  • Both of them are awesome!

  • doooouuuuu!!!!!

  • Her name is not "łoźniaki"! Woźniacki is a Polish name. Put in google tumacza and Listen !

  • ALTHOUGH THEY'RE BEST OF FRIENDS, this is exactly what Serena is gonna do to Wozniacki at the US Open 2011

  • You can tell from the first point how much Woz's forehand sits up

  • The next great rivalry in women's tennis? :D

  • I think she was playing better with Prince EXO3 Black than now with Head. Look at these backhands here, just wonderful!

  • Funny her strokes kinda remind me of martina :)

  • hottest tennis match ever

  • Love the rivalry between these two. Maria's recent Rome victory has made it very interesting. I really hope they meet at Wimbledon this year!

  • why does the description say wozniacki won when sharapova won??? the description doesnt match the video at all lol.

  • shit my mother thinks i watch pornos xD ...

  • @HouseFreakTR probably do! you just probably mute those videos ;)

  • @HouseFreakTR hahaahahahahahaahhaaahaha

  • @HouseFreakTR lol

  • @HouseFreakTR Shit this comment made me laugh out loud. I was thinking the exact same thing.

  • I bet Maria was wishing that that was Serena on the other side of the net... lol

  • @Ginuwinejay Well she clearly can't do that to her, she won'taccept that, someone bullying her

  • Sharapova is a good but those OH OH OH OH OH are annoying.

  • Sharapova has the best backand motion on wta tour!!!it's unique!!!

  • I really like this video!i watched it 100 times!

  • @personify505 I have to agree, she doesn't really know how to volley unless it's a giveaway. But her serve then drive volley is a perfect one.. Only few players can actually accomplish it as many times as Maria, like Serena and other hard hitters.. :D I just noticed that whenever she got the ball on her front, she will get the point no matter who her opponent is, but if it's Clijsters, Clijsters would reach for it but then Maria would just drive volley getting the point... Maria's game befre inj

  • "uuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!" said Maria... xDDD

  • Poor Wozniacki, she never go to win a Grand Slam.

  • its not like people watch these two for their ability to play tennis.....................

  • orgasm much? xD

  • Wow! What a performance by Maria!

  • I am just stating a fact...please, no follow-up comments on this!

  • If only she can consistently win games, I know, easier said than done, she would definitely have more GS under her belt. The problem now is that she's involved in a lot of other outside activities, obviously, they take a lot away fr. her game. She faces a myriad of media, sponsors, guest appearances activities etc, brought about by being the highest-paid female athlete & of course, her overall persona too. So, we ask the question...Maria, is tennis still your first priority?

  • maria doesnt construct points

all she does is hit and hit... then drive volley... theres a ton of girls who can do that on the tour.

  • This was insane - this Sharapova can definitely still win major titles. But Maria, while known for her power, also requires great precision to line up her shots like that so close to the lines. Given how windy it was in New York this year I'm not surprised she had a lot more trouble.

But when the way she's utterly lambasting balls toward the end of these highlights it's frightening.

She still needs to work on coming in to put away shots, esp if playing eg. Henin who has a slice BH

  • Wow, what awesome highlights! Maria hit so many more winners than Caroline Wozniacki, perhaps the most consistent player at this time. This video really shows the ability that Maria has, it's just a matter of doing it...Consistently (like Caroline). Since she had a long time off since shoulder surgery she gained in years (not saying she's too old) and lost in experience and complete feel for the game. I hope she can gain that consistency back and become the antique-shreaking Sharapova we love!

  • Sharapova come down baby relax a little bit ... this was an exhibition game.. you should play like this all the time..

  • Poor Wozniacki, she never go to win a Grand Slam.

  • I watched this video 10000 times and I'm going to watch it again.

  • Sharapova would have a great 2010 year if she had kept this up. What a dissapointment, really. She spent this whole year struggling, when she didn't have to. She could still win another grand slam title, or two, but it's going to take a heck of hard work and commitment to the game to make that happen.

