  • Wahoooww la péche qui met dans ses mouvement, géniiiial !!!!!

  • what is manpower gap

  • @DawgFL It's the name of the big gap David Belle jumped.........

  • I like the DOING~ feeling his landing gives..

  • ninja at 00:17

  • 0:17 just like a cat , so pro

  • His landing at 0:17 is beast! so springy

  • Sure man, find the video

"le parkour - david belle #2",

and check out the landings at 0:08, 0:31, and 0:36.

Also in SpeedAirMan, the landings at 1:51 and 2:03 are good examples.

In the video "Learn Freerunning and Parkour - Landing From A Drop"

by urbanfreelow, Asid shows good landing form.

  • Full flexion into the squat is healthier and more natural.

When you go all the way down into a squat, you're recruiting an entire muscular chain that works to absorb and distribute impact evenly along the entire range of motion. When you stop partway, you cut off part of that chain, and all the impact is transferred to the first part, so you end up with the force confined to a smaller ROM, and so greater pressure.

Show me an elite traceur who doesn't land that way from drops.

  • have u realised that after the last drop he srings up frm the floor :L

  • Dude, it's fine.

He's got great strength through the full range of motion. Whne you see most beginners and non-athletic people do a drop, they don't bend their knees much because they haven't developed that ROM strength yet.

  • Seriously, HOW DID HE PULL THAT OFF?! :(

  • I think he knows what he's doing.

  • shut up and do it better... fag

  • I think he did some sort of mistake at the last drop. He bend his knees almost the whole way down..

Well, we all do mistakes some times. But with those steelknees it doesn't matter if it happens one time.

  • With a drop this huge, it would be incredibly hard and take tooooo much strength to stop your knees from bending the full way.

  • @wirraltraceur

Belle can do it, that's just because he is prepared for it.

  • He's like a steel man =|

Just the way he handle's those drops...

  • Those knees....

  • whats with his knees?

  • i noticed it the first time ...the last landing ...he bends his knees all over ... =O

  • ohh i just want t cuz its "cool" i gues lmao it feels good to be able to do sumthing david belle can do dont u think

  • hey noxteryn do u practice parkour?

  • Yes, I do.

    :)

  • i just like that jump i dont know why

  • hey umm ive been starting to have this pain in my knees wenever i bend them i always hear these weird grinding noises and they always click and make noise it doesnt hurt but i just want to ask you if you know wut it mite be or if youve had any pain like that

  • you probably did something to big, that you weren't properly conditioned or trained for yet.

  • Yeah... in fact, for Parkour, you need that your first year of training been: 80% physyc 20% technic. Do you did something like that...

  • ase700 you might have jumpers knee which is what i have at the moment.

  • @noxteryn paparia parkour proponeis malaka

  • btw if its 3 to 4 meters whichis far i bet i can make that jump but after a bit more training cuz i can already jump pretty decently n a flat surface

  • Why do you want to make that specific jump?

There are millions of other jumps like that all over the world.

  • ohh howd u find that

  • Google Earth.

    ;)

  • umm the jump isnt as far as this movie makes it look if uve seen a real close up camera footage of the manpower gap with n o special camera "angles" u will see wut i mean its not as far as it looks i swear

  • The distance is about 3 to 4 meters.

  • amazing ...i think i´ve also done something like that in 6th grade ...i jumeped out of a window fall on the ground and didn´t fell my legs anymore ...then i stood up and went back into my class...or seomething like that ....but wtf this is amazing ..i think he didn´t show that he has hurted

  • Of course he was not hurt. He had be training for that sort of thing for about 10 years before attempting it. It's called "Parkour". Look it up if you're interested.

    :)

  • 18 years now...

  • holy heaven, this guy's legs are totally made of rubber! that would explain the 7 meter drops...

  • i would like if somebody would make behind the scenes and find out the hight of the last jump

  • just thinking to do a landing like this in the end ..... my ankle is going to bugger(destroy) itself ... u know!? //crashhhh *amazing vid *A

  • The end landing is amazing!

  • wtf at the end lol

  • christ, how can his knees take it?!

he doesnt even compress the landing, his legs are compressed all the way down D:

  • Yeah....but maybe that´s because he invented the sport ? :-DDD

  • Belle ohuenqj 4el!

  • cuanta distancia y altura hay?

  • his legs must be like super rubber bands, mcboing boing.

    he is god.

  • His landing in the end is amazing. Takes years of trainig to get to that level
