  • you should show more of that , out your window for those of us whove never been bofore and would love to go ...lucky you.. i live in alaska...maybe you feel the same way about me....but i admire this place and you and all its flaws

  • omg i think i see britney speares perfume at 4:11 haha

  • i love the steps at the entrance

  • Me too, they're a good workout when you come home with groceries and a baby lol

  • your son is adorable!

  • That mat looks so familiar almost like i had the same one as a baby! i swear! lol weird. nice video though <3

  • is Blake your son

  • Yes

  • Wow, i love the view!

  • you have such a wonderful house Emmalina,

I'm really jealous of the weather you get in Tasmania, it rains in summer over there you are so lucky I really don't like hot weather so I can't wait untill July :)

  • great tour

  • you have a beautiful home Emmalina! (:

  • I love the view from the window its very pretty.

  • well ur house is really pretty .. in what part of Aus is it ?? . im thinking to go to prove luck to ur country so i need recommendations to do that trip ... i would like to live there a, very quiet zone .. pls answer me dear and good luck

  • Sure come a long way. Congrats.

  • Your home is absolutely beautiful! I wish to goodness my home was half as organized as yours. I have too much stuff. How do people do that??? Where do people put their stuff??? AHHHHH! Anywho, thanks for sharing, I love seeing inside people's homes. <3

  • lovely house, thank you for sharing it with us

  • Do you feel secured living in that place? From the video it seems the back of your house is open to a park(?). I donno, it seems like one of those Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies! Why not living in a condo?

  • Yeah we feel secure, it's just a bit of bushland...I love being so close to it! We often get wallabies and kangaroos back there. This place is just as secure as any other, lol...the doors have deadlocks etc. Isn't a condo a place where you have to share amenities? I'd hate that and with a baby it'd be completely ridiculous, the amount of laundry washing I have...lol...or maybe you just mean an apartment. Those here are very expensive.

  • I live backing onto a park. I think it's more common in Australian suburbs. There doesn't really seem to be any fear, unless you know your in a really, really dodgy area.

It's more viewed as an added bonus - extra backyard!

I remember you saying you live in Tasmania - is the mountain you look out onto Mt Wellington?

  • It sure is :)

  • Oh wait, the hills that you see out of my living room window aren't Mt Wellington, those are just hills. Mt Wellington is through the window at the top of our stairs (near Daniel's big plant, where I show the road that I wave to him on)...I'm not sure if you can see it in the video because it's pretty cloudy

  • And if it wasn't cloudy you'd also see it again through the kitchen window

  • Yeah, I thought it was that one at the top of the stairs. Beautiful view :)

I'd love to travel back to Hobart soon - I've got a friend studying at the conservatorium.

  • So clean and neat!

  • what a pretty house! :) WOW its so weird for xmas to be on summer lol

  • Thanks for sharing a tour of your nice home. Nice outside view from your living room window.

  • Your house is lovely :) I'd love to live there myself!

  • Your house is so lovely! You have great taste too, I love your deco! :)

  • Very cute house! But...the toilet is in its own room? And there's a separate shower and bathtub in the same bathroom? Is that common in Tasmania?

  • Lovely home Emma! :) i'm so happy for you, and your living room window is lovely! X

  • omg emma your house is gorgeous. your little laughing fit when you went to the back door cracked me the fuck up lmao :] but seriously, i love love LOVE your house, and you decorate it so well. <3

  • I loved the backdoor comment and also the pussy flap :) you need another one so that you can ask daniel to open/shut the pussy flaps lol.

  • flush the toilet so we can see the water spinning the opposite direction of us northerners.

  • wow, i live just outside of NYC and you can't get even get a tiny little studio for less than $800/mo unless you're friends with a landlord

  • Finally watched this. What an adorable little home!! I could never do a tour of my house, it's so hilariously messy because all three of us are packrats. It's clean, but there's stuff everywhere.

  • i love your docent-like tour talk, very enjoyable and your house seems perfect for you and daniel and blake, for the moment. I hope everything is going well between you and Daniel!

  • That's a very nice home, you two must have good jobs.

