastic, Jonathan... Thanks, man!

    -Duke

  • Boy! You play it so easily ! I wonder if Chopin play it so good like you !

  • This is an awesome song, you're really good.

It'd be cool to see you play Maple Leaf Rag - Joplin, or something jazzy.

  • Very good performance! I really like it.

Your hands look very relaxed, wich makes it indeed, look easy! :-)

  • Thanks, this piano just got a new action built yesterday too so i'm still getting used to it but will become even easier to play in the future

  • Which piece do you like better: Revolutionary or Op 25 No 1?

  • Op 25, No 1 is better to me I think, so many different ways to play that one

  • ah, you make it look so easy...

  • Thanks Maui!

  • amazing performance!

  • such an angry piece, i love it.

  • i'm just angry that my camcorder sucks haha, that's my interpretation of this piece

  • Amazing.