  • @JujuFan123 i think the start of this year really gave her the kick up the butt that she needed and i thinkshe'll be a lot more weary of the start of 2011 and that's why i think she's been training harder than ever this off season

  • Comment removed

  • @JamiieOwen3T I hope so, especially with everything around the marriage and stuff. I just hope this new coach guy can fix her serve, all the matches she played this year (vs Serena at Wimbly and this for example) her serve held up great. If she can make it a weapon again like in 08 she could really make a statement in Australia, I really can't wait for the new season..

  • @JujuFan123 OMG IF SHARAPOVA PLAYED LIKE THIS SHE WOULD WIN ALL 4 GRAND SLAMS ONE AFTER ANOTHER...THIS TYPE OF PLAY IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE..THIS IS MARIA AT HER BEST,CAROLINE DID NOT PLAY A BAD GAME!! BUT U CAN PUT ANYONE AGAINST MARIA IN THIS FORM AND THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE WINNER!!!

    VAMOS MASHA!!!!!!!!!

  • @JujuFan123 Maria had chances to beat both Henin and Serena - if she had beaten Serena then the Wimby title would almost have been as good as hers - thought Li Na is a great grass player who beat her at Birmingham. But she NEEDS to learn a) how to hit an overhead instead of that damn swinging volley and b) to come in behind her shots and take them out of the air, she should crush a defender like Woz by taking time away from her.

  • @JujuFan123 you just said NOTHING...

  • WAO 8:00-8:06 "under pressure"

  • The return at 9:20 was o.O

  • With this kind of tennis she can beat players like Wozniacki,Henin,Clijsters and Venus....I wish she played like this all the time....this is sooooo 2006 Sharapova...

  • Too bad her career is over...Damn!

  • @LukaFilipovic442 Her career is over???? Speaking of people who speaks minus their brain. God gave us a brain, USE IT!

  • This is one of the last matches Maria played amazing in her career....

  • Carolina is a joke...

  • 2:47, what the hell? Maria can SLICE? Hahaha.

  • I HAVE ALSO DELETED ALL MY COMMENTS TO JUJUFAN123. END OF DISCUSSION!!!

  • the 4th round this time.

  • Now look at her results after that. 2007 Wimbledon: 4th round 2007 US Open: 3rd round 2008 Australian Open: WINNER 2008 French Open: 4th round 2008 Wimbledon: 2nd round 2009 French Open: Quarterfinals 2009 Wimbledon: 2nd round 2009 US Open: 3rd round 2010 Australian Open: 1st round 2010 French Open: 3rd round 2010 Wimbledon: 4th round 2010 US Open: 4th round

  • @Kersey125 Wow, what an mature comeback! What are you, 8?

  • Comment removed

  • @Kersey125 Nah, sorry. Been and done that. Geez, let me ask you an question; how much critcism do you think Justine Henin or Serena Williams would get if they, the multiple grand slam champions that they are, suffered as many early losses in the slams as Sharapova does. Are you thinking like me? Yeah, I'm think they would get a LOT of criticism by the media and fans. So why are you so hung up when Sharapova gets it? Let's see what happens at the Aussie Open; here's me just hoping she gets past

  • @JujuFan123 NO COMMENT! THIS IS KERSEY125 SIGNING OFF!!!

  • old form, but it won't happen unless she does something about her game.

  • @Kersey125 I don't know where you think I mentioned 6-3 6-4 or 7-5 6-3 or where you think I said Maria did not win this game. I'm talking about her awful form the rest of this season,

  • @Kersey125 Whatever Kersey, you can't keep on blaming all of her losses on shoulder injury. Too much reliance on power is never good for your game, developing your game will be much better for Sharapova. Why is her coach so stupid not to realize that? Maria's game has gone away drastically since 2007. Since her magical run at Melbourne, she has not had a deep run at a major since. Here, I'll give you some idea of what I'm talking about:

