  • I liked Gracy Singh in that movie. Her dance, esp compared to sucky actresses now, is really good. Very graceful. :( i miss actresses who could dance and didnt look so big.

  • AR Rahman is easily the best thing that happened to Hindi/Tamil/Telugu cinema in the late 90s up to now...

  • Song is sooo good, Like this if u brown!

  • I love this song

  • so much more beautiful than the plump plain jane british girl

  • What are they saying in the song? Is the Indian girl jealous?

  • @rhythmictrolllover yeah kinda they are talking about radha, the girlfriend of a god and how she was his only good friend even tho he flirted a lot with other girls. it plays into this scene becuase amir khan kind of "flirts" with the british lady so the indian girl is showing her jealousy.

  • @vrami01 Oh ok thanks. I tried looking up this video with English subtitles and couldn't find one :(

  • @rhythmictrolllover there's a few vids on youtube with the translation, just search 'radha kaise na jale english subtitles' if they don't show on the video you need to press the CC button underneath the vid,the lyrics are really nice!

  • Gracy is soo beautiful! I love India so much! Bollywood vs. Hollywood...I'm going towards Bollywood!

  • this is my favourite part of the movie *0* !!

  • I am glad that some parts of a culture still hang onto their identity somewhat..hard to say that because of others, cultures are portrayed differently when you take on film and music that came about from the Western European culture. Sooo hard. Being a Native American from America we suffer misconstrue about all different native cultures here. Instead of being recognized as diverse, centralized cultures with set morals and values of own...we are all labeled as being Indians shooting arrows. Sad

  • It's a garbha!! =)

  • i love these songs but the women do tend to sound very similar.

  • then why is radha jealous?

  • @godanmit Why wouldn't she be jealous?

  • @Ziegut because krishna teases her, and flirts with the nymphs

  • my family would play the whole cd to new jersey in the summer for family gatherings or weddings.

SUS BAILES SUS MUJERES HERMOSAS ... LAS LATINAS TAMPOCO NOS QUEDAMOS ATRÁS SOMOS TAMBIEN MUY HERMOSAS!!

  • @Mrkatherine1313

lol I hope u manage to go to India one day...god bless!

  • Love the way she dances. She dances so natural you can't even tell it was rehearsed. She dances so elegantly and effortlessly.

These new actresses spend too much time on their plastic faces and bodies and don't even know how to dance like this.

  • Okay... WILL SOMEONE HELP ME FIND THIS BOLLYWOOD/TOLLYWOOD film? I can't remember the title. And I saw a clip of it last year, but I can't remember the title. There's a sequence in the movie when some girls dance and they light candles all around them? I know this is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but I need to see that film. Thanks.

  • @shahoney it's Laagan.

  • Comment removed

  • Gah, his is so beautiful :) I love dance banters.

  • @shahoney -- *this is so beautiful

  • This is fine example of greatness of Indian Cinema, Gr8 music, lyrics, singing, choreography, expression & direction. Its a wonder y songs lyk ''desi beat" from bodyguared get 1 mill + hits which i consider comp crap

  • she is a magnificant performer. the last bit alone was done under one take. No editing. This shows what a terrific dancer gracy is. Way better than Aish who has no control over her body.

  • Gracy reminds me of Vyjayanthimala. Her dance moves are very similar.

  • Omg, she's absolutely gorgeous dancing!!

  • This movie should have gotten the Oscar awards rather than Slumdog Millionaire

  • @sammynalla This movie wasn't competed by Slumdog Millionaire, that year, a film called 'No Man's Land' took away the Oscar award for the best foreign movie.

  • Gracy Singh: Really great dancer. Not only she speaks with her dance but with no grammer mistakes. Very expressive movements. I watched this video for more than 10 times.

  • This is such a heart wrenching dance.. hurts if you really understand the video.

  • thanks XDDD

  • whats the meaning of this song i would like to know?!

