  • What could I take, I am lactose intolerance so I can't have whey protein

  • @Dichoso816

Whey protein isolate has all the lactose and fat filtered out, so you should still be able to consume that. But there are lots of other protein powders available as well. Egg protein and beef protein are 2 other options that contain zero lactose.

  • Jack3d is actually not a nitric oxide based supplement, ofcause it still contains L-Arginine and other nitric oxide "increasing" amino acids. Jacked is mostly founded on it's 1,3- dimethylamylamine. Buttom line more a stumulant than a nitric oxide product. Just to make your VERY nice work even better! Thanks for your videos! Further more, remember that Xtend contains other amino acids than the BC aminos. Glutamine and Citroline.

  • Hi Lee, I have a question about protein, can we consume always. Or should we stop like creatine and NO2 after 12weeks consuming?

  • @Cyb3rShoy

I use these basic supplements year round.

  • Lee, what kind or better yet what brand of caffeine and ephedrine pills do you use?? thanks in advance

  • @albertotri01

If you go to my main website leehayward*com/ephedrine*htm you'll see the ones I use personally.

  • Hey Lee, thanks for all those usefull videos! I wanted to ask you a question, how many grams of BCAA do you sip durring your intra-workout? And do you take more pre and post-workout? I sip 10g in my intra, and no pre/post-workout. Also, do you find Glutamine to be usefull? If so, how much and WHEN should i consume it? I put 5g in my protein shake, 30 min after my workout and pwo shake. thanks in advance!

  • @Trajiq187

I usually strive to get between 10-15 grams of BCAA's during my workouts. You can also add some to your post workout shake as well if you like. As for glutamine it's a nice addition to a post workout shake as well. But it's not absolutely necessary as whey protein is naturally high in glutamine.

  • Hey Lee, I got a question:

Aren't you getting better value for your money but purchasing something like N.O Xplode rather than creatine mono since there is already creatine in the product? Wont you be getting not only the creatine but all the other benefits as well?

  • @eli90ch

Creatine is so cheap to buy (it works out to like 10 cents a day to use) that I prefer to take extra Creatine Monohydrate in addition to the little bit that's found in pre-workout drinks.

  • CHEERS LEE, you really do look amazing, can you tell me, if i got a hoover and shoved it up my arsehole, would it suck all the fat out ?

  • @reflexzor2142

There's only one way to find out...

  • Thanks lee, really appreciate your honesty on this videos, tahnks for beign real man!

  • @leemhayward Thanks for the answer and the fast response ! :] Which one would you use though? Like if you really needed to get cut?

  • @jerry809

To see what supplements I use and recommend watch all 5 parts of my "Bodybuilding Supplements Guide" videos.

  • @leemhayward Hey what do you think of Animal Cuts? or would you rather get CLA+L-Carnitine...? Thanks :]

  • @jerry809

I personally don't use either one... so that's my answer :-)

  • No whey protein?

  • K thx man

  • So if u said that preworkout drinks are safe, are they safe for teens because I'm 17 and I'm wondering if any of them will stunt my growth

  • @nishiftw

Height is determined by genetics, most guys are going to grow to be as tall as their father regardless if they workout or not or if they take supplements or not. The only thing that will probably stunt your growth is being malnourished, but that's very unlikely in this day and age. Most people are over eating rather than under eating :-)

  • Did u notice any weight loss from xtend

  • @pac818k

No, it's not really a weight loss supplement per say.

  • Hi Lee, I have coffee intolerance. What I say, take Noxplode, Gasperi super pump 250, etc. ... after I get problems ...? Also many say, when taking caffeine, it becomes small penis. True or false.

    Thank you.

  • Canada cheapest supplement site i've found is Vitamart.ca If you're a first-time buyer use coupon code 10DISCOUNT and get 10$ any order over 49$ and also free shipping! Enjoy!

  • soo how do u take ur creatine and protien? like just mix them together after a workout or take one then mix another??

  • soo how do u take ur creatine and protien? like just mix them together after a workout or take one then mix another??