  • Comment removed

  • a grand slam quarterfinal. And don't blame it on her shoulder injury because if she says it is fine, then we have to believe it is unless you think Sharapova is a liar.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @Kersey125 I would give her tips if I knew how. Any tips on how I can CONTACT her? And you cannot improve on your game if you don't know what's going wrong with your game. But things that she should do is come to the net more often because when she does, she is spectacular. She needs to try to be more than an baseliner. And I'm sorry to say, but she DOES self-destruct when she makes a lot of errors on the court. I'm not jealous of Maria at all. Infact, I long for the days that she gets to her

  • Comment removed

  • calm and composed like she did before all this mess with her shoulder came up, and she should be a grand slam contender very soon. But as of now, she is not even good enough to make a grand slam quarterfinal. She hasn't even made one since the 2009 French Open, I would expect much more from an multiple grand slam champion

  • She did it in her peak, but the difference is that she didn't let it affect her as it does now. She gets too frustrated with herself when making all those zillions of unforced errors. In her peak, she would just wipe it off as a "bad point"and then continue to do her job which was to win the match. In my opinion, Sharapova is still capable of winning a few more grand slams. But she'll have to stop getting so frustrated with herself when making all those errors. She just needs to keep herself

  • me that Sharapova is still capable of playing great tennis, but she doesn't do it too often on the big moments anymore. And it's just not just her serve, but the problems with her game itself is that she relies too much on her power. She has no plan B. When things aren't going her way, and she's making a lot of unforced errors and double faults, she just continues to self destruct, she doesn't have any other game plan. Maria is known for making a lot of unforced errors, it's a part of her game

  • Comment removed

  • @Kersey125 Really? Well, Maria Sharapova says her shoulder is fine, she said that since the French Open this year and yet she still loses to players she shouldn't be losing to like 40 year old Date Krumm in Tokyo, and Vesnina in Beijing. I'm sick of people blaming all of her lossing on injuries. She is either struggling with confidence issues, or there's something entirely different going on in her head right know. Either way, she can't keep on going the way she is right know. This video shows

  • @Kersey125 I have been following women's tennis for more than 10 years now, so I know a awful lot about it already. Perhaps you should read my comments properly, I said I LIKE Maria, I'm just outlining the many problems in her game that needs working on. I never claimed to be a tennis analyst, but you have to admit it is worrying when a 3-time grand slam winner like Sharapova doesn't make it past the 4th round of a major since last year's French Open, and that is a very long time to not make

  • Comment removed

  • Hi jamie can u make highlights of Sharapova vs Kuznetsova at Indian Wells 2008?

  • when she won the Australian Open in 2008. I don't think anyone is forgetting how serious Masha's injury was, but she should have found her form by now since it's been more than a year since she has been back.

  • Comment removed

  • @Kersey125 Kersey, I don't mean to sound rude because I like Maria but it's not like she just came back from surgery. She has been back for more than a year now, I mean, you would think that she would be finding her form by now, I mean, fair enough she hasn't won a major yet but she should have at least made a few grand slam semis by now. For a multiple grand slam champion, she doesn't really seem to go far in the majors anymore. In fact, the last time she even made a grand slam semi was

  • Yeah, it really is a shame she's not playing to well. I personally think that when Sharapova is at her absolute best, she is almost close to unbeatable.

  • When was this? And how old was wozzy? Maria played amazing...!

  • @teamemmett798 january of this year.

  • she is not able to keep up this level of play consistently. I think that's because of her fitness, for someone who is still in their early 20's, she doesn't look as physically fit as she should be or what she was for that matter. If she could just work on that, along with her serve, I'm sure she will start contending for slams once more, but if not, she can forget it. Either way, she has accomplished a lot already.

