Tragically unappreciated and almost forgotten, like the film's lead character and anti-hero, this 'Generation X' film was way ahead of its time. Had it been released in the 1990's it would have been cherished like 'Reality Bites' has been.

If this was "the movie of 1971," how come I never heard of this movie in 2008, much less 1971?

The music, BTW, does sound like the background music for "The Price is Right," but darker and more menacing...maybe a hint of "Danger Price?" (LOL)