  • i just got Assault, and i want to know, How i should take this supplement so i don't get side effects.

  • @JinNey6

Just follow the directions on the bottle.

  • Hi Lee!! i am planning to get ''WEIDER L-Carnitine 1000'' is it safe? and does it work if i keep lifting and doing cardio?

  • @IbanezGio122

I personally don't use L-Carnitine, but it is a safe supplement if you want to try it.

  • I've been using SuperPump 250 (which you show in the video) for a while now but just looked at the ingredients and it doesn't have Beta-Alanine, hmm?

Would you recommend adding that in separately?

Maybe finding another product that has both arginine and beta-alanine?

  • @rgaufman

You can get beta-alanine seperately and add in a little to your pre and post workout shakes if you like.

  • hey lee should i take monster amino during or after my workouts just wondering

  • @jdizzog1

You can take amino acids before, during, and after your workouts. A lot of guys (myself included) will mix up a large water bottle with amino acids and sip it throughout the workout.

  • @leemhayward thanks

  • is taking pre-workout supplement at a age 16 safe? or not?

  • @JinNey6yes but it all depends on your bodyweight and the dosage if its high but u have a big body then its most likley fine just dont over do

  • @jdizzog1 well, i'm 5'6'' tall and 140lbs. Should i use it? i'm thinking to take the Muscle Pharm Assault or just take the Optimum Nutrition Creatine Powder just to be safe.... what should i do?

  • @JinNey6 then it will be fine you can take musclepharm assault if you want a pump the creatine will just make you get more energy and build muscle over a period of time

  • @JinNey6

These supplements are safe, but from a practical point of view make sure you have your workout and nutrition program in check 100% first before worrying about supplements.

  • is jack3d good for me? i take it but ive been hearing some things

  • nice video, i have a question, can i mix Jacked+Xtend+1 scoop whey as PWO shake ?

and also can i sip Xtend throughout the day between meals as some people recommend ? i wanna cut down fat, and replace Xtend with some of my meals.

  • @wetrunway

    I wouldn't have that...

Take the Jack 3d before your workouts, Xtend during your workouts, and the whey protein after your workouts.

  • @leemhayward Hi, im just curious about your thoughts on BCAA's. Are they worth it in your opinion and if so, what do you personally think is the best BCAA supplemen? Im not asking for a definite answer, just your personal opinion.

  • I want to recover faster from my injuries. Since NO increases blood flow, can I supplement with it to help heal my injuries faster?

  • ive tried a few different NO2 products and i agree that they are all safe... the currnet one i am on however, 1MR is quite strong so i wouldn't advise first-timers to get straight on that unless you are a beast =P

  • shouldnt you take the ephedrine and caffeine 3x a day

  • Thanks man. Good vid.

  • Hey Lee, what about buying beta alanine and arginine separately instead of those «cocktails» like NO xplode? would that be good? and what about the dosage? only pre-workout or split during the day?

  • @Paparmane

You can take 2-3 grams of pure beta alanine (approx. 1/2 teaspoonful) before your training.

  • arginine is a scam. most people know that by now but it still needs to be reinforced.

There are few real products that boost n.o, not to mention n.o in itself is questionable on it's supposed ergogenic effects.

  • BCAA!?!?, WHAT!?!? THK You 4 The Help & The Answers. :-D Keep Up The Good Work.

  • sow if agrinie work like natural viagra sow did you saw any growth in your men tool?

  • @TheNoobaki

Actually it can help with that as well. Some companies sell it as a natural alternative to Viagra :-)

  • 2:43 LOOLLL yeah most of us won't complain right Lee ;)

  • i use xtend aswell. its good price and i feel it reduces rest time and that small pain you get when stretching the dat after heavy exercise.

  • Any advise on Animal Nitro - Universal Nutrition? it's got BCAA as well.

  • I noticed you haven't mentioned CLA for fat loss (conjugated linoleic acid)... any info or advice? I usually buy the allmax brand gelcaps. the label says it aids in weight loss, improves lean body composition and reduces hunger (eat with meals). Meanwhile the healthstore salesman tries to sell it as a fat blocker...

