This is confusing and no offense I have talked to the gentleman that sold these two cars but too my knowledge they are not a true S. I have the black S and and two are in museums and one is owned by the sultan of brunei and the last one being owned by a doctor in so cal. TWR only made five total. I wish someone could prove to me that this is a real S as well as the orange one. If your the owner I can help you get these cars legalized. If it is an S it is not legalized, because I am the only one.
I with you on the belief that perhaps this car is not here legally. That's only speculation on my part, based on my understanding of the laws and red tape associated with vehicle importation. If you have overcome those hurdles with your S - then congratulations!
I believe this car is driven very infrequently, and only with a 'Dealer' plate when it does go out. I do know the name of its owner, and would reveal that to you if you'd like to send me an email at my YouTube username at Hotmail.

Plenty of supercar owners "piss about on YouTube" and other message forums. Most are regular people with the same interests as you and I so why wouldn't they?
That is not a real S and if is I love for someone to prove it to me and if proved I like to know how they are driving it and if that is proved then you can join my club which is the only ME; The only legalized 220S in America check my Jag featured at sema auto show yes it is the black one. No offense but this looks like a kitted 220 and don't get me wrong it is still a beautiful car just not an S. There is another one like this that is orange that both sold recently love to know how much.
I can confirm your suspicion that this is in fact not a 'real S' but it is also not a kitted XJ220 either.
This was Tom Walkinshaw's personal car, built from the unfinished chassis of an XJ220 C that was intended to be raced. It's original colour was dark green and it was later repainted the silver you see here, around the time it entered the USA with the assistance of Vik Keuylian.

The Diablo GTR was already in place when we arrived.
I would have probably taken video of the CLK-GTR upon its arrival, had they started it. However, that car is stored in a dry state according to the owner, and unless he makes plans to use it on track, it has no fuel/oil/coolant, etc.
