  • An explod amp..in a exploder...lmfao lol haha

  • I like using a seat velt floor mount for the ground

  • next time get an assistant/cameraman. well thanks for the vid man!!

  • Wasch and vacuum the car :)

  • auto mal staubsaugen und waschen :)

  • I swear i was the only one with a wooden screwdriver

  • I have a Kenwood mono amp with the sigma Servo on it whats the best way to wire this to a Jl 10W3? thank you

  • Im also grounding a capacitor, and my question is does the ground bolts have to be really tight? because i drilled a whole for a screw and it screws down tight but it can move side to side? help

  • @DMANDusty yes, they do need to be tight, otherwise youre going to have a poor connection

  • @Redneck92890 thank you! i arlready moved the ground wire and it is tight! thanks

  • @DMANDusty not a problem bud. glad i could help.

  • your not underpowering the sub??? it RMS at 600 i love alpine and it will take the full 1800 and more but its about clearity not power i would run a re xtx 3000.1 you said you was running it at 4 ohms that sony amp at 4 ohms is pushing anywere from 170 to 240 watts that re runs the full 600 RMS so it will gladly do more

  • I have a "how-to" on speaker boxs and other sick vids on my channel if anyone is interested

  • GooD VIDEOS lots of help

  • These vids are dope. Shit load of help.. Thanks

  • thanq for this video friend...

  • Man...I hate to say it but a lot of what you saying about the electrical signals makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. 0:28 ground out static? Bro, you have to have a RETURN for DC current flow to work. ANY poorly grounded component may cause "clicking" while driving. The +12 VDC coming from the BATTERY (not the engine) won't interfere with the REMOTE wire or the low level audio signal wires. 5:25 IF you 'ground the positive' something is going to blow (at least a fuse or two). Pliers man C'mon

  • Great video! Thanks for taking the time to film this. Cheers!

  • Kenwood suck there sub are good but amps no

  • This is how it is done in the ghetto. a professional would never hook it up like this. Your ground is your seat bolt????? seriously??? also the power wire is going across the engine.... thats insane!

  • @freeballingya The power wire is going across the intake, its not going to melt and it's not insane...its just how people in the ghetto get it done and working with out hiring a "professional".

  • best buy has a kenwood 1000watt/ 300rms @4ohm for like 170, its a really good amp

  • hey i had a quick question.. so if i buy a nice sub, but cant afford a nice amp rite now.. wud it work fine with a really shitty amp until i can afford one that'll work the sub to its fullest?

  • @Ishan555 yes, just try and make the amp to your right ohmage on the sub. for best performance

  • just a tip man, its better to find a ground that is already there (one that is used by another electrical equipment, that way you know its a good ground

  • Great vid man!

  • is that a 1 channel amp??

  • a lot of people do the ground like that.. just look on internet.. its all over.. i didnt.. but you can.

  • Do not install like this. A seat bolt for ground? Are you kidding me?

  • 06:49 Hey thats me

  • im impressed that you tightened all your bolts with either an adjustable wrench but by just pinchin them rather than using the leverage of the wrench, and also using pliers as well. I think you need a set of gear wrenches for christmas lol but mad props to you makin the video with one hand and workin on the install at the same time. I dont think i could do that with out a buddy to hold the camera for me. lol

  • can i hook my laptop instead of the car stereo?

  • @Miguelr2600 if you did, it wouldn't work...the plug is made for 120v (possible 240v or higher if its for another country besides the US). You can buy a power inverter, which resembles a small amp, and you will be able to plug anything 120v (within the wattage limits of the inverter).

  • Nice video man. Good way to explain things.

  • 9 people are in the KKK.

  • get some proper tools dude

  • @THERAMJOHNS honestly i think he's doing a good job with the tools he has. he's using pretty general tools that most people have. proper tools are just used to make the job easier, but getting more tools is pretty expensive...

  • thanks bro

  • yall haters

  • man i love the way you explain everything. Every other video just goes through it as if you we know everything, but then again we look up how to install everything on youtube. So seriously very good video. I'm liking and subscribing.

