i love the chillis - even one hot minute , which in my opinion is a great album - has the same dark feeling as say , blood sugar , sex magic - i will give there new stuff a chance when it comes out - but i dont think it will be the same without frusciante - i think john will return one day again

I hope John will return again, but I don't think that's the case. He wants to do his own thing, he hates touring, and I believe because he wanted out so bad it caused a lot of tension between them. If he comes back it might be to play on the album as a back up guitarist or vocalist...I doubt if they get rid of Josh after this album. It sucks too because I'll never get to experience a live emotional solo by my favorite guitarist.

I think I watched an interview or maybe read an interview of him saying that he doesn't like to tour because its 18 hours of traveling for only a few hours of playtime, and that he'd rather just spend all his time making music.

I get a weird feeling about his departure though, I think he and Kiedis, Flea, and Chad had a falling out...probably over the touring and how they wanted the new album to turn out. Just speculation, had to get it out.

Most likely just wants to make his own music.

Stadium Arcadium has some nice songs, but to me its a lot of filler tracks that don`t stand out on their own like their earlier work does. But that's my opinion,

Stadium Arcadium was a great album, fuck anyone who thinks other. Every song was perfect recording value. For 24.99 thats a great deal. And this mainstream shit, a song is a song. No Red Hot Chili Peppers song is mainstream. They just play for music, brotherly love, and everything between. All we do is love and listen so stay a Red Hot Chili Peppers fan and don't hate or dislike anything they do.

are you kidding me? BTW was a great album. The single was speed funk and Venice Queen was great listen. Have you heard them play live in live at slane castle? It was an amazing live performance.

I like all their stuff but this was probably the best album. Ive got the dvd documentary when they made BSSM. I think most of their work is unbridled by anything played on the radio today
