  • Your doing it totally wrong! This video would have a million views if you did it right!

  • Downtown L.A. has no "street entrances" to its few eating establishments. Eating establishments are all restricted to high-rise interiors, and that is during regular business hours. The street grid north of Wilshire, west of Western and South of the Hollywood Hills ending at Pacific Coast Highway is all that remains of the L.A. that I once knew. Outside of the Financial District, eating and retail establishments are worthy of the Third World.

  • what time was this when you where driving around,so i'd know cause i'm movin there this spring.

  • @eddiesha1 1am - 2am

  • "NY is better" "No LA is better"...What the fucks going on here!! We should embrace each others cities. Its in America, I fucking love it!

  • @insideyourpants1 DAMN RIGHT couldn't of said it better myself

  • LOS ANGELES SEEMS LIKE A DEPRESSING CITY, SERIOUSLY!.

NEW YORK CITY & CHICAGO IS SO MUCH BETTER LOOKING TO LOOK AT!.

  • @TLJAWSIMIB

I've been to all 3, and I'd say LA is the best. It's much more soothing and the weather's nice.

  • @MissONTM I HAVE BEEN TO ALL 3 AS WELL!. NYC IS FAR THE BEST!.

  • @TLJAWSIMIB

No, I don't think that's true. Imo. California has the best weather. Everything is much more calm and quiet.

  • @MissONTM WHATEVER!.

  • First I thought...wow either you are addicted to driving or have been encarcerated your entire life and just got freed. But after really seeing this video it opens up beauty that I would never have noticed because my moods while driving in traffic would sidetrack my senses furthurmore disabling my ability to appreciate this. I guess there is a beauty that lies in every busy city and its even more beautiful when it rests.

  • I miss LA so much. People there are so friendly compared to where I live now...

  • @omgwhateveretc WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW!.?

  • this is DOWNTOWN los angeles? the 2nd biggest city in the country with almost 4 million? wow. i guess it's true...there is no other city like new york. the streets in this video are dark and deserted.

  • @lordhelmit3 haha yeah, Downtown is pretty much dead at night. If you want something livelier you need to go to hollywood.

  • @koaxi from what i've heard, hollywood is trash and hookers with a few neon lights. lol

  • @lordhelmit3 haha nope. Just of one of the many misconceptions surrounding southern California. Sure as with any major urban area you will find places of questionable taste but that does not mean we're all living in a giant rat hole.

  • @koaxi very true very true. you should see camden, nj damn thats a sad sight lol luckily im in ny so i only see it when going to philly. but look at this video of manhattan and tell me it dont look amaziing :D

    /watch?v=REJPttfcxho

  • @lordhelmit3 It really does. NYC is a beautiful city, BUT! the west coast is where it's at. :D :D :D

  • @koaxi lol, im more a san fran fan [haha] than LA though

  • @lordhelmit3 "there is no other city like new york. the streets in this video are dark and deserted. " I used to live in NYC for years, and many parts of the city are deserted at night too, such as large parts of Midtown and downtown. On the weekdays, you could expect to see a tumbleweed blowing down Park Ave, although it always turns out just to be garbage or a NY Post. L.A., just as with NYC, has it's nightlife areas, and it's office and business areas, which die when the work day is over.

  • @jch009tia midtown would never be deserted. you must have not actually lived in new york. maybe parts of the outer boroughs, but midtown manhattan would never be deserted, and NO part of manhattan would be deserted as early as this video. yeah, places like greenwich village or the upper east/west side will be a bit quieter because theyre residential, but broadway, 7th ave, 6th ave, 5th ave will very rarely be deserted. especially this early.

  • @lordhelmit3 You couldn't be more wrong. Greenwich Village is lively at night - it has NYU, it has many barss, clubs, and restaurants and it like it's counterparts the East Village and The MP, it it has many people out on the street at night.

Don't tell me where or where I haven't lived - your ignorance seems to know no bounds. I speak from years of experience. It is a romantic idea that "all of Manhattan" - to put it your way - "never sleeps," but that's a fairy tale.

  • @jch009tia apparently you are more ignorant than me then, which according to you is pretty bad. read my comment. i said greenwich village would be QUIETER. oh course it has NYU, but like i said GV is largely residential. st marks place is pretty lively though. i never said manhattan "never sleeps". i said that manhattan would NOT be this deserted [as Los Angeles is in THIS video] THIS early. like this early as in how early it is in the video. read my comment correctly next time.

  • @jch009tia and you really DONT know what you're talking about if you think midtown manhattan gets this deserted before like...midnight. midtown stays alive for quite awhile. please stop making yourself look any more like a fool.

  • @lordhelmit3 haha, Manhattan stays "awake" all day, and all night. and NY is hell of a better city than LA.

