  • waight i take that back, my real opponion is: people who can't handle a car should not drive. also don't ride w people who can't drive it's stupid as shit!

  • it's called shifting or braking or turning in a circle

  • Good job Toyota

  • Its called a fucking key it turns and cuts all power to the engine off

  • Guess 911-Dial-O-Prayer didn't work out.

    Should have carried a firearm...

Gas stuck, no brakes, no neutral, can't turn off car, no worries.

Shoot the engine, it will stop, guaranteed.

  • The brakes went out because the driver made no effort to remove the power from the wheels. Period. Rocket scientists build rockets, and people who panic because of a lack of rational thought die in accidents like this. There was time for a call and then some. Instead of prayer there should of been logic. Really sorry it happens and I'm sad for the occupants, but facts are what they are. Facts.

  • so sad i can see it in my head what happened, but i can never imagine ._.

  • 1. Emergency Brake

    2. Neutral

    3. Turn engine off

  • I was on the same situation at age of 15 with a 1972 Lada 1300. (this is not a joke). I drove it with friends at country at fieldroads. Once, doing 120km/h, and closing intersection, I found out, that brake pedal went straight to the floor with no effect. I pulled with all my strenght the handbrake... Cable snapped! Then I turned ignition key so that ignition cut off but didn't lock the wheel. Motor didn't brake enough. Forced smaller gears in and pumped brakes. stopped 2 meters from interstate

  • couldn't he've just used the emergency brake?

  • These people were pretty dumb. Could have just turned the engine off and let the vehicle roll out until it stops.

  • @kontknager The car has the fancy push button start... he did not know how switch it off.

  • @label1877 wrong year car

  • @label1877 it damages the engine from the sudden force and can 90 percent cause the car engine to explode

  • @sardeess If the they could of gotten the engine to explode the car would of stopped. That would of been a good thing.

  • I dont see how a highway patrol officer wouldn't know to put it in neutral, slam on the brakes and take out the key, its not that hard to do.

  • @Aviator14

Or use the shoulder of the road. Many roads in California have "runaway lanes" filled with sand, but a curb, guardrail, or the likes would have a least slowed the car. He sounded so coll and calm, I am surprised he couldn't remember what the CHP themselves tell drivers to do.

  • this is sad

  • must have been god's will.

  • @jstewart0420 no god

  • @UnrealLord facetiousness... it eludes you.

  • neutral...brake. neutral... brake. if you dont know this please please learn it. so you dont kill me when i drive down the interstate.

  • @greatestsongsofLIFE your fuckin garbage.

  • thats so sad

  • at least it was the whole family so any of them in the car would suffer for the lost... stil very sad

  • pop car in neutral, apply brake. Engine will race, but car will have power brakes still and you can stop.

    Very sad though.

  • I love what you did to me------Toyoya !!!!!

  • If he put his car in neutral or depressed the clutch (for a manual) and hit the brakes, he would have been fine.

  • @jrtorres1337 its crazy that so many people, including 911 operators, aren't aware of such a simple way of neutralizing this sort of deadly situation. Of all the news reports in the past year, I have yet to hear one person in the media or a representative of Toyota tell anyone about this either.

  • @Stink808 Yeah, serriously, its not toyota's fault that most of drivers are half-witted americans.

Even if my pedal got stuck, atleast i actually know how to operate my vehicle. and if more cars in the USA used a stickshift, you could easily stall the engine.

  • @jrtorres1337

Keep the American hatred out of it. Many of the drivers in my home state are foreign drivers who cause major accidents out of proportion with their numbers. California teaches defensive driving. Funny (as in ironic) thing is that the runaway car issue is on at least one of the driver license tests. BTW, throwing the car into first gear at that speed will either cause the car to flip or just strip out the tranny and it may not disengage from the high gear.

  • clutch? or for automatics N. afterwards brake. Don't brake while full speed, you'll lose the brake hydraulics. don't care about the noise of the engine. better a destroyed engine than death. sad at all...

  • ... people need to learn how to drive.

    Oh well. very sad indeed.

  • milehighmudduck,3cressidas and quite a few other fucktards who have nothing to say but shit! Does it hurt being that fucking ignorant? Anyone who has anything to say other than sympathies to this poor family can go fuck yourselves. If anyone needs to be removed from the gene pool its you guys! You thinks you're all knowing and flawless, making stupid ass comments like it was suicide and american officers...you're only deserving of three more words out of my mouth...fuck you, idiots!

