hey man i have 2 amps with a total of 120 amps and i have an 01 mustang with a rebuilt stock 130 amp alt. and i was wondering what you would recommend me doing because i need more power. Do you suggest a certain alt or dual alts or what?

@ibanezrocker411 I need a little more info about your system to help you out. Are you still running the equipment in your videos? If so upgrading the big 3 and a decent AGM battery under the hood should be sufficient.

nope each type r is powered by a alpine mrp-m850 mono block amp they put out a round 900w rms so I have the gain way down so I don't smoke the voice coils

hifonics makes quality amps that can take a beating the only thing is I think there a little overrated (a 1,200w rms amp probably puts outs around 950-1,000w) but I'd say there definitely worth the money. I have a hifonics 2 channel 1,000w rms amp I trying to sell let me know if your interested

hey dude im pretty new to the sub thing but i have 2003 stang and my head lights always dim out when the sub hits i have a 12' type r 1200 watt alpine amp and a tsunami 2 farad capacitor u think the cap will fix the problem an any suggestions on hookin it up?? thanks man

1 amp per sub. you should get the dual 2ohm type r so you can run them at 4ohms and not have to worry about burning your voice coils mine are the daul 4ohm I'm running em 2ohms so I got the gain on the amps turned down cuz those amps put out close to 900w rms @ 2ohms. and I would go with a ported box I'm a little disappointed with the box I have, the lows are good but I think they'd be louder in a ported box.I'm gonna build one when I get the loot.