  • Wow why couldnt Maria play like this against her at the 2010 US Open. She wouldve won for sure if she had played like this

  • @amb817 The problem with Maria is that she's a very streaky player. There are times she gets on fire where her serve is booming, and she is striking winners from all over the place, and then they are times that her serve really lets her down that where's she commits a lot of double faults and unforced errors and then gets frustrated with herself for doing that. She is a great player, and when she is on like in this video, she is so incredibly tough to beat, by anyone. The problem is that

  • it is impossible to choose between the two. They are beautiful

  • What I can't believe is that Sharapova played this brand of tennis in this exo but then went on to lose in the 1st round of the AO to Kirilenko, someone I feel Sharapova should crush each time. In the USO I would've thought Sharapova would've at least taken the match to 3 sets against Woz, but she got super frustrated that the ball kept coming back, then tried to go for even more too soon, and we know how that turned out.

  • @Impulsensx Well, there's an huge difference between an exhibition and an grand slam event.

  • @JujuFan123 Good point, the weight of expectation is a lot different. In both of those matches I mentioned you could see the pressure in Sharapova's face and body language, especially when things started going south.

  • @Impulsensx Well, I heard that she's going to play Auckland, an actual tournament next year. Probably the most decent decision she has made in the last 3 years. I also don't see Sharapova winning another grand slam, unfortunately. She is not very physically strong as she used to be, she can't even play 5 matches each day and then not run out of gas, so, unless she works on her fitness, there's no way she'll be able to go all the way at a major again.

  • @JujuFan123 Agreed. She clearly can't get away with not playing a tournament before a major as some other champs can. I also don't see her winning another major because there are too many girls that can take her down before she even gets to the business end, not to mention how susceptible to fatigue she was during the USO series.

  • @Impulsensx It's so sad to see her physical state at only 23 years of age. Between 2004 - 2008, she was so intense and focussed on winning every single point, now I don't see that same passion in her eyes anymore. It's really rather sad to see. Honestly though, she's had a lot of tough matches this season in which she's had her chances and hasn't capitalized on them which is got to be frustrating for her. But what she needs to do though is, what she should have done a long time ago

  • @JujuFan123 is get a new team. Clearly, whoever her team is at the moment is not helping her. Her serve which used to be a huge asset to her game is now a liability to her game, she has always had an great game from the baseline, but it's not enough anymore. She needs to come to the net more, because when she comes to the net, she's amazing. In AO 2008, she came to the net so many times winning so many of those points. She needs to develop her game and be more than just a baseliner.

  • guys! take a closer look on the ball on 0:23.. if you're watching prince of tennis it's really possible to do ryoma's drive b.. wew! how cool!

  • This Maria was so fierce. She did well at the beginning of this year, but had a mediocre later part of this season. I believe that she would be fiercer and be able to beat top players like she did before next year. Go Masha 2011!

  • it's great to see MaSha getting back to her old shape... i couldn't believe this is 2010, for me it looks 2008 before the shoulder injury, of course... look at that serve and accuracy on down the line shots... forehand, backhand.. that aggresive play... oh my! i just love Sharapova and she'll get back on top, im pretty sure, she just needs more concistency and stay healthy... THANKS for the video. great winners all match long!!! =D

  • she said exo3 black is ruining my arm...she played here so well..she should's changed this aweosome racquet!

  • i think that Wozniacky never go to win a Grand Slam.

  • @DaJokern it's fucking NOT!!!!!!

if u would fucking know me you would know i make highlights of matches and put EVERY WINNER from both players in the match.

    Idiotic comment!!

  • @DaJokern and watch the mother fucking whole thing b4 u comment! it doesn't look like u did!!!!!

  • Never expected Sharapova played that well, great serve and many aces.. can't believe Wozniacki was unable to return the ball. Well, eventually Wozniacki is now ranked world No.1. Congrats.

  • The next time Maria and Caroline play, Caroline better be ready. Maria will kick her ass real bad. That pusher only got lucky at the open as was playing her best. Peak Maria > Peak Caroline, and it's not even close as Caro will be pummeled to oblivion.

  • @MariaSharapovaIsLove You might be right. The problem only is, that it seems we are going to wait a very long time for Maria to peak.......maybe indefinetely.