  • If You all and mr b*ngwater down there took your heads outta your a*es long enough to listen..you'd know they just picked a loaner car from lexus after they dropped off their recalled car...it wasn't their car! An entire family was wiped out! And you have nothing to say worth reading...real nice! I'm sure you've made your families proud.

My sincere sympathies go out to the rest of this family and their friends..it was a horrible accident and I hope some peace will come to you soon.

  • To The guy who said this is fake...you're a loser. Put the bong down and watch the news once in awhile...and to the rest of you that have nothing of value to add to the world but talk sh** about a chp officer who risked his life everyday to keep the streets safe for you losers...all you can say is what you would have done...well why don't you all line up to be crash test dummies for toyotas loaner cars then, huh?

  • don't give advice if you are not ready to take responsibility when someone tries what you wrote here and dies. #2 of your advice would results in steering wheel lock up and brake hydrolic system being shut down.... dumb ass

  • So you know more about Toyota that the people who made it? They made an informative video about Hybrids. If you turn the car off while the pedal is stuck, you will prevent acceleration and slow down. The steering and breaking will be harder but will not lock. WTF kinda car is ur retarded ass driving? 1831 ford?

  • Steering wheel doesn't lock up if you dont pull the key out of the ignition and the hydraulics on the braking system will still work. The idea is to shut of the electrical portion of the ignition which is one click (to acc) position from where the key sit while the vehicle is on. Now who is a dumb ass!

  • @DrInfidel

No. all you need to do is put it in neutral. If you turn the car off you will loose power steering and braking.

if you use hand break at any speed higher than 20ish you will loose control of the car.

  • I've never implied that I know more about the car than Toyota. I'm implying that YOU think you know more about it then Toyota. There is a reason why they are NOT giving advices on what to do when things like this happen. They don't know what's causing it so how can they give a responsible advice on what to do.

On the other hand. apparently you know exactly why it happens and listed 4 things to do when that happens.

    dumb fuk

  • Terribly unfortunate that these people perished due to an event that seemingly had incalculable odds!!

  • The wonders of advancing technology...

    Neutral...Neutral... Neutral.

  • To the big mouths on here who seem to know it all, read a little about this situation.

The people killed in the crash had just picked this car up minutes before. It was a rental. They probably had no clue or info that they had to hold the button in for 5 seconds to shut the engine off.

Imagine going down a freeway at 110mph and trying to hit and hold in a button on the dash for 5 seconds (that you probably werent told about) while at the same time holding in the brakes and avoiding traffic.

  • I agree with you a hundred percent .its easy for people to sit behind their computers and explain how to deal with the situation now that it has been explained over and over again. Being in a situation like that all that stress, traffic, passengers getting angry, car not responding like it should, it's not always so easy to do the right thing even if you know what to do when your under a great deal of stress. My heart goes out to the families of these people who lost their lives.

  • Comment removed

  • @shiznit765 save who? who are you talking to they are dead, with 5 people in this car im sure that wouldn't have worked, not one person knew.

  • Are you for real? Im talking to the people who are reading these comments! duh Obviously not the ones who passed away in this video! may they r.i.p! Just releasing valuable information for those who if they ever get in this kind of situation they know what to do!!! I could have 2 sumo wrestlers and 20 midgets dancing running around in my car and i can guarantee you I could shift the stick lever in neutral easily! no sweat! First thing people do is panic when this kind of shit happens!

  • why could you not just turn the car off?

  • If you just turned it off you can lose power steering, or worse your wheel could lock meaning you'd lose control of the vehicle. Plus if it's a push button there are different ways of switching off different cars.

  • I had this happen to my toyota seveeral times. I stepped on the brake and shifted to neutral- easy. I think the fact that this guy was a cop explains a lot. no one was listening to the operator: "turn off the car" . you have to hold the button down a few seconds. When you buy a car you should play around with it and figure out how things work, PRACTICE, and read the manual. Just like driving in the snow- PRACTICE in an empty parking lot so when an emergency comes you react properly.

  • A women testified to congress that she had the same thing happened to her in her Lexus SUV. She stepped on the brake, put it in neutral, reverse and tried to turn off the car. NONE of it worked. For some miraculous thing, her car started to slow down.

The LEXUS SUV, I heard, is a drive by wire, meaning everything is electronic like shifting and the brakes.

  • Let me rephrase that...how do u know what you would do if you were in that situation AND have never seen the million other youtube videos showing you how to stop your vehicle or even giving the chance to rationally assess the situation you were in???

