Everyone can argue who's vocals were better in the competion. However, performance wise, there wasn't anyone in Marcus' circle that could compete. Dude put 110% showmanship everytime. Not saying none of the other artists didn't, just saying his was more evident with each performance. James and Bobby Brown didn't have the best vocals, but you enjoyed watching them move around stage. MJ had amazing vocals, but his presentation was the competition killer. See the trend? Marcus was a survivor. Definitely the most charasmatic singer there, but it was a tough competition. I'm glad the judges played a big deal in picking out the talent this season, they are all really good contestants! :)

How dare anyone diminish the talent that Marcus canty has. He is a wonderful performer and fought to stay. If you loved Rachel so much(I liked her too but not as much as Marcus), you should have voted more. I'm 28, an adult, love talent, and I voted we over 20 times. Why? Because every time Marcus performs, I get goose bumps. He is a gem on stage. Always fun, heartfelt, and talented. I'm not a teen voting on looks. That would be an insult to any of these singers. They all have great talent.
Rachel was holding it together until the announcer had that huge delay before announcing who would be sent home. It's all designed to increase the tension and get the audience both at home and in the studio emotionally wired. It's showbiz at its worst.

How dare anyone diminish the talent that Marcus canty has. He is a wonderful performer and fought to stay. If you loved Rachel so much(I liked her too but not as much as Marcus), you should have voted more. I'm 28, an adult, love talent, and I voted we over 20 times. Why? Because every time Marcus performs, I get goose bumps. He is a gem on stage. Always fun, heartfelt, and talented. I'm not a teen voting on looks. That would be an insult to any of these singers. See Nicole thought she was being fair by going to deadlock bc she was going to let America decide, but what she failed to realize was that she DID have to vote down Rachel to get there. And unless she actually felt that Rachel should go home, which she apparently didn't, she was just cheating herself by doing so. That's why she felt so terribly afterwords. XP

US voted on wednesday's performance a SAVE ME song was so they can redeem themselves and prove that they should be there and get SAVED America didn't have a chance to vote based off today's performance, if they did Rachel would still be there, Nicole coped out, even LA Reid basically said that he voted for Marcus out of principle because he's his mentor but he acknowledged the fact that Rachel did better, Nicole didn't want the guilt of sending home Marcus that's why she wanted to go to deadlock

god bless nicole i think she made the right decision.. Marcus and rachel did a good job, if i was a judge i would of did the same thing it was a hard decision they both brought it.I would of left it up to the fans,tbh nobody should be mad at nicole. If any blame should be giving to someone it should be giving to the fans. The fans sent home rachel not nicole!! all nicole did was give both a fighting chance by allowing the fans to chose who they wanted to see in the semi finals next week..

@blexicanchronicles that's not true, because of her talent. if Nicole would have judged by the save me song like Paula, she would have sent Marcus home, but she chickened out and just wanted someone else to do the judging. they should make a rule that you must judge on other mentors acts and you have the right not to vote on your own contestants. Rachel didn't deserve to go. i voted many times for her yesterday. i guess not enough. so sad.

Rachel has the lowest votes. What's the problem? If you have a problem, then why didn't vote for her endlessly? Don't blame Nicole. Marcus is very talented. Rachel is talented but you have to vote if you want a contestant to stay.

@wz12345678900 I agree with what you're saying but Marcus' song tonight wasn't as good as the first time he sang it and Rachel's was better than the first time she sang it and one of the best performances of the season. They always say they're basing it on these "survival songs" so based on that everyone except LA should have voted to send Marcus home.
