Rottweiler's were actually originally used as war dogs in the roman army. and then then the Romans CRUSHED the Germans they came to Germany! get your facts right!!
i love Rottweilers, as i'm planing to adopt one, i now have a 5 months old golden retriever, he's sweet and adorable, anyways my question is if i adopt a Rott for guarding will he turn out to be welcoming the intruders instead of guarding them since he grows with a elder golden? bcos my friend have a labrador and a great dane, his just do the same, wagging his tail to the intruders
I hate how she did not do her research properly. If she knew that when they first said rott"veiller" it was the person who just had a thick accent, she'd have known that was a mistake. The town of Rottweil is where they originated from and anyone who knows an actual German person knows 'w' is not pronounced as a 'v' ... get the facts right before making videos stupid.
@SexyBabeKaegami No your wrong. My father and mother speaks German; if you go to Germany and say Rottweiler they will laugh at you. The real way your suppose to say it is Rottveiler. The W is overemphasized in German. If you knew German you would understand.
@SexyBabeKaegami That is completely incorrect! I am German by descent, it, like Dutch and Afrikaans, have the 'v' sound. It's not down to a thick accent, it's correct pronunciation. It seems the only here not doing their research is you!
At the animal center where I work, there is a blue/cinnamon pitbull in need of immediate adoption. He is housebroken, and a big sweetheart. He has a little bit of an anxiety issue, but that is easily fixable. If you adopt, I will personally buy you a thundershirt for him, which will surely help. You can message me on youtube, or send me an email at stallingssjacob@gmail.com for any additional questions. You get his neuter,a bag of food,a free first vet visit, and hes had all his shots.
@abbydiaz83 She is saying the way you suppose to say it. Rott weiller is a German dog and they do not say weiler they say Veiler. YES IT DOES SOUND IGNORING. TRUST ME. I FEEL YOUR PAIN.
rottweillers are the oldest known dog breed existing today so that means alot of dogs would have rottweiller blood. I often observe dogs and i see features of rottweiller in them, mutt or pure breed. Rottweillers so i have heard were also used by the romans in battle. This reporter showed more of the pitt bull than the rottie....
Doesn't make sense to show Julia Szabo's dogs while she's describing what Rottweilers are like. I'd prefer to see some actual footage or more pictures of Rotties. Stop reusing those shots for the other Understanding Dog Breed videos.
@VegetarianDelight90 Rottweilers are not aggressive if properly trained and socialized. Rotties and German Shepherds are both powerful breeds, so what you said about the former can be said for the latter, but again it all comes down to how responsible the owner is.
THEY ARE MEAN!!! THEY KILL PEOPLE AND CHILDREN!! HOW DARE YOU SAY THERE NICE DO NOT MAKE VIDEOS IF YOU LIE YOU STUPID PERSON WHO IS HARMFUL AND DUMB!!
@marshmello1430 no it has nothing to do with the breed its the owner ive seen quite a few rottweilers in my years on being on earth and i have yet to see a mean one
@marshmello1430 Rottweilers provide humans with invaluable services such as taking on the roles of police dogs and guide dogs. All breeds of dogs are special, even the mixed breeds, and they need to be appreciated.
@smilingpets im sorry..... my dad said they are mean and i wannted to see what people would say....... about the breed so im sorry and i want one and my dad says they are mean and kill people
@marshmello1430 I'm happy to hear you've changed your mind about Rottweilers. You're still young, so I would advise you on not getting one until you've had more experience with dogs. And since your dad hates Rotties I don't think it would be beneficial for the dog's spirit. Perhaps a Golden Retriever or beagle would be suitable?
@smilingpets well, can you sugest a dog that defends itself?? because my family need DOG that can scare away a fox, or coyote becuse they eat our chickens and roosters. On that can take care of family if something threats them.
like a big stong dog that is lovable and takes care of their owners.

like a big stong dog that is lovable and takes care of their owners. like a dachshund perhaps, they can hunt down a badger!! or, maybe we don't need a strong bold dog
my mom wants a show dog like a yorkie.... we have a poodle so please suggest a show dog and a bold dog.
@marshmello1430 I should tell you I'm not an expert on dog breeds, but I did do some quick research on some breeds that would be suitable for guarding chickens. The 2 breeds I would suggest are herding dogs. They are the German Shepherd & the Bouvier des Flandres. These 2 breeds are very protective of their family, and when they've been trained AS PUPPIES that chickens are also family and NOT FOOD, they will do whatever it takes to protect them.
@smilingpets All dogs can be show dogs, from the Yorkie to the Mastiff. Your mom should consider which breed best fits her personality and lifestyle. Going back to the guard dog issue, you can go to pet - adoption - guide . com to research many dog breeds and suggest them to your parents. Bringing a new pet into the family is a big decision that needs to be discussed with everyone in the family.
@marshmello1430 Congratulations! You win the prize for "Most retarded YouTube comment I've read today." You should feel proud as it's not an easy award to win, but of all the fuckwits out there, you rank as today's dumbest and most ignorant. Please accept this bib and a complimentary box of tissues to wipe the shit from your chin. Have a nice day.
@marshmello1430 perhaps there is hope for you yet, then. I can only hope an experience like this teaches you to do your research before shooting your mouth off. Might not mean much to you but these dogs are being banned all over the place and responsible, loving pet owners are having their faithful companions taken away and/or killed because people believe the kind of crap you posted here. Not cool man, not cool.