Is that clear? You really should not judge something so harshly until you honestly put yourself in their shoes.

  • @britneylynn1241 I had the throttle stick on me in a seventy-six Impala, which had a 454c.i.d transplant in it. It was at 7:45 am on a fairly busy street, I had floored it for a second to make a light(it wasn't changing I just wanted to get there before it did) and it got stuck. The car was literally taking off. Within 1 1/2 blks I had it shut off and a plan to get out of traffic, with no power assist for steering or brakes. I was 17. You don't ask for help you act.

  • I agree with bworiginal....some of you people are just heartless....i really don't think you have ever been put in this situation so how do you know what you would do???

  • What about putting the shifter in neutral?

  • @gracezchen35

yeah....or try to E break or turn off the ignition/ key.. even u driving 120 sure it will slow u down...

  • Some of these comments on here are really un-related to this video.

    Sort of rude.

The people that died a few months ago in one of the most tragic, sad car crashes that I have ever known of have no idea that people are listening to a recording of their exploited 911 call on YouTube. Pretty sad, yet I am glad it's available.

I feel very sad for what happened, and I think there could be a little more sympathy shown for these people.

Unecessary comments should be avoided. Please.

  • @bworiginal STFU you self important asshole

  • Pueda ellos están en la memoria de Jehovás le ve en el paraíso

  • I am sorry, but why the FUCK would you even bother with 911??? YOU ARE THE ONE DRIVING. Total dipshit driver. Panic is no excuse. Sheeple mentality.

  • the guy driving didnt call 911!!!!! it was his borther in law that was with them!!!!!!!

  • The same thing happend to me in my camery. I really don't understand how these people get into accidents and die. This has happened 2 times now and I still drive my car. All I do is put the car in neutral and pull over. I turn the car off and back on in a minute and its fine! Its that fuckin easy.

  • ummm.. some of the cars have "push button start"

It makes the most sense to just shut the car off, but some cant.

  • The push button start does not make a difference. If you put the trasmission in "N" (neutral) it will no longer turn the drive shaft, therefor circumventing the throttle control. You will still have your breaks and can steer. Turn the car off when you have come to a complete stop.

  • i meant it as a reply from the guy below me.

some cant just shut the car off..

I have had to turn my car off on the highway. but started it again to get power braking back on.that was with the good old key in the ignition .

  • Not everybody knows that you can just put the car into neutral. Especially since they were going 120 and the guy was in a panic. It would have been possible to prevent this had the operator just told him to shift into neutral.

  • "Not everybod knows that you can just put the car in neutral" Thats the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Knowing about the gears of a car is pretty much a requirement of getting a license. If you don't know what neutral is or does or functions you shouldn't be driving...thats just moronic.

  • The driver and everyone inside was in a state of panic. when that happens, some people tend to get a mental block, they would forget ALMOST everything about different ways of putting a car to stop.

@youngn420 ... some people's mind isnt the same as yours... forgive them that they forgot about placing it in neutral...

  • Because you have a brain that functions well in an emergency and don't need some moron on the other end of a 911 call.

  • Thats actually a very good point. If you're in trouble while driving the last thing you should do is use cell phone. People just need to stay calm and do what it takes to render the situation in the best way possible.

  • some of you people are ridiclious, lets see how well u do driving ur car at 120 on a busy road heading for an intersection! the man obviously did everything he could think of to save his family... and maybe some how with everthing that was going on he didnt think to put it in neutral, if he even knew that would work.

  • My second car is is a dodge viper and I've done fine going 120 on busy roads..all though I don't risk it any more its actually pretty fun. Yes irresponsable but still fun.

  • Once breaking didn't seem to work, putting it in neutral should be the *first* automatic thought of any person who is a competent driver. If he had enough time to make a phone call, he had plenty time to do this.

The man behind the wheel, and anyone else in the car with a driver's license, was obviously highly incompetent as a driver and shouldn't have had a license.

  • the drivier was not on the phone with 911! wow.... say something smart and fail.

  • Listen again. It was the driver.

  • I do not understand, if the car 's fuel pedal got stuck by the floor mats and the speed of the car keep increasing, the thing can be done not to jam your break, try to switch your auto gear to 'N' (both auto and manual can be done), without the gear attached to your engine, the car will slow down even the engine keep running faster.