  • @Yuna7715 In the movie theres a festival for the God krishna and Goddess that I cant remember her name, but the two where in love but married other people. In the storie line two girls fall for the same guy. Find the movie and wach it on here, its kinda hard to explane but great movie

  • Comment removed

  • @Yuna7715 google for the english translation of this song.there are loads of it.I tried to copy the url but youtube somehow didnt allow it.

  • beautiful lyrics!

  • Okay . . . I'm addicted. I can't stop looking at this video, and I can't stop listening to this song, which I downloaded right after seeing the vid for the first time.

  • I think the reason why I don't like the Brits in Bollywood films is because I'm afraid that bringing Bollywood to the English audiences is going to start to chafe at what Bollywood is in the long run. I see some Bollywood films adopting the Western ways, but why? If anything, it should be the West adopting the Bollywood way to make their musicals better, not the other way around. Does that make any sense? This song is so beautiful and reminds me that Bollywood is enchanting just the way it is.

  • @TitaniaIsFalling I really have to agree :) What's the point of adapting western styles when I could just do that watching western musicals or hollywood? Besides, Bollywood copycat-ing from western films just make the former shameful and horrible to watch. I have American friends who know mostly the westernized songs of bollywood, and I cannot help but shake my head knowing the true essence of india they are missing. Thank you for your intelligent input :)

  • @JTeamjesters yeah westernized eastern stuff is so boring, REAL bollywood is a magical experience, but now when I see half naked background dancers its so awful.

  • @Farieclau haha true. Although if you are going to do westernized movies, at least make it believable. I mean, considering that India has come a far way from a third world country to westernized and advanced, one should have the right to show that. But naked dancers and sexy characters are just eye-candy, not real.India has such an old and powerful history that a filmmaker can find tons of ways to utilize, and I want it to be utilized. But oh well, it's what majority likes I suppose

  • @Farieclau STOP calling it "westernised"...

There's nothing "western" about it, the West makes great films too so Non Westerners should stop calling "vulgarity" as "westernisation" that's just making disparaging comments about a culture you clearly don't know about...

I'm of Indian Descent by the way

  • @Varoonmg But you know what we mean here by "westernisation", all those "vulgar" fashions were invented by the west so its part of their culture. But not ALL western stuff is vulgar, But these days things that are sucessful in music, film and any media industry are things that have lots of vulgarity. And everybody are trying to be a bit like Westerners(Im not anti-west). But things will be much more better if they remained pure with out any fusions.

  • @JTeamjesters What happened to melodious songs from films like Henna, Beta, Aasiqui, Sadak, Deewana and many others. [1980-2005] these days all the songs have musical instruments to make it sound English. Bollywood had their own style once, good films like Mr India, Ram Lakhan, Kishan Kaniya, Beta and so on. Is this what the indian audiences want? because they should reject it so they revert back to those classical songs, and stories.

  • @JTeamjesters I am about as American as they come, and I agree. I LOVE Bollywood music, but mostly just the less westernized stuff. If I wanted to hear R&B, I'd listen to R&B. I just can't get enough of Bollywood songs like these (Not to mention the more traditional dancing, but that's another conversation). One of my favorite soundtracks is Paheli. I've recently started listening to classical Indian music as well and I love it!

  • @redsenay wow i though i was the only amarican in amarica who loves traditional indian and bollywood music like this..nice to know im not the ONLY one =)

  • @jamirr100 No you not! I am Greek-Canadian and I love Bollywood!!

  • @jamirr100 DEFINITELY not! I have no Indian in me and I love traditional Bollywood, and India. Such amazing culture. So colorful. :D

  • @echoalicia2011 well im glad that im not the only one who appriciates it not many other 19 year old are into this stuff in amarica if there are any at all by the way you are very pretty =)

  • @jamirr100 Oh thank you! :)

  • @redsenay You should really take a look at Mughal-E-Azam if you like classical stuff :) It's an old flick, but very nice.