  • Comment removed

  • I've read that you should take Casien protein before bed because it's a slower acting protein and is good for the recovery process while you sleep. Have you heard anything like that?

  • Comment removed

  • not they are not safe for long periods of time they are hard on you liver

  • i tryed hemo rage and n-oexplose and 1mr i find 1mr is best i think

  • What would you take to loose the most wieht, considering fat burners like hydroxycut??

  • Where did you buy the ephedrine isn't it illegal

  • @chbrun34

Ephedrine is legal to buy in Canada.

  • @chbrun34 Its also on alot of Musle Supplement websites

  • lee just to clarify, NO2 is a totally different preworkout drink on top of your creatine right? I do mix my creatine and greens on my pre & post workout protein shake. Im thinking of adding a BCAA drink during the workout. Is it ok to replace my creatine with NO2 altogether or you'd rather have the creatine? I just think its an overkill for me having the creatine and NO2, what's your thoughts? Im on caloric deficit at the moment so everything counts ;)

  • @joan23us

I personally use NO2 supplements AND creatine. And I even keep this up when dieting for fat loss as well to help maintain lean muscle while losing fat.

  • cont ....video you said you were taking them for fat loss. So would you, do you stop taking them when you arent lookin for fat loss or is this something you take all year round. Thanks again. By the way, Zaid had nothing but great things to say about you and helping him with his posing routine. Ur certainly the guy to follow!!

  • @jpretty93

I would save the ephedrine for fat loss. No need to take it when training for size.

  • Hey Lee, I have finally got around to finishing all 5 videos and I have just got to thank you for all the information. You answered so many questions and concerns I have had about these things. Great videos and I am steady mentioning ur name at my gym telling people this is where I learned this new thing and to check him out. I usually never leave a comment lol, but I figured I should this time around. I was wondering also if you could tell me with those last 3 pills you mention in this....cont.

  • iv looked at all of your videos and i have to say you know ALOT to everyone watching this listen to this guy he knows what hes talking about. im only 17 but i do alot of research and im fit and well built. iv been doing everything your doing in these videos for about a year. people if you follow his instructions perfectly you will see amazing results.. no only in muscle building but in your self-esteem, metabolism, and pretty much your daily life.. these videos are loaded with great information!

  • @bobsoncrack

Cool, thanks for the feedback. Glad you like the videos!

  • With the Xtend being at a high price or higher price, is there anything you or anyone else recommend that is the same or would work also?

  • @decafcoffee73

All good BCAA supplements are pricey. A cheaper alternative would be to have a protein shake before going to the gym. It's not exactly the same as a pure BCAA supplement, but it would still provide amino acids to your working muscles for a lot less money.

  • I really liked the first 4 vdo's, but I dont approve taking so many chemicals. The other day I took my friend to a Golds Gym bench press event. My friend is into martial arts since 7 years, his pre workout meditation and discipline worked far better than my 2 scoops of NO.....He stood overall 3rd with a 380 pound lift in his category...and I was 7th....and this guy has Never been to Gym before....bottomline....mental training works better and long term, rather than manufactured concoctions.

  • What do you think about the Animal paks?

  • hey lee..

i have a question.. im currently taking my protein as normal and a no2 supplement as a pre workout drink and training hard and seeing some good results however, i was wondering if it was now a good time to stack this with a intra-workout drink like xtend and posssibly a creatine supplement , and also maybe to use a fat burner with my cardio to keep lean??.. thanks .. keep up the good work

  • Great videos as always Lee,

Regarding the NO2's its mentioned in the video they are "OK to use up to 12 weeks at a time," does this mean after 12 weeks of use a person should stop using NO2?

Thanks, and Goodluck in Las Vegas!

  • @exSoldeur

No, it just means that there haven't been any studies done for longer then 12 weeks. I've been personally using NO2 supplements for several months on end as part of my pre-workout routine.

  • thx lee

  • you going to Mr.Olympia?!?!?! I hate you.....