  • Comment removed

  • @dirtbikernick, because if u knew anything u would know his battery isn't hooked up

  • if that power wire is hooked up already, why are you tosing it around,,, its going to ground out and burn shit

  • @dirtbikernick it's fine... the battery isn't even hooked up anyways.

  • man you got to route the remote on the same side as the current otherwise the rca with get static

  • Thank you man! I may only be 14 but I already have a car lined up, and speaker set(2000w) But I was wondering if it is necessary to screw it to you back of your seat? Because I am getting my moms current car(2004 dodge durango) and I dont really want to put holes in it. So could I just set it in there? So what I am trying to get at is, Does screwing the amp in give any bonuses? Please reply back! And thank you for your time!

  • @emosk8er97

it makes you cooler if you screw it to the roof

  • @emosk8er97 It doesnt give it a bonus it just makes sure it secure so just make sure its in a secure non moving place and itll be fine! or just drill it to the back of your sub like mine! Easy shit need any help just ask me!

  • @Davidduds Ok, thank you!

  • man this was a grt demo ur a boss,u jus helped me cut installation cost. thanks bro

  • loooool @ 1:02 "..this green is actually, well ya know... but if you didn't know, you slow"

  • just got the same amp as you and wires. thanks bro for all your help, made the unclear things "clear"

  • very help full im a female so i was kinda confused but this gave me a step to step and i will install my 2 12 inch kickers with a 2000 watt amp in my galant i will keep you posted on how that goes :) thank you for this vid

  • love the wire nuts @ 8:16

  • nicE!!!!! very helpful!!!!!

  • wtf y does me not use a socket set? thats how u threat hte bolt by using pliers and shit what a knob... never the less good job on show to do it this

  • @ozzieruss01 true...but he's also using one hand for everything just so he can show us, pretty tight.

  • i got nitro amp 1200watts with 2 10in german audio 1200watts max EACH (600 rms) in a small pickup. it THUMPS.

  • i put all my wires on the same side, and no problems so far..

  • @281Lee it interfeirs with the signal... go ask a pro

  • thought id help you out on some of your questions man subscribe and ill sub back

  • and the second thing is, do I have to connect the wires from the front box to the back? because i already have stock subs (which suck) and cant i connect from them? that will save me money and mad time. If you can answer that please do. :D thanks bro, very good guide watched it all. you the best.

  • @umair2311 i dont understand what your talking about PM and ill try to help you out man

  • doesnt the ground normally have to be connected directly to the physical car metal?

  • @umair2311 no as long as you have direct contact with anything that is metal that leads to the chassis of the car you wont have any problems

  • .....static electricity??

  • Sony amp ?? I just killed a sony amp with my type R's !!

  • you do realise your ment to run the positive wire and rem wire together lol

  • @MilkyEdits you dont have too all the time i usually run the remote with my RCAs

  • Great video I like how you explain things like where to run power & ground and remote and aux wires that's a super BIG tip many don't know. Thanks! RJ

  • when i turn the volume up in my car the amp turns off. what do i do?! i miss miss my subs.

  • @50cent1362 PM me man ill see hwat i can do to help you out

  • the whole reason he knows how to set it up is because hes a pro at taking them out :)

  • all vids are good instructional vids... but you need real tools lol.. ratchet and sockets would've helped with every bolt from battery to ground

  • did the previous owner die in the car and that is why so many fresheners?

  • kicker L3 10" running on a hitron 800 watt 400 rms amp any good u think

  • He did everything with one left hand :D

    Like you tutorial :DD

  • theres a misconception out there that niggers are black people therer t

not niggers are peices of shit black people are the exact same as white people they breathe air and talk shit just as much as white people do this guy helped the fuck outta my sour cream ass with this video

  • ground actually goes back to the - battery terminal, just saying. thanks for the help on the wiring though, I couldn't think of where to run the wire

  • @nathan82206 nope false you dont always have to unless your running a HUGE system you can ground your amp where he is

  • Best video ever, funny and informative.