  • omg

  • Wow....chilling

  • Hey jayyvee will you stop that none sense! the guy already died and hes loveones why don't you just pray for them not by blaming on him! your lucky coz your not on hes position! accident happen that we didn't expect! and for those people who wants to blame someone better think on their side first! just keep safe everyone!

  • I certainly agree with you, If that will happen to me I wouldn't know what to do, I'm a new driver as well and I do not know everything about cars. My condolences to the man and his love ones.

  • Who the hell taught you how to drive a car???

    They should be fired.

  • Shift into neutral and use the handbrake. Or if wose comes to worst, drive in the median. It's not going to be pretty but at least you won't kill anyone else going through an intersection at 120.

  • @justin76bmw - before you make a comment how smart you are... IT'S NOT CHUCK DARWIN IDIOT!!!

  • Toyota makes a VERY safe and DEPENDABLE car, its a machine IDIOT, why have they sold THE #1 car in america the past 25 yrs.......put the car in neutral what is 911 gonna do?

  • The people who died in this accident were obviously panicked and not thinking clearly so all of you criticizing them are idiots. You can sit there and say, he should have done this, he should have done that but you weren't in the situation with the adrenaline flowing. So shut up. They did keep their heads enough to call 911, the operator didn't give them the information. Had he more time, perhaps he would have told them to put it in neutral. The fault here is Toyota's for making an unsafe car.

  • Comment removed

  • This call was a fake? This is a well known, well publicized story...you're an idiot for not knowing that. Toyota has publicly acknowledged their mistake. And if anyone is going to hell, it's you...

  • Do you have a problem with Americans? Jealousy maybe? Your profile says you are from the UAE. I can somewhat understand why you would be. I don't prefer Japanese cars over American. I acctually only purchase German cars. But you seem so biased. "Idiot american officer"? What would YOU do if you received that call?

  • I Think that question is not for me. Im a Italian working in Dubai as a consultant in F1 Race Circuit..I know everything about cars..Why i should jealous to a drunk american drivers. We have Ferrari, Lambourghini in our country..That 911 call is not true..it's only drama..That officer was drunk , do you belive that an american officer have lack of training just to put the car in neutral?? Idiot american officer? why? are you american?? God Bless you.

  • Well that's true. You do have Ferrari, Lambourghini. We have the ZR1, Viper, Aero. American muscle can't compete with the luxury of eurpean supercars, but when it comes to how much you get for your buck, I would choose a 100k ZR1 before a comparable 200k+ Ferrari. There's acctually been a large amounts of inccidents like this in America.

  • Although, I would expect someone who owns a Toyota that could possibly experience this problem to know what to do IF it were to happen.

  • Why doesn't he put the shifter into NEUTRAL and coast to a stop with the flashers on. It really sounds like a suicide.

  • Why would he put his fucking family at risk?! Are you really that stupid? HE OBVIOUSLY COULD PUT IT IN NEUTRAL! He was a highway patrol officer so he would of tried that.

Quit saying "blah blah he could of put it in neutral... shit like that." It wasnt Marks fault.

  • im utterly disgusted by the lack of maturity and sense by two trained civil servants especially the chp officer.

  • its so sad..

  • Comment removed

  • Couldn't he put the car in neutral? This sucks... :(

  • @perchedeagle2 natural selection

  • @justin76bmw stfu

  • @perchedeagle2 stfu? wtf? id don't understand stfu.

  • STFU. You know "WTF" but dont know "STFU" ?? I'm sure.

SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP. You heartless little fucktard. A family dying is horrible accident in a faulty vehicle is not natural selection and for you to make light of it is absolutely disgusting and how dare you mock the tragic death of this family. You don't even seem to know what natural selection means. STFU!!!!!!!!

  • I agree with justin76bmw here...

Natural selection is the process by which those that are unfit in the face of adversity are removed from the ecosystem.

In this case, the adversity was a stuck accelerator. The officer could have either put the vehicle in neutral or even removed the keys, but he didn't, hence failing in the face of adversity.

He's not mocking the death of the family, merely pointing the finger in this scenario.

  • fuck yeah!

  • Yes, it is unfortunate that the wrong floormat was installed in the vehicle, HOWEVER, the safe operation of any motorized vehicle is the sole and primary responsibility of the driver.

  • @gregdwulet I vehemently disagree with you and it is an improper comment to leave on such a tragic video. the end.