  • Everybody knows That When Marias "A" Game is ON nobody will beat her an i mean nobdoy...she has proved it sooooo many times what she can do,and she'll prove it again and again you'll see! =D VAMOS MASHA!!!

P.S Look at them Forehands and backhands AMAZING stuff

  • @djfitzy Serena, Clijsters, Henin have/can beat Maria when her "A" game is on, which is not often these days.

  • @skribblex wuts "A" game?...sorry i don't get it...=/

  • @skribblex nope when Maria is on her "A" game she has proved she can beat all the players u mentioned, she has done it once if not numerous times! so shhh!! does she haveto keep proving it??

  • Why that position of Wozniacki at the 3: 06 she look vulgar.

  • Comment removed

  • the onyl good thing about sharapova is her service, without that one she is fking walking russian pit of shame. She only has 1 MONOTONE type of gameplay, if things get ugly -as usual-no plan B. The reason why she can't regain a top 10 ranking!!!

  • Maria won Wimbledon when she was 16 years old, Wozniacki 20 and never had win a Grand Slam.

  • @theirland Well Wozniacki won Wimbledon when she was 15 years old.

  • @lokumsbraet Where? Maybe the junior, hehehehehe.

  • @theirland Exactly !!! Not bad eh :-)

  • Maria 23 years old, not 24.

  • Love them both not just for their amazing beauty but because they actually kick ass on the court. Maria at 24 and Caroline at 20 will no doubt have many memorable and epic battles of mind, body and spirit.

The men might get top billing but the cold hard fact is that the women are the ones who bring the crowds. women's tennis has come a long long way and as the old guard gracefully give way to the new warriors of the courts the possibilities are boundless.

    GOD BLESS WOMEN'S TENNIS.......

  • I wonder who will jump on the pusher's bandwagon?

  • Well obviously Caro would win against sharapova when Marias playing the way she is. Why is she choking in her big matches? French Open,Wimbledon, and now here In the US. She's very difficult to root for when she can't even make a quarterfinal.

  • Soon the world will learn the name Wozniacki, it may not be in this years US open, but she will take several grand slams in her career!

  • LISTEN! if Caro beats Maria in the US Open then ill respect here cuz she needs a big win like this to prove herself to me, ive always liked her personality so if she can make me respect her with her winning the match and not maria giving it then ill 100% respect her more.

  • @JamiieOwen3T She just did. Exposed her dumb ball bashing game.

  • @forcemajeur08 don't hate! i gave Caro full credit for the match, and maria wasn't alway "ball bashing" her drop shots were quite great in the match. and she won more net points than she lost which is a positive.

  • @JamiieOwen3T I'm not hating. I just found it frustrating that Maria didn't have any plan B at all. I wanted the match to go to three sets but Woz was just too good. Woz was mixing it up and keeping her unforced errors in check as usual. But being a fan of Woz, it was great she defeated her in straights. I felt Woz vindicated herself from the people who call her pusher who can't hit a winner.

  • @forcemajeur08 Well, I take brainless ballbashing over brainless pushing anyday, but that's just my opinion. Maria at least knows the word ANGLES, instead of hitting everything through the middle. Granted, Wozniacki improved her game since this match, but IMHO she still has a long way to go to become a worthy number one.

  • @ChessboyJohnny. From your username, I take it you like chess. Well in that case, I just don't understand why you would say Caroline is a dumb pusher when most of the coaches and tennis players I talk to, and pundits I read opinions of various tennis magazines say she plays a very intelligent and varied game that reminds them very much of Hingis (who is famously known for her chess like approach to the game). It's just mind boggling, coming from someone like you to say Caro is a dumb pusher.

  • @forcemajeur08 I really like Hingis, because I indeed play a lot chess as well as tennis, and her tactics and court sense were amazing. But I fail to see this talent in Caroline, at least in this level. Hingis could volley, Caroline's net play is almost the same as Maria's (no further explanation needed :P) She can moonball, sure, but I never see her slice. And Hingis constantly challenged the top players like Serena or Davenport, while Caroline has only beaten a Sharapova in doubtful form.