  • PREWORK OUT BEFORE SEX!

  • hey LEE i bought NO shotgun because it was on sale but i havent taken it yet do u have an opinion about the product?

  • Hey Lee, I was just wondering what are your thoughts on your friend Vincent Del Monte who says that most supplement aren't good and that the only thing useful is whey protein isolate powder. I know everyone has their own opinion but I just wanted to know what you think about that. Thank you!

  • hey lee would you recomend anything for joint health and cartilage reconstruction?

  • excellent stuff dude

  • Good info on all your vids man, really helpful. Wondering what you take is on Pro-hormones? ive been checking them out lately. But im on the fence of wether they are safe or if they are even effective as they say they are.

    Thx for the vids bro.

  • Should i take Glutamine?

  • @kingofriou88 if you consider yourself advanced and your nutrition is almost flawless. Then deff yes Glutamine helps and even relieves stress and helps with memory imo.

  • how about coffee before workout?

  • Hey lee, first of all, thanks for all this great info. But I think you should cover HGH (Human Growth Hormone) next in your supplement videos. Well really it's a supplement I would like to hear your word from, because I soon am going to take HGH from Nutropin AQ Nuspin 20. So what do you think about this? Will this help with my body building, how do you think this will help? Anyways thanks a bunch lee. Hope to hear from you soon.

  • Very good explanation. Thanks!

  • how do you stack caffine and ephedrine?

  • @davergaver

200 mg of caffeine, 24 mg of ephedrine (Note: they come in 8mg tabs), and 200 mg of green tea extract. Take this before your cardio and weight training workouts to maximize fat loss.

  • @leemhayward I was under the impression that it was unsafe to take an E/C stack before a cardio session because the heart rate might rise too high and lead to problems? Can you confirm or deny please!

  • Lee, thanks again for another great video. I'm wondering though, how exactly do you personally train for fat loss? I know cardio has to be increased and maybe calorie restrictions? What's your personal philosophy on this?

  • @draully

It's too much to cover in a YouTube comment, but I cover my entire fat loss program in my Extreme Fat Loss DVD which is available right on my website LeeHayward [dot] com

  • Lee, thanks again for another great supplement review guide. I'm no expert when it comes to supplements, but I got to say, I really think most of those pre-workout drinks put tremendous stress on your kidneys and liver. After all, all those "proprietary blends" are composed of chemicals and synthetics that I'm sure our bodies have to work extra-hard to process. I notice that when I take those pre-workout drinks consistently, I tend to get bags under my eyes which is an...

  • i take the cheap walmart mass gaining protein for muscle gaining. its like 620 calories with 48 grams of protein per scoop, but it's like 80 grams of sugar. that's ok right? i take only 2 scoops of this stuff with 2% milk after my workouts, is that ok too? or do you recommend to take 4 full scoops for gain?

  • @tnt905 im pretty sure its just banned in the states and if not i know its highly regulated due to its cousin pseudo-ephedrine which is used to make methamphetamines but yeah, you cant buy huge amounts anymore its only a limit to one bottle per customer 8mg tabs and 50 of them for 15 bucks

  • lee i am taking this new supplement called Muscle stack PFN from Red Bak....It say that it is an anabolic growth hormone accelerator the taste of it isn't that good and plus it's got alot of Carbs in it aswell which i m concerned about i m training for muscle and weight gain right now n i have gained about 4kg's in 5 weeks......

so my question does this weight gain of mine include more fat than muscle??

I m 183cm and weigh 85 kg's and want to goto my limit to see how much i can put in one year.

  • @hbs29

You'll need to keep track of your bodyfat percentage as well as your bodyweight. That's how you'll tell if you are gaining mostly muscle or fat.

  • Good job mate on this 5 part series videos!!! Very Informative to the average joe like me... I was wondering if you can cover videos regarding the "last two weeks" prior to competition/ photoshoot. A detailed information on what's what prior to reaching the " FINISH LINE " i.e. Carb depletion, carb loading, sodium loading etc. in a detailed two weeks day to day including nutrient timing, training frequency and method... THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE....