  • outright self obsession at this point

  • Yet who's watching? Nevermind, that's easy fixed, I unsubscribed you. :)

  • very cute. australian toilets are so weird looking.

  • You have the kind of house that I want one day. Somewhere that is not too big but not too small. And somewhere where my boyfriend or husband and I can live and raise a child.

  • Your house is sooo cute! Only $290 a week too? That's amazing!

  • @karawr89 I know! People on formspring were talking about how expensive it is...I'm like...whaaa!? That gross floral-carpet old place I lived in before with mold and pest problems was $270. AND THIS NEW PLACE EVEN HAS A DEPARTURE AREA.

  • that's such a nice place, woah.

and it's so lovely decorated ^^

  • haha I asked you to do a house tour and now you did so i feel extra special! :)

  • I was the one who asked on formspring!

  • You really have a lovely home! I wish our place was that big and with such nice outdoor space. P.S. Add me back again on lj (norway_girl), I was a victim of the cut? lol

  • Oooo, I am jealous! That is a nice house.

One day, I too hope to have a house with a departure area. So fancy! :-p

  • wow you have a nice big place.

  • wow you have a neat and CLEAN house!!! love it

  • wow that's a nice place you guys have there. are you guys renting or do you own the house?

  • What a view! Your home is absolutely gorgeous.

  • OMG, you have a GORGEOUS home! Do you own or rent?

LOL my son has that bath toy too, he got it for Xmas as well, his first back in 07 :) Ours dont bloody stay stuck though! They always fall :[

We have the birth-12mth pic frame also! SNAP! I was born in Tassie too so theres another piece of useless similarity :D

OMFG- even the same condoms!!! Sheesh!

  • You're going to look back at this in 20 years and reminisce fondly over the memories you are creating for yourself now. You have a great life and it's nice to feel a little bit a part of it, hah :)

  • Lovely house, you have an awesome view! Blake's room is super cute too. :)

  • wow your very neat and tidy!

  • Nice House Emma, very very nice.

One thing though - was that a hairdryer I spotted in the bathroom? tut tut!

  • you are a serious mother , it shows , I love your home decor. Your home is well designed and built by developer. But one thing the stairs is different than in US. building codes are may be different in Australia.

  • That is a great place. Here I am in a small apartment. And you live in a place like that! I am moving!. Beautiful.

  • OMG your house is amazing, i know that sounds crazy but the way it is built..i never seen a house like that here in the US! I have to move to Australia lol!

  • wow, your toilets are separate from the rest of bathroom unlike here in America! I love the house none the less :)

  • I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure that's how it's done in Europe too.

  • I can only speak for Norway and Germany, but we usually have the toilet IN the bathroom. ;)

  • @xXNorwaygirlXx I think it's because there is only one bathroom, so if someone is in the shower, someone can still use the toilet. My apartment in America is 3 bedrooms and 1 bath with the separate toilet, and I always figured that was why.

  • Surely that depends on the design of the house, not the country. I've seen that in various places.

  • i love yourplace! i should relocate haha

  • So...it's summer in Australia when it's winter in America?

  • yep

  • show us the fridge! lol

  • so jealous it's summer there, I'm freezing lol

  • that's a great view!!! =] beautiful home. <3

  • Such a nice place. All the rentals here in nsw r shit :(

  • you have such a beautiful house !

i love the view from the windows !

oh and there is that strawberry you love !

haaha yea mom just moved my comp into my room from the kittie room and i'm so happy because she sprayed so much air freshener every time the cats made a stinky ! gah ! i could feel it in my mouth and nose ! oh no i have ducks too and ma says if i don't get the water out after my bathes mold will grow inside ! i had a dream i was in ur house once.. but one u had with luke. love u!

  • Sigh I'm having so much trouble finding a rental. The place today was SO beautiful & people were going "eh it's alright". Sigh they'll probably get it because they're richer than us.

I love your view & your loungeroom is a good size

  • You're place is so gorgeous! I'm jealous!

  • well ok than i'll settle for 2nd comment! lol cool house emmalina