  • little? hertless, maby, but not little. where do you get the idea i was making lite of the situation? i was making a logical point. i found my self in the same situation(floor mat+gas pedal) after about 0.5 seconds i threw my car in neutral, pulled over, and shut it off. not hard to figure out! as for natural selection, it was first figured out by some guy called chuck darwin, you won't find it in your'e bible though.. ,,!,,

  • worse than any horror film i've ever seen...

    my stomach just dropped...

    RIP to this family...

  • "Funny" how this is intelligent anti-Japan-car-marketing. Why do you think this kind of call leaks? Do the americans have a car-market to save? ;-) It's a shame for the family though, my heart goes out to them. This should never have happened, but the motives behind releasing this kind of calls is scaring the public into buying Japanese cars which are usually the most reliable ones around...

  • Glad to see Im not the only one who has had those thoughts....just a seems like a huge coincidence that GM owes our govt a lot of money and ALLL OF THE SUDDEN Toyota starts having all these problems...personally I'll never buy another GM...I already gave em my tax dollars now they want me to buy a vehicle from them? Why? So their lazy union workers can keep their inflated salaries..no thanks I'll take my chances with sticky gas pedals..BTW what the hell did this guy think 911 was gonna do???

  • How dare you use a video with lives taken in it to prove some point about how your racist! I can't believe the mouths on some people! People who will take any chance they get to bash something, it's really sad, it really is.

  • R.I.P.

    Heart goes out to family.

  • Your an idiot i hope you were in that crash you fucking fag

  • I'm sorry but I have to agree with 3cressidas to a certain point. The guy calling in was a COP!! for the CHP no less! If anyone should know the procedure for shutting down a car in motion, it should have been him! You only need shift to Neutral, Turn off the ignition, and apply the brakes, and if necessary apply the safety brakes, and slam the transmission in park once the engine is off. You'll tear the car up, but it beats the alternative.

  • 3cressidas..... you wrote that pile of sh*te because you lack attention. You are a wart on the face of humanity and its people like you who make this world a sad place. You Fkin d*ckwipe. Crawl back to the pond where you came from.

    R.I.P

  • R.I.P.

  • And if he wasn't on a suicide mission, then he was a 100% pure dumb-ass.

Probably only survived childhood because of the implimentation of child-safe toys 40 years ago.

Making toys safe for dumb-ass kids interupted the process of natural sellection.

There are way too many people alive today that should have died off at a young age.

And now they are out there reproducing........

  • Hit brakes (without pumping them), shift to neutral, come to stop, turn off car.

  • Neutral.

  • I feel so sorry fo rth e ones who were lost but in order to prvent from thsese things to happen, the government should investigate all the car companies minutely.

  • Horrible to imagine....

  • could they drive off the road and scrape the barrier to slow down ?

  • we also need to realize that we've all had time to stop and think what would we do. this family didnt kno about toyota and lexus's accel. problems. some ppl might think hes an idiot but a lot of ppl dont kno about cars. the makers of this car should have to pay over a 100 million to the family and fix every car out there with this defect. if it was bad meat they would recall of it and toss it.. so why with a dangerous 2-3thousand pound car do we let ppl still drive these around?

  • PEOPLE STOP DRIVING YOUR TOYOTA'S

  • destiny called...this is terrifying, when I die, please...no agonizing bed ridden cancer death that takes a year and a half, this would be a great alternative...help, o God!....(crash) ahhh peace at last....what's that bight light??

  • i have no comment this is just terrifying i have nothing to say

  • What is wrong with you all?? These ppl Died...you know - never coming back. You will never know what you would do in this situation until you're in it - trained or not! Come on....what a sad and pathetic world we live in where there are no tears for our fellow mankind!!!

  • I have had the floor mat get hung up on a few different vehicles. Kick the damn floormat off the peadle with the heel of your shoe! Or shift the car ibto nutral! Whats sad is this was a CHP! They should know waht to do in these situations! Toyota is at no fault

  • Shifting to neutral and using the brakes would have saved him.

    He decided to pray instead.

Oh well. The gene pool needed a little chlorination.

  • I've had my pedal get stuck, I just poped it into neutral. It's scarey to think of how people driving know nothing about cars, enough to get them an thier whole family killed. It's sad they died from something that could have been solved very easily. Car should have been in neutral or turned off long before they reached a dangerous speed. Just make sure if you turn off the car its not to the lock position. Loosing power brakes and steering isn't much fun, but it's better than dying.