  • @joan23us

I actually cover all that in great detail in my book and DVD program "Your First Bodybuilding Competition" which is available right on my website.

  • your the best lee!!

  • ive been told by some genuine supplement/nutritional experts, that N.O. supplements are just waste of money

  • @arsenalmanic It depends on the particular supplement in accordance to your goals and supplementation stack.

That said, I've used every mainstream N.O. supp and can attest to the literal, long-term (during on-cycles), noticeable gains N.O. supps can achieve.

My personal favorites include BSN's N.O. Xplode, Gaspari's Superpump 250, and MRI's Black Powder.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated nor sponsored by any of the previously mentioned company brands.

  • @arsenalmanic

Everyone has an opinion and these videos are just my opinion. But obviously not everyone is going to share the same view.

  • I wana try that extend know thanks for the vid Lee.

  • Is it not dangerous for your heart, to be using soo much stimulants e.g NO Explode + Caffeine + Ephedrine ???

  • @dmahon1980 I think it is a lot to use, but if you are a hardcore bodybuilder and there are no tests that show negative side effect and the product helps you then I think you take your chances. I dont, but I´m no competitive bodybuilder - I take protein as my only supplement.

  • @dmahon1980 Remember, you're suppose to stay hydrated while take these supplements.

  • @dmahon1980

Everyone has different tolerance levels, some people get the jitters from a cup of coffee, others can handle more caffeine. The only thing I can say is use your own discretion on this. But for a short term hardcore fat loss phase I find the above combo very effective.

  • Lee ur a beast man

  • thank you so much for your videos man

  • what are you still doing awake Lee it's 1:22 am here in calif. lol go to sleep

  • @zombiekicker actually inmates in prisons eat all day from the food that they buy in the store they are only guaranteed one meal and it is not measured for nutrients??? plus they can't even lift weights in most places now..

  • @zombiekicker

If you watch the video again I specifically say these are "Advanced Bodybuilding Supplements". That means they are not meant for everyone. This video was only made due to numerous requests for my feedback about these products. I'm only giving my followers what they asked for, which is my 2 cents worth. If you don't like it, then I'm sorry.

  • @xtigerstripe

No, still meet your protein intake needs. The BCAA's are extra.

  • Thanks for the video. Hey lee will you be at the olympia in my city las vegas??

  • @Boxer702

Yep, going to the Mr. O in vegas next month, can't wait!

  • Fuck these supps, just eat clean workout hard, save thousands of $ , I wouldnt be surprised if this guys getting paid by these companies

  • @blindmellonchittlen

I don't have any affiliation with any supplement companies what so ever. I made these videos from literally dozens of e-mail and comment requests from my followers.

  • @zombiekicker No shit dude , you hit it on the nose, theres so much money to be made its only common sense , its all bullshit. Extra protein is all you need, maybe a cup of coffe before a workout.

  • Lee, it's worth mentioning to your audience that BSN (makers of N.O. Xplode and Cellmass) is facing a stiff class-action lawsuit for false advertisement (i.e., Muscle Volumizing Creatine Matrix (patent pending) CEM3 (creatine ethyl ester malate) does not exist in the supplement).

What's more, various BSN products, such as N.O. Xplode contains a dangerous pharmaceutical blood thinner similar to coumadin.

  • misc name cuzz? ima rep you lol

  • Cool haircut, Lee!

  • do you feel pumped when you eat no explode and how much protien does it have and cost

  • @Lebron23KING23James

Yes it helps increase blood flow and muscle pumps, but it's not a protein supplement.

  • I am looking for something to assist with fat loss, but i think the cons out weigh the pros with Ephedrine, I could be wrong since I don't have alot of knowledge in the field as you do.

    Ephedrine: hc-sc.gc.ca/ahc-asc/media/advisories-avis/_2008/2008_41-eng.php

  • @xyn3rgy naw dude its perfectly fine. just dont take 200mg a day and you wont be spun out like on meth or something.. take like 20 or so

  • @knewok quick question. i was under the impression that ephedra was banned. I was told this and read that it got banned by the fda around 2005. Now i have since saw it at GNC but thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Can you or lee clarify this.