  • If you didn't know you just slow XD

  • @usmcgrunt2491 this green is just .....its just .aisjgasdjgoijasijgsjg????... your just slow

  • @usmcgrunt2491 lmaoo i laughed at that for so long

  • And by the way to anyone actually getting advice from this, you absolutely do not have to run the power on the opposite side. It doesn't effect the remote wire, and it can't affect the Rca's (which is what he was trying to warn you of) because they have a low pass filter in the head unit, meaning it only carries low frequencies (cause it's going to a sub, duh), and a surge will not effect them. Now, if it were to a door speaker amp then yes. Common misconception.

  • Grounds all the static electricity? ....Wow.

  • good tutorial video. keep it up.

  • just saying but im white and i thought your vids were great man. thanks they really helped!

  • F*** the people talking Sh*t bro, Great video... Def helpful. Thanks

  • "sanding in is important, you dont want, cuz... this green is acc...ah eh if you, well you do kno cuz if you din'int, than you sh.. than you just slow...." took me a while to try and figure out what u were gonna say

  • when i install my 200 watt system hooked up to 2 8" mtx terminators i'm gonna luagh at my bros 500 watt memphis system for one simple reason. i did mine myself and didnt take it to a shop to get it done. the pride of hard work is what i'll be happy about

  • anyone else fastforward through the part when he "screwed da hoes"?

  • donations for tools are now being accepted...

  • fordexplorer4real

  • my battery is located in the boot of my car, does this affect the way i wire positive and aux etc ?

  • @6uvn3r bmw eh? it shouldnt do if anything it should make it easier because you'll have less wire to run through the car

  • @dirtydonsunny not bmw its an mx5, thanks for the help.

  • weird, my names lambo too. Nice video man, thanks a lot.

  • this not a racist comment but this guy might be black but he knows wht hes doin... so i give props to you and thumbs up..!

  • damn nigga vacuum ur shit out, lmao

  • "this green is painted metal, if you didn't know your just slow"

    ahahahahaha

  • Lol i have hand sanitizer in my car too :P

  • very elaborate on what he's doing great job man..

  • 6:53 "hey thats me" haaaa!

  • if you didnt know your just slow XD

  • i hate wen ppl get on here n pass judgment.. and y does it matter tht he is black.. yall racist as fuck... grown up n stop hatin

  • i love it when he says put it through the hole

  • If you dont mind me asking but how much was the amp and sub??

  • why waste ur time watcht the video and make racist comments? pointless aint it...?

  • hey i a got a simular srewdriver.lol hey it got the job done RIGHT. nd dose any one kno wat an orange wire name iLLumination connects to?

  • @bud4941

It's if you have a dimmer wire, so that when you turn on your headlights(Night Time) it dims the light of the radio.

  • @bud4941 But its not needed.

  • Got to love his false definition of ground.

Ground is when you ground out static electricity.

Actually it's the last part in a complete circuit big man...

  • man thats one hell of a ghetto screwdriver, i bet it has killed more people than me.

  • hahah @1:00 ' cause if you didnt know then you just slow '

  • screwing the hoes needs to be a little bit tighter. Yeah, a little bit tighter

  • Wow dude who wired your deck they are stupid, using marettes. Why not use wire splices

  • youre the only other person besides me that ive seen that owns that brown screwdriver lol

  • tnx

  • The video should be called how to install an amp with one hand ;)

  • If you have the fuze installed into the power cable is it necessary to have the ground wire? Might be a dump question but isn't it the fuzes job to prevent the amp from blowing up by a surge? I don't know just a question because my kit didn't come with a ground wire

  • @Thecorylaubscher

Your kit should have come with a ground wire.

His explanation was wrong. Basically according to ohms law, you have to have a positive, and a negative for power to flow, the ground it just connected to the chassis, and the chassis is connected to the negative terminal. The fuse it so that if you get a surge, then it will blow the fuse opposed to blowing up the amp.

  • what if you just glued down your amp?