  • @WhiteSugarFive that's what you think man NY isn't half the size of L.A. NY just looks like a crappy little island full of old ass buildings that are not even interesting.. L.A. is 100 million times why more spread out also their downtown looks alot better L.A.'s skscrapers look alot more better plus way more expensive wich they are.. L.A. is know as the city of angels for a reason man... guess you little new yokes don't know the life of a major city L.A. KING Of CITIES!!!!!!!!

  • @1skylinedreamz You trolling? NY is the biggest city in America, and it's downtown is a whole entire island (Manhattan island). So, if you like expansive, huge areas with lots of skyscrapers as a downtown then you'd enjoy the fuck out of NY. NY has culture, history and has a better downtown than LA. LA has a bunch of kids running around shooting eachother.

  • @lordhelmit3 Well no one wants to get jumped when they're walking down the streets..

And LA isn't usually like this actually... They probably filmed really late at night or really early in the morning..

If you really wanna see something go to a different part of LA....

  • One reason I left LA after living there for 6 years. I miss cities like San Francisco, Chicago or New York City. Cities with real downtown areas, and a centralized location where you can feel like you are in a city not a sprawl suburb, and have all the shopping you want. I don't care about the weather or the media aspects of LA. It is a great place to visit. It is not my cup of tea, never felt like a city to me anyway.

  • L.A is my DREAM! I want too move there when i get older :)

That comment ^ up there saying about it's too dangerous too walk out..

Is it as bad as people make it out too be? Or is it just movies over exagerating?

  • @mariahandchristina Only in a couple of neighborhoods. It's not too bad in the newer Downtown areas, but in Skid Row and Pico Union, it is a bit dangerous.

  • what time of night was this taken? for a big ity there's barely any cars out on the road

  • I love Los angeles I Was Born There

  • the city of angels <3

  • Ahh i'm so lucky to call this my home<3 :D no doubt

l.a is the best place to live in,

  • the ppl that say LA is too ugly, dangerous, at night or not safe you watch too many movies. I rather live in LA than in my city cuz theres too much violence in juarez near eptx . ppl here are haters not friendly at all i hate my city. i use to live with my aunt in LA but i thought ep was good and is not cuz of the ppl here not the city. im thinking of going back to LA I MISS IT SO MUCH!. califas is a good place to live but now with the economy i think its a lil' expensive. im in NAVY i can handle

  • @djnitro915 i am moving there from South Florida soon . Do you think it is wise for me to move now , i just graduated from college with business degree ?

  • @kadavikhan

what kind of job do u think you would get and which field of business are you in

  • @TheAcinNetwork i graduated with BBA in Marketing and Managment .

  • @TheAcinNetwork i graduated recently with BBA in Marketing and Managment .

  • @kadavikhan I can tell you this from my experience, when I graduated college, I went out there for a week to try and get a job before I moved there. I had no luck with my interviews so I decided to stay in florida. BUT, I did get a great idea of the area and I can tell you it's amazing there mainly because of the weather. Go out there for a few days if you can, or just apply online for jobs there. Look on craigslist LA because there is a TON of roms for rent. Good Luck

  • @dontay77 Thanks i just came back yesterday morning had a great time there . I am lucky to have relatives that live there . i stayed with them and expolre the city , i went for couple for interviews the job is not my type as it is commisson based. i am thinking to move there around Dec or January get like a odd jobs while looking for job in my field . What do you think i should move without getting a job ? i got a job here related to my field and pays good too but i don't like to live here

  • @kadavikhan Since you have family living there that's even better if you are able to stay with them for a little while. I mean it's one of those things where you cant move there without a job, but at the same time you cant get a job unless you move there. So if you can stay with family to get on your feet and get that better job then def. go for it.

  • @dontay77 hmm i jut get got a job offer from a firm in Florida the pay is pretty good especially when the economy is bad and hard to find a job during this times the working hours kind of sucks but the job is a easy job just follow up with customer accounts , but i really want to live in LA . life in Florida is so boring :( only beaches here . What shall i do : (

  • @kadavikhan A job offer what's that? I never get those!!! haha...Well maybe you can take this job for like 6 months tosave a little more for your move out there. I would take this job if you are having trouble finding work since it could be a long time before something else comes along. I have a college degree and I cant find anything. Keep me posted!

  • @kadavikhan so i lost my job it is actually a sales job i could not keep up with quota and i was force to resign i was feeling depressed on that job anyways coz of the late night shift and on top of that i don't like to live in Florida anymore life here is so boring i really want to live in LA even though the economy is worse now :( i wish i can go now and start a odd jobs there before i get something real

  • this is just gorgeous!preciosa bella!

  • MUSIC PLEASE?

  • LA is too dangerous walk outside during night cuz of the gang relating

  • You watch to many movies lol

  • not really downtown its calm but south central is were the violence is???

  • Yeah, but it's true isn't it? LA is not that safe at night time.

  • @volny THANK YOU. VERY VERRRRY TRUE!!

  • @volny

    Breathtaking video Volny!