  • @TNT905

You can still get ephedrine, it's sold as a nasal decongestant.

  • @xyn3rgy

There is a lot of flack in the media about ephedrine, but the rumors don't add up when you investigate the real world results. When used responsibly it's a safe and effective fat burning supplement.

  • Comment removed

  • You're Awesome Dude.

  • u aware brah?

  • @UNDEADMANGUY

    Yes brah, you misc haha

  • great video lee! i take those supps too and they work wonders!

  • OTTAWA - Health Canada is advising consumers not to use any combination of ephedrine and caffeine because of the risk of serious and possibly fatal effects.

Two particular products pose potential health risks, WestPharm Hydro-Lean capsules, and a combination of 4Ever Fit ephedrine and caffeine pills.

Canadians suffering from heart conditions, high blood pressure and diabetes are among those particularly at risk.

  • Quake 10.0 is a wicked pre shake.. its from scivation.. the same brand that make Xtend.. i also have Xtend as a intra workout shake..

u making any more training videos lee.. thannks for the post on me scrambled eggs video man..

  • Great seires, !

  • Nice alternative to the ECA stack, not thought of supplementing the aspirin for green tea before, will give it a try. thanks lee

  • make our own

  • horsepower tastes like shit

  • @alex16guara

I only tired one, can`t remember the name, but yeah i puked instantly LOL

  • @alex16guara

Well I haven't tried shit before so I can't really comment on that, but I agree that Horse Power isn't the most pleasant tasting supplement, but it does work well.

  • @leemhayward LOL

  • @zombiekicker yeah but those inmates don't do anything apart from lift weights & sleep

  • Ive tried majority of them ive found GUN POWDER to be the best

  • come on lee.. dont make them look so good, its so minimal the effects do

  • @zombiekicker Thats what i have been saying for years! Workout hard everyday for an hour a day, rest on the weekends. Have 3 good balanced meals and maybe a snack or two and you will grow! Its not rocket science nor do you need all this BS.. At most a decent multi vitamin and maybe a protein shake but thats about it. These people that are taking all this junk will have all kinds of liver and kidney issues in the years to come. Keep it simple people!

  • @joerez8 @zombiekicker

That would be fine for the average joe wanting to get in shape. Some are more genetically gifted than others and this will suffice. For the rest of us we have to focus more on our diet.

If you really want to see faster results you have to be prepared to eat 5-6 protein meals a day to gain an optimal amount of muscle.

  • YOU HEART IS GOING TO BLOW UP ON THIS SHIT.. THE STIMULANTS, THEY WILL MELT YOUR BRAIN AND DAMAGE YOU HEART..

  • YOU HEART IS GOING TO BLOW UP ON THIS SHIT...

  • jack3d is the best.

  • BONER!!!

  • lee i don't want stiffies at the gym; should i take this?

  • @OnCall101Villa hahadude half the guys do anyways with all the half naked wildcats walkin around.

  • damn ephedrine, green tea, and No Xplode. Idk what kinda high tolerance you have, but for the average individual that'll have ur heart junping out your chest. One or the other should do the avg person good.

  • thanks for these videos, they help a lot. im pretty sure i asked this question on your video comments for the creatine video, but maybe u werent able to respond or something but, would creatine and this supplements you have in this video be alright for someone about 15-16 yrs old? ive done a lot of reading but ive gotten many diferent answers. what would you say about these? thanks!

  • @loverboy10688

The basic supplements I mentioned in my first 4 video are ok for teenagers, but save these ones I mention here for when you are older and more advanced.

  • @leemhayward thanks, i really appreciate it!

  • lee you forgot controlled labs:P

they give you the best bang for buck, and the best quality products

check out white flood and purple wraath(fancy names lol)

white flood pre workout gives you 100servings

  • @sirglenn2k yea but white flood sucks
