Yes I read Vic's book too and was lucky enough to get it signed. Apparently he always gets stick from family and friends when this episode is shown. It is a classic though.
A classic episode that still stands up well. The hard case in the leather jacket is the legendary Vic Armstrong who went on to double all the action heroes notably Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones.
@durangokid1 - Reading Armstrong's autobiography and found this episode. According to VA the producers brought in some of England's best stunt men to do the fight scene. And Armstrong was really honored to be acting in a show he'd been watching for years.
I first saw this when I was about 7 or 8. By the end of the show I was crying with laughter.I`d never seen anything as funny In my life. The genius of Galton and Simpson !!!!!

it does not matter how small you are or how big your opponent is you can take them on if you really want.
I give you an example, my Hamster is 5 inches long and owns me everytime I try to clean out his cage. hehe

@nommynupple Not that lucky, as Marcia Wiggly was scared of bed bugs and waterbeds with knife slits in them. xD

Sometimes (not always), when Harold acts over-excited, it reminds me of Rik Mayall in Bottom.

@aStringersproduction Yeah can see what you mean, but Rik Mayall was bit more girlie and pervie.
