I must admit! u have a great song! i will not say ur singing right or wrong because I don't understand a lot of singing! i just know that i appreciate to hear your songs while i'm studying! It helps me to stay focused and concentrated! Hope ur even better than before and the Best of Lucks for you!
my suggestions are dont tilt your head back and learn to connect your phrases. and keep your sound foward! dont let it get stuck in your throat. your young! its okay to sound your age :) we're the same age and i go to the fine arts center school for voice. you have a good voice. and i like your shirt! also, a jaw and neck massage will help release tension so you dont lift your head and your high notes will come out better
i think you got something but the big problem is that you still have some pop singing features. you have to develop your legato as you sing note after note and note a whole phrase. otherwise, it s quite good for your age, the vibrato appears which is a good sign of healthy singing. keep it up. one last thing, do not cut breath right in the middle of a word, never ever.
It's a process to learn to sing well - obviously a young student can't learn it all at once! I hope this "dbrel" doesn't judge Solo and Ensemble or NATS competitions!
You are a very talented singer, and should continue to work at finding more freedom in the mechanism. I see young singers all the time, and you are ahead of the game! Keep up the good work, and remember to stay humble and emotionally secure.
I would seriously consider a new voice teacher. The fact that she is still singing basically straight tone much of the time in fhs upper register and not on the breath is a little frightening. The upper register sounds too forced . There is a voice in there, but whoever she is working with is not bringing it out correctly - please get some other opinions. I don't know what city or state you are in, but there are good teachers around. Sorry , but I can't stand seeing poor quality teaching.
@dbrel she is 14.. she is great and she has a lot of time to sing good. I hear that she tries to use the breath good and she works hard. I am a singer too and I know it is so hard. give her time. don't make her an opera singer. she is 14 and she is really great!!
@dbrel// I Disagree Completely, It Is Hard To Sing As She Does And She Does A Fantastic Job. You Must Also Keep In Mind That The Videos Audio Is Not Of The Best Quality. If It Was She Would Sound Millions Of Times Better Than She Does. Her Vocal Coach Is Probably Amazing
The promise showed in the earlier videos continues to bloom! Lovely! I would suggest one thing (which my teacher is always telling me not to do): don't tilt your head up when you sing, because it puts more strain on your vocal cords.
But... wow. Dang. I wish I could have sung like that at 14... I can't sing like that now and I'm 20, and when you're 20 and I'm close to 30 I doubt I'll be anywhere close... keep up the good work!
I loved this on the first note. You have the voice of an angel and one of the most beautiful voices I've heard in my life. I'm a baritone if you want to know and my dream is to be a public address announcer for an NBA team. I would love it if I got to meet you. The only problem is that I live in Johnson City, Tennessee. I believe you'll become one of the greatest sopranos who ever lived.

@divaphoenix This video is 3 years old. You have NO idea WHAT Aria's typical repertoire and coaching has been and is currently. Same about vocals.

@divaphoenix I have responded to you privately.
1.) These videos were not posted to solicit advice. With 5 million+ views, we get a lot of feedback.
2.) Most viewers are not classical music fans or trained professionals.
3.) Aria is 17 and has a highly regarded professional opera trainer.
4.) Our video footage is very limited and represent only a small fraction of her performances.
5.) dbrel is right. Most of the video quality is crappy.
6.) Aria has become a singer/songwriter too.
