I won't deny that the dancers are doing some amazing work, but this... this is pure mindfuckery. That's it. If this is supposed to be art the only thing artistic is the dance moves and the motion of the body. The rest is just a muddled mess of "what the fuck am I watching?" I could sit and watch this for the anatomy of a moving body, but other than that it's kind of pointless.

And that's cool. But after having read some articles and papers, one of the major things I've learned is that Marie Chouinard is particularly extreme in her use of sexual imagery. This piece still suffers horribly from this stale over-sexuality, like so many pieces before it—and many to come, I bet.