  • wow uses a wrench on a socket.... thats um whats the word.....

  • get a jl audio amp

  • did you screw that amp straight into the fabric of the seat?

  • lol whats wrong with the walmart brand?

  • @chigger7882

It's not AWG, American Wire Gauge, so the actual cable may be 8 gauge, but its more like a 10 AWG with extra coating to make it look bigger.

Less strands = Less power going to amp.

  • basically.... power cables on one side, and audio cables on the other??

  • how do you decide where the ground go?

  • @ggpucky21 anywhere that's bare metal i do believe. You know in most car boots theres a spare tyre? and around it is a lot of metal? just drill a hole there and place it there. As this guy says though ensure you remove any paintwork so it's bare :)

  • @93SceneKid

thank you so much ,im gonna be putting my 1st radio with amps that why i ask ^_^

  • @ggpucky21 just find somwhere in the back of your car with metal where you can sand it down to bare metal and put a screw through it.

  • This is amp is easy to install

    i have a Sub Pioneer TSW303R (1200watts max /250watts rms),

Amplificador Sony Explode XM-GTX 6040 (600watts max) and my radio is a Scoot DRX I900T and have 8 rca's cables....

show me how to instal that please

  • how do u change out your stock radio for a new one that has a security lock on it do u need a code or something idk plz message me back

  • @waack321 get rid of your old one first - you probably dont need it no more so forget about that.

If youre buying a brand new one, the code will be supplied in the box :) and you enter it using the stereo when its plugged in :)

If youre buying a second hand stereo, you will need a code...

  • @93SceneKid much thanks!!:)

  • why did u connect the black wire to the floor sorry but im new

  • @MrInerds to get continuous battery power when turned on like a complete circuit pretty much

  • hes so black, but white at the same time. i love it

  • Thax Homie I Got A Exploder Too lol

  • good job bro

  • what can i do if my car doesnt have a spot for a deck like urs?

    I have a 2002 infiniti i30

  • @Rjborgs yfvucv

  • great vid dude ! simple and well made i reckon it really did help heaps

  • U shouldve take n out the back seats

  • Nice vid man, it helped out a lot.

  • perfect video worked great for me in my new honda civic

  • Hey bro, thanks for the vid. This is really helpful. Sick ass sub by the way.

  • go to 20 seconds he says a ground grounds the satic electricity ? ... hey buddy you should try rubbing a ballon on the seats and see if it gets any louder

  • im still a little confused.im gabout to buy 2 W3 12" JL Audio subs. Do i need to buy 2 amplifiers? one for my speakers in the car and one for my subwoofers or can i just buy 1 subwoofer that can run both of them. Also is it absoultely necessary to upgrade your speakers in the car before you upgrade your subwoofers? BTW i have a sony explode deck.

  • Good vid

  • quit smokin so much weed bro...

  • Thanks for doing this man! It really helped me!!

  • how does the negative work though just connecting to the sanded thing?

  • @meloaleo Any part on the car that is metal, such as the chassis, is connected to the negative wire connecting to the battery, so basically when you put it to anything metal, it's connecting to the negative part of the battery.

  • hah you're screwing yourself with those cables, i have the same exact ones on my 760w pioneer amp, the cables only put out 680w so your amp can even peak, it's barely getting maintainable power

  • what can you hook up to an amp? any off road lights or anything like that? thanks

  • @bluedawg1190 No only speaker(s)

  • these videos help out a lot considering i have a 97 explorer

  • NEVER ground to the chassy; ground to the frame.

  • @puresofmeh You can ground to anything metal, it doesn't matter.

  • @TheFlawlessFilms If your ground it to the frame, you bypass a lot of resistance.

  • gotta screw dees hoes

  • Smartest black person i know

  • @jmadison378 I Agree !!

  • @jmadison378 you have a black president now dumbass :)

  • @jmadison378 have to bring in that he's black, do you?

  • @jmadison378 ...how'd you know he was black

    jk.

  • @jmadison378 fuckin retard
