  • u should put olive oil on your length to prevent over processing

  • @Sexyhersheyzchocolat thanks for the tip

  • i love ur accent. where r u from?

  • @tsvarakadenga22 thank you, i am from Africa :-)

  • Hi, i love your videos, what´s the song name?

  • @yasnyne thanks a lot, pls check the info box

  • My mistake, I saw where you said that you wanted to get rid the texlaxed hair, sorry nunaa!

  • @KiKiForeverBBZ no worries

  • I noticed she applied the relaxer to your nape first. This should NEVER be done because your edges and nape are the susceptible place of your entire head of burning. Please try self relaxing, She is overprocessing your hair, and your hair is so beautiful!!

  • @KiKiForeverBBZ dont worry hun she won't ever touch my hair again, lol, i have been self relaxing for over the past 2years & yes i love to do things myself actually i feel i have more control, thanks so so much for caring

  • @nunaavane No problem!! :D Your hair is so beautiful and I found castor oil in my medicine cabinet!! U had no idea it was there!! It was supposed to be a laxative...is it safe to use this on my hair?

  • @KiKiForeverBBZ yes that's why i love this oil, multiple uses, u can use it on ur hair no pb, don't over do it though

  • @nunaavane i know right!! I oiled my scalp with it and it weighed my hair down... but the next day it was fine. I also noticed thickness in my ponytails after just three days of use!!

  • @KiKiForeverBBZ yes it really is a good one

  • I hope men see what all women have to go through to make their hair look that pretty................

  • @KiaraRoxATT246 yesssss ! ! ! lool

  • is simsims's kids mixed too ?

  • @wwhitney30 yes

  • are you still letting her do your hair

  • whats the name of your blowdryer??

  • @HairCare929 i don't know it's not mine i am at my bestie's house in this video

  • how long were u due before u relaxed?

  • @0nicolle66 3 months

  • overlapping relaxers is even more damaging to your hair than one relaxer or perm. your going to have to take care of your hair double time or u going to be going natural soon, which would b a good thing. good luck

  • @ShawnaANDElroy hi, video recorded in feb 2010 ! i had severe breakage after this relaxer, so i did a breakage challenge for 2 months ! my hair is now healthier, please check out my latest vid update ! thanksfor caring, i think we all learn from our mistakes !

  • What is telaxed ?

  • @hizzgurrl It's when your hair is texurized/relaxed

  • Nunaa...she is putting realxer on your already relaxed hair! I know its hard to relax your own hair, but it is better, because you will be careful with your own hair. Your hair looks GREAT though!

  • @candikking yeah i know, we are not doing it that way anymore, tks so much for caring :-) i went to the salon that time around, lol

  • @nunaavane texture-relaxed when you don't relax bone straight !

  • It better to use gloves to smooth the relaxer!!!!!

  • @MsEthnicBeauty thanks

  • your hair looks pretty. i dont relax or put any kind of chemicals what so ever on my hair anymore, 2 and a half months natural and forever lol, but to each thier own. you are pretty and your hair is pretty :-)

    keep it up

  • @mimi42428 wow ! ! thanks a loooot for this comment, i really appreciate it :-)

  • pls 4 da luv of god dont make dat girl perm ur hair again. she is overprocessing ur hair. there r areas she is going over where ur ng is no where to be found. n it shud not b plastered to ur scalp. ur hair is doing so well dont make sum oone ruin it. i kno she is ur friend but she aint a pro

  • @misstiffy25 thanks a whole lot for this very very constructive comment, i realized that & she also did ! so next time i think i will relax by myself, bcz i get it better, my only issue is i want to get my hair straight & i can't get it straight by myself, so i think i will part the hair in 2 & take my time to do it fully :-)

    thanks again

  • how long did u grew your hair before u relaxed

  • @jambrawla07 i usually grow my hair for 3 months before i relax

  • Tu pars couramment Anglais :)?

  • @joyfulkimi oui, lol :-)

    congrats!

  • You look beautiful! x

  • @bwnsugashay thank you :-)

  • you almost look like iman ...i think thats spelled rite lol well the model or use to be model either one lol

  • @Puppyluv4ya i see who u talk about ! lol, thanks a whole lot!

