The bible has no credentials to determine the etiology of any disease and you are not a doctor. Major Depression is a disease which causes are largely unknown and vary widely. Major depression in not colloquial depression, and not everybody experiences major depression - and only about 17% of Americans will have depression in their lifetime. This video did nothing to illuminate me about the causes of depression. THe only thing I learned is just how ignorant you are about what depression is.
That was a wonderful message. Many times I've felt lost in the abyss of depression over everything from the death of my maternal grandmother to women rejecting me to physical abuse at the hands of my father. If I didn't have my faith that God would eventually set everything right, I'd be forever hopeless and miserable. I still have my moments from time to time, but realizing God will always be in my corner sets me back on the right path so I can continue on through this life.
359 views? Now THAT is depressing! Thank you, Pastor. If there were about 6 or 7 zeros at the end of that number this world would be transformed. I've been reading toward the end of the student handbook of ACIM recently and its all about giving this day to God. Its so simple because its just one day! ;-) This day brought me to you because I am extremely passionate about the cause of depression and the fact that the cause can be easily seen and easily healed.