In a few years I'm moving back to LA (where I was born and moved away from at the age of five) and I've been watching a lot of your video's. Anyway, I just wanted to say that you should put more beautiful music like this with your videos. The beautiful music really does your video justice, its just a breathtaking combination! :)

Anyway, thumbs up (as always with your vids) and keep up the great work!

  • @Audiomonster99 not really

  • @Audiomonster99 Dude, do you live in L.A??? I doubt that, stop watching movies and Tv shows.

  • @Audiomonster99 lol is it really ?! or you watch too much Hollywood fantasy movies lol

  • @Audiomonster99 LOL if only you lived here. Been living here for 23 years, and I've yet to encounter problems at night.

  • @Audiomonster99 you retarded muthafacka !!! it is dangerous if you are in compton or some other shit hole !!! but in downtown around L A live you ain't in no danger !!

  • @32574 LOL, please turn off your tv. I'm from Compton and I would feel safer walking around Compton than Downtown LA any day!

  • @32574 downtown la is pretty bad..wow u got skidrow..(dat alone should be enough 2 keep u from coming here again) u got pico union one of the poorest neighborhoods home 2 ms 13 &18 street and a shit load of other gangs ...comptons bad but downtown is just as bad or worst...nonetheless i love being dere and goin 2 one of my favorite restaurants near mcarthur park called el taurino..delicious burritos

  • @Audiomonster99 WOW man you seriously watch way to many movies

  • @Audiomonster99 that's only in some parts, not the whole city

  • @Audiomonster99 you are oviously thinking of the hood in la

  • @Audiomonster99 Dude, your a joke

  • @Audiomonster99 downtown in not dangerous at all, if you stay in the north and downtown LA you are safe, but if you go out in south central LA you might be in danger, so don't wear red or blue clothes if you go to south LA, gangs may see you as a enemy.

  • I love both Los Angeles and New York City... you just gotta love em both for their pros and cons. You cant even do much in San Francisco compared to L.A. I would much prefer Los Angeles' Hollywood, Nokia Plaza, or Citywalk to be as close to New York City's Times Square than San Francisco's Union Square hahaha.. San Francisco has no entertainment and night life like L.A. and NYC and SF has no lights like the other two cities... ALSO!! SF's population is small compared to L.A. and NYC.

  • Hello my friend? you're polish, arent you? I just want to tell something: despite of your english accent, which isn't worse than mine, I love your videos. Honestly. The tallest building, and you were there, is called the US bank Tower or The Library Tower, you shoot it very close to the L.A. public library. Anways, I love I los angeles, and I also loved your videos. Greetings from Spain.!

  • TOO SHAKY

  • New York City is way better than LA.

  • New York stinks, LA is a better city, has better weather, and knows how to put on a show when needed. New York is ancient now. LA is taking over New Years Eve... GO Lakers!!

  • Why do you say that? Because it's bigger?

  • Bigger, more cultural, more things to see and do, better food, lots of people.

  • I want to move in the Los Angeles Vincinity. I'd rather be in L.A. than in New You too. I never been to L.A. & would like to move there one day. Are you from L.A.?

  • lol I would rather be in NY than LA. No, I'm not from LA.

  • Have you ever been to L.A.? Where are you from?

  • No and I am from Sydney

  • Sydney, Austraillia?

  • Yes, Australia.

  • What is it like living there?

    How old are you?

Have you been living there all your life?

  • Why don't we continue this conversation in messages. We're making too many video comments lol.

  • Well that was my last question I was going to ask you & I'm through.

  • But seriously if you're NOT from L.A. how do you know so much about it & you're from Australlia?

  • lol I don't know much about it but I can observe from what I've seen. I've been to New York before and I much prefer there over LA because from what I've seen about LA, it's more of a go surfing and shopping kind of city. It's really sunny and expensive and the people there are probably really rich and snobby.

  • Majority of people say New York City, San Francisco are more expensive than L.A. And it's more opportunities in L.A. than in New York. Although New York is bigger. I just prefer L.A. But for the umteeth time already, WHERE R U FROM?

  • I just said I'm from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

  • Oh I'm sorry man. You have to excuse me. I constanly talk to different people on here about L.A. Are you going to move to the USA anytime soon?

  • I'll try lol

  • So you've been in Australlia ALL you life?

  • Yessir

  • Watch out. I heard that then.

  • Hey....I saw these Buildings in Independence Day.....

  • yeah that's the building that the ladie was standing on holding up the signs..lol.. dumbass.

  • Yeah.....i would run away as fast as i can....

  • Are there any fine women in Los Angeles?

  • L.A has plenty of Fine women out here.. The good thing about it is that you can choose whatever you want. Black, White, Mexican, Asian, etc, I love LA..

  • So it's that easy getting a girl in L.A.? And Where do they usually be at?

  • If you would like to watch this video in real HD (1280x720) put in adress bar at the end "&fmt=22" without "".

    Nice video,

    Regards
