lol.. i gotta say.. i used avg pro.. and got a big virus which toasted my whole hdd...

not even IT's could fix it.. i had some important data there...

norton have never let me down...

and paying 30$ for a yr isnt much... srsly.. thats like.. 10c per day...

i prefer paying that than getting my hdd broken with a free antivirus and having 2 pay like 150$..

If you have 2 antiviruses running at the same time, then they're fighting eachother. They try to make changes and stuff to eachother. The strongest antivirus always wins. I had Spyware Doctor VS Norton, and Norton won. Doctor tried to make changes to Norton 360, but 360 blocked it all. Norton 360 is the best all in one family protector. You don't have to be an expert to use it!

norton is by far the worst virus protection software out there its a virus it self. thats why i use a macintosh. on a macintosh you dont need virus protection software because people dont write viruses for macintoshes. PC sssuuuccckkksss and you have to pay for norton but it sucks so use AVG its free and it works way better than norton

The last virus that attack my computer in 2008 was antivirus2009 avg did nothing to remove it

so i switch to avast and never again did my computer get viruses

Hello, 20accent, I have been a NOD32 user since v2 but have recently quit using it. It failed me due to a USB virus. Now I use Norton 360 V4, Which, I can say is MUCH better on protection AND resources. Currently, it is using 5.5MB of RAM and 0% CPU. Is eset that low? No.

yea i am useing 2009, trust me it really slows down your pc, like you wont notice it slows it down until u terminate it on the procceser shit. my physical memory usage went from 47% to 40%, huge difference.

Kaspersky Internet Security + Malwarebytes Anti Malware + Spybot Search and destroy = TOP OF THE TOP SECURITY. I've been using all those 3 combined together and didn't have a problem in almost a year and trust me, i could have gotten viruses many times by downloading left and right. Although i love those programs, i'm really tempted to switch to NIS, i'll wait for the 2010 release at this point.. Hopefully i won't be disappointed..