  • @ChessboyJohnny So basically, you're saying that Chanda Rubin, Darren Cahill and Chris Evert who all said that her approach to the game and style is reminiscent of Hingis are wrong? Right?

You don't have to like her and her game but you gotta give credit where it is due.

  • @JamiieOwen3T And there you have it... :)

  • @Extraneus73 the double faults in a row bothered me as maria just gave games away also 3 in a row two times was just horrible, BUT Caro deffinetely deserves respect for the win,her backhand is tryly a beauty hers and maria's backhands along with venus and serena are the best backhands out there, Caroline tennis wise has gained my full respect like i said i already adored her personality ever since i first saw her so, you guys will be seeing some caro highlights in my videos soon ;)

  • @Extraneus73 but i have to mention i don't think maria returned great when she should have, missing 3 attackable serves was frustrating to her and her fans im sure, but i said yesterday on TF if she beats maria she deservs the title so hopefully she'll get her first slam ;)

  • Lets also not forget that about a week or two later Sharapova LOST in the FIRST round of Australia. So maybe Wozniacki has improved, but obviously so has Maria, its definately a possibility that CaroWoz can beat her, I just dont see it happening. But stranger things have happened.

  • 3 times face to face both and Sharapova had win. No chance for Wozniacki in this US Open.

  • GO maria! I love you,kick Skwozniacki

  • lets not forget Caroline was ranked 30th in the world went this match took place. Caroline is a much better player today then when this match took place, so my money is on Caroline to win on Monday against sharapova in the fourth round match.

  • @sijelart Are you kidding? This happened January this year. Caroline was already a top 10 player with a US Open final and YEC experience.

  • @thegreendestiny And Maria just had her butt handed to her... :D Caro just need to get her offence in better shape and she'll be a comfortable world no. 1.

  • @Extraneus73 with serena still playing im not sure she can be a comfortable number one but like you said if she can get her offence in better shape she will be fighting for it closely with Serena.

  • @sijelart Yep, me too. My money is on her. Caro being a natural counter puncher, realized that she has to go more for her shots to go to the next level. She has become more aggressive without compromising her consistency as evidenced by her latest performances, something Jankovic has failed to do.

  • @sijelart do you know what you're talking about? because you sure don't sound like you do.

  • @JamieOwen03 well since Caroline beat Maria today i think i should be the one asking did u watch the match today cuz Maria self-destructed wit her unforced errors thanks to Coraline's defense.

  • @sijelart Again? Wozniaki never had win to Sharapova. In this exhibition won, in Rome and Doha Sharapova also beats to your Wozniaki.

  • if only maria could play like this in real tournaments:( and carol is on fire this period so at the US open i d bet on caroline over maria

  • @zentheos i never pick caro over maria, her game just doesn't fit to defeat maria unless maria is off.

  • @JamiieOwen3T well unfortunately maria isnt at her best in this US open.she has to dramatically improve to win carol next week

  • @zentheos that's just it, it's all in maria's hands. she either loses the match because of errors or she wins it wih blasing winners.

  • @JamiieOwen3T Yes, i agree with you!

  • @JamiieOwen3T she lost... but i was rooting for wozniacki

  • @JamiieOwen3T She tough defensively - she's the perfect match for a hard hitter like Sharapova! Now, if she can get her offence up to or even close to the standard of her defence, we have ourselves the new world no. 1...

  • cant wait for a maria caroline clash at the us open =)

maria has a big chance to go deep into the draw and even win the whole tournament!! =)

  • maria rox! cant wait to see her crush wozniacki in the us open.

  • @sharapovaslaveboy Better luck next time... :)

  • Jezz...Those are all good winners.

  • maria plays much better than woziniaki.. caroline woziaki wll never be a great champion as maria

  • man...jamie thx a lot...MASHA 4 eva