  • Wow! people are so mean. Non of us have been in a car accelerating 120 mph with the lives of our family at stake with 1/2 mile of highway left to make a decision. mostly likely he burnt out the brake by the time the call was made so even if he shifted into neutral the car wouldn't stop for a while. Others who call them dumbass suggested turning off the ignition which would have locked the steering, or driving into a ditch( are you crazy! at 120 mph you would be dead in a sec).

  • no, you turn the car off and open the switch so the steering wheel doesnt lock, easy

  • Yeah but what kind of idiot burns out the brake first?

This guy was a fucknuts. I mean seriously, PRAY? Wow.

  • sucks to hear they passed away, but isn't it common sense to put the gear in neutral? I had the same problem with one of my old cars and it didn't take long for me to put my gearbox in neutral and shut off my car.

  • Ps Why did he not just drive into the ditch? Almost all ditches along roads in north america are designed at angles to be driven into safely in the event of an emergency (much safer than trying to trying to blow through intersections or crash into other cars.

  • Also he made a stupid decision by taking attention away from driving and solving the problem by choosing to make a useless call to 911, which could just have easily been done by a passenger

  • It was the driver's brother in law in the back seat who was making the 911 call. It's a loaner car from the dealer and he didn't know how to turn off the engine because the ignition was a keyless type. The front passenger should have unbuckled and tried to reach over to the accelerator pedal to pull it up by hand. But it's easy to play armchair quarterback. It's not fair, with the benefit of hindsight, to lay the blame on the driver who was in a panic situation.

  • It's a lot simpler than that, really: Shift to neutral.

A lot of driving schools will tell you that in the first class when they're teaching you basic vehicle operation and what to do in emergencies.

I think it's perfectly fair to blame the guy. He didn't do anything right. He didn't shift to neutral, and when he was approaching the intersection, he gave up and prayed rather than using the horn to warn other drivers.

  • Hello mr ass hat

    1) the man on the cell phone was a passenger

    2) the driver was a trained CHP chase car driver who knew more about what to do than you ever will

    3) those cars have rev lock outs where by you cant shift to neutral at speed

    4) you would be too busy wetting your self to even drive long enough to burn off the brake pads and set the tires on fire let alone attempt a controled crash like this man did *sadly he got hit by a car at the intersection

  • Okay, prove what you're saying and I'll delete my comment and apologize.

  • Horn, Ha Ha at 120 mph you would have had time to just look and see what the noise was as the car was plowing through your vehicle

  • Finding out the details makes this much scarier. It was an unfamiliar rental car, had a strange shifter where neutral wasn't easy to find (and might have been locked out), had NO KEY to turn and nothing indicating how to turn the engine off. There's no way the brakes alone would stop that car at WOT (obviously), they lose vacuum power and would melt anyway. That's why some cars have brakes that override accelerator. This is straight out of Final Destination or something. So sad! RIP

  • cars are 3000lb pieces of metal with ability to go 200km/h+. At any job, no one is allowed to operate heavy machinery unless they know exactly how to use it safely. If you don't know how to use a car safely, do not drive it - you are putting your own and others lives at risk

  • wow this driver was very stupid even that he was an officer, cant believe it for a stuck pedal? as other said just turn off the car or put it on neutral so it was not the car fault but the dumb driver, and is the only accident like this and the stupid americans are all scared, chickens.

  • This car is KEYLESS ignition. Plus all that hi tech electronically controlled throttle, transmission etc etc. NO way of knowing how to work with those hi tech cars if everybody is all used to those traditional keyed ignitions etc

  • Why couldn't he shift to neutral and pull the e-brake?

  • @Leadwerks

    I know right!

this is all a set up of gm and ford cuz there is no real prood

  • Umm.... Turn the vehicle off ? ? Put the vehicle in neutral ? ? Or were they driving Christine and it had a mind of its own? ? No sympathy for stupidity. . .

  • Hey idiot, these people all died. How about some damn compassion. I'd like you today as a scientific experiment, go out to a busy road, start driving and go all the way up to 120 mph, put it in crusie control and then suddenly drop into neutral or try turning the car off. See what happens. Jerk.

  • I do this from time to time just for fun.... shift --> neutral ---> turn ignition key ---> bam car is off and cruising on its own momentum and you still have plenty of juice left in the brakes.

  • Why cant you brainwashed toyotaphiles admit that the damn cars are faulty and they need to come off the road? i mean really floor mats? you must really have some dead brain cells to buy into that bs

  • @pinkosquare

you are a first class ass...

  • Let's keep them and their family in our thoughts this Christmas.