  • try main and tail detangler it works really well

  • @finegirl1993 i have a complete video review on that :-)

but the day of this relaxer i was not at my house with my products :-)

  • that looks like a messy perm you like put it ALL over your hair. only apply to NG but your hair is veryyyyyyy pretty so i cant talk loll

  • @Wtfraven13 yeah, as you can see, it is not the same person that is doing things : on the other video you commented, I was applying the relaxer, here my friend does it, so we don't have the same application, but thanks tho

  • use lusters no drip scurl spray-in the blue and white bottle- it helps the stretching process and keeps your hair moisturized very well.... i said it before in a previous video of yours, but u really need to come and get your hair done by me if u ever come out to the huntingdon area! love the music again

  • @ExotiqBeautii thanks for the nice comment & tips :-)

  • we love you too!:)

  • @calledforhiswill awww tks a lot honey :-)

  • Hi! Nice video. One little hint though: maybe you should try applying it to the nape and edges as last since that is the most fragile part of the hair. Also, because your hair is thin maybe it would be better not to overlap so much and apply it only t the NG. Sorry I dont want to interfere but my hair is a bit like yours and these things have helped thicken it so much that I thought I should share them with you. Have a blessed HHJ

  • @healthtycrownofglory thanks so so much, yes you are a 100% right ! that's why we say "learn from your mistakes"

after this video in February, i did my last relaxer exactly the way i was doing it in the past, only the new growth !

tks a lot for being so kind, be blessed in return :-)

  • @nunaavane ;-)

  • Wow i'm really proud of you and your hair look absolutely amazing!!!

  • @luciousndivine1 awww tks a lot :-)

  • im happy for you great

  • @1emerysophia thank you :-)

  • J'adore!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @NUBIANLICIOUS merci :-)

  • what are some good products to oil the scalp with? without that greasy feel and look.

  • @ladiig0tswaqq hi there, please watch my video 'oiling scalp & scalp massage'

the problem is that all the oils i use are oily...so i don't know of any product that will not leave that feeling, sorry

  • Nunaavane, you are inspirational dear. Am in Germany and having such difficulty finding products e.g. aphogee. Where in France are you getting your products_ I am subscribing as we speak.

Thanks for all the information. Congratulations on the length, amazing stuff!

  • Nice growth NUNAAVANE....I love your personality.

  • @TheMichelle78 thank you sweet :-)

  • Your hair is growing very nicely, but when you overlap the previously relaxed hair like that, doesn't that cause breakage?

  • @get2joy exactly ! that is why i am currently doing a breakage challenge, i had a lot of breakage after this last relaxer :-(

  • @nunaavane What you need to do next time nuna is coat you previous relaxed hair with coconut oil to prevent overlapping. About the whole trim thing i don't think it is necessary to get a trim each relaxer as i have been on my journey since June 2009 and i haven't trim once since and my ends are perfectly straight. I think you should have gotten a good trim at the beginning of you journey, that what i did and my hair continued to grow in the shape, check out my vids if u ever get the chance.

  • @JamaicanAngelz1 you're right becz this time i forgot to protect my previous relaxed ends :-)

And i started my Hj since 2008 & i only got 1 major trim to start fresh, so i am good now, 2 trims in 2 years is enough i think, lol

so i trimmed that time around, next relaxer i might only dust the extra ends (IF NEEDED, loool)

tks a lot for the support :-)

  • @nunaavane Your welcome hun, i love your videos :)

  • Your hair is growing beautifully!

  • @MsChanteJ72 thank you :-)

  • tks a lot vanessa, be safe :-)

  • Ooooooohhh my goodness! I seen a girl in the store in CVS today buying two bars of the Medimick soap. I'm gonna try tht out! Does it work well? & your hair has grown so much! I remember how your hair looked when u did your 1st relaxer by yourself. It looks so healthy! But make sure not to waist anytime on trimming them ends bcuz u dn't want your hair to start breaking.

  • I love the results. I am almost BSL and I just began my journey in Dec. But the reason for my journey is I want thiickness and health. Those are my first goals and then I am pushing for more lenghth. I am so proud of you and your results. Well done! I am 14 weeks post now and my relaxer day is tomorrow. This will be my first self relax. Pray for me!

  • i pray the Lord above He takes control on everything you do to your body, hair and soul ! i pray He guides you to this new experience ! i pray Jesus to be the Alpha & Omega for your whole life and hair journey ! Remain blessed girl, and i don't say "good luck" as long as i placed you in His hands, lol, luck is far away :-)

You are going to be fine :-)

Thickness is coming before length to my opinion, so as you already have the length, it will be a game for you :-)

    love

    Nunaa

  • Nunaa Nunaa, I am so proud of you! You're hair looks amazing! I was on the edge of my seat watching this video. I was so excited and happy for you! This is great inspiration! Keep up the good work, keep the videos coming and I just love your personality! Continued Success and Blessings My Friend!

  • Hey Nunaa! Great results! It's true your hair looks so thick and importantly healthy. Keep on keeping on girl. Mwah!

