i agree with shadowpal2 in that she just has to work on her "live" singing. she has a beautiful voice and a wide vocal range, all she really needs is more practice. i think anyone who listens to her can see and hear just how amazing an artist she really is, and IMO she transcends a lot of the artists that are out there. i'm sorry, but miley cyrus, and the like, shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as olivia lufkin. its laughable. lol.

What an amazing artist. This is a true artist. She's a person who puts heart in her music. She's absolutely magical, unique, pure-hearted, and in my opinion a dream. I sometimes question if she's from this world because her music is just that amazing. A goddess of music in my opinion. It's a shame these whores like Miley cyrus and Jordin Sparks are famous for nothing.

Lol that's ok, but yea Olivia Lufkin is original. And it's true that she could use a bit more practice live however the main thing is that on stage, she's having fun no matter what. I noticed in her previous lives like the ones she did right after she came out with an album unfortunately weren't too good to the point where she'd cry thinking she didn't do her best. I feel sorry for her - but am amazed at how much passion she has in music. Then there are some other lives that are...goddess-like.

Right...I mean she just loves music which makes her such a strong and awesome artist in my opinion. I personally admire her for that and unfortunately don't think I would reach her heights of having such passion in music. It's just seriously goddess-like. Now there are those whores like Miley Cyrus and stuff who just do it for one reason and one reason only - MONEY. Just make crappy songs, have a big company like Disney supporting you and bam...you're there. Opposite of Olivia.

I cannot put into words how much I agree (: I find her music has this whimsical quality that you can't easily find in mainstream music, and her voice is beautiful ;D Not to mention I love the creativity that is evident in her lyrics!

Also, if you've heard her live of "Alone in our castle" you'll see (or hear) that she can be spectacular live, I just think she gets a little over-excited sometimes xD

(And in my opinion, Miley Cyrus can NOT sing :P)

I mostly agree with your post. I find Olivia like a breath of fresh air in a stale music industry.

With that being said I don't agree with you denouncing Jordin Sparks and Miley Cyrus as mere "whores". They are people, and while Miley's music sucks ass, that doesn't make her a whore by conventional standards, at least.

Jordin Sparks is not "famous for nothing" she fucking won American Idol! I like Olivia's music better, but Jordin beats her in terms of vocal abilities hands down, no question.

Whereas Olivia is more of a rocker, Jordin is more R&B oriented. Both artists are powerhouses. They speak through their music. And Olivia's voice just draws you in and holds your attention...