  • missniti ! how are you doing girl? i want to have more news of you ! lol

    tks so so much :-)

  • Nunaa, great job improving the length and thickness of your hair. You're doing a great job! One suggestion, please consider BUMPING the ends of your hair when flat ironing & then do a dry wrap afterward. This will greatly improve the volume & movement of hair so it doesn't just sit there. Also, do you have Dominican salons where you live? They are talented at styling while also improving the health of your hair. They set the wet hair on large rollers b4 blow drying. Makes a huge difference!!

  • My mouth literally dropped to the floor!!! Your hair grew longer!!!! Congratulations!!! Your hair and makeup looks beautiful!!!

  • Nunaa, will you do a tutorial video on how to trim your hair? Thanks.

  • Hi Nunaa, Your hair has grown so much. You and your friend did a great job relaxing.

  • Great progress, your hair is really growing. You will reach BSL this year.

  • Hi Nuuna! You did a great job stretching your relaxer. Your growth in my opinion is great and I definately see what you are talking about with the thickness. Wish you and Simsim were here to help me with my relaxer in 2 weeks. I will be 6 mos. post. Iuse ORS relaxer too, but I use the kind already mixed in the jar. Didn't know that the ORS shampoo was that kind of a neutralizer. You just taught me something. Well, great progress for you, so happy for you! Thanks for posting.

  • you're more than welcome :-)

Well yes the ORSalon formula is a neutralizer, & it is also clarifying

i wish i was there too, lol, how was the 6 mos stretch?

  • your hair is long it would be 10times longer if didnt have a harsh chemical in it... trust me i know i used to perm my own hair

  • i appreciate you sharing with me :-)

  • forget perms go natural that's why it's so hard to blow dry it's messing up you curly thick texture!

  • tks for your advice :-)

  • I love watching your videos! You are doing a great job on your journey. Keep up the great work, your hair looks wonderful. :)

  • tks so much micarae :-)

  • You have come a long way! Your hair looks great!!!

  • tks a lot, i still have got a looong way to catch up with your thickness :-)

but i'm working on it, lol

  • Great progress lady!

  • thank you :-)

  • Nuna!!! No Dont cut it!!!! there is this machine that i use on my hair that trims 1/8th of an inch and it helps to preserve the lenght please try it b4 u cut a whole inch off its called the splitender. please research it b4 u cut!!!! you will thank me later I promise

  • really??? thank you so much, i am off to look it up ! tks again

  • you are so nice to give to others,,,

     god bless you...

  • amen ! tks a lot for the blessings :-)

  • Hey Nunaa, your hair is looking fabulous!

    Do you live in Paris?

  • lol, tks a lot

i no longer lived in Paris after 8 years of a loving affair with Paris ! lol, i love this city but i found one more peaceful 4 my daughter :-)

  • I thank you for clearing that up for me..I have songs by both artists and thought it was Nneka but my son told me different so I wrote AYO .Yeah he even likes the song..Lol.

  • hahahaha, let him come visit me, we'll have fun dancing on both artists :-)

  • lol, tks so much ! i will do it in Jesus name ! He gives me the strength with you all to keep on keeping on :-)

  • Your hear has really grown!! it looks great

  • thank you :-)

  • I used to use that relaxer! Love the conditioner it comes with

  • me too :-)

  • Wow Nunaa! a LOT of growth no? wld've been gd if you posted your b4 and after pics at the end of video to compare but whatever.. So much thickness I can tell your happy : )

I noticed she didn't wear gloves to apply the relaxer? er.. This is a very toxic chemical! It's not a creme but a chemical please don't forget that next time for safety.. beauty is one thing but when you go to such extremes to achieve it please take the precaution! Just some sisterly advise ; )

Oh, did it itch..? lol!!!! xx

  • i know ! i told her but she never wear gloves when doing relaxers to ppl !

i will do this picture shot at my 2 years comparison, lol, so you have time :-)

Oh well it only itched but only on the very end, just on the nape where she started :-)

  • Congratulations Nunaa!!! You are my inspiration, your hair looks lovely. Thanks for sharing.

  • you are very welcome girl :-)

  • It has gotten thicker and longer..I am glad that you decided to self relax.I relaxed also and had some tangles. You and I both have the same type of hair its fine.I think for me its because I always have my hair in braids under a wig and I didn't comb my hair out first and started relaxing on a braid out.Look forward to your upcoming videos.

  • great info ! i will def detangle my hair prior to the relaxer next time, bcz that day, i had detangles few days before only :-(

    tks a lot
