I swear the voice acting was different on the version I had... then again I am remembering this from about 15 years ago so who knows how accurate I am. This game was fucking awesome though, loved it.
So, yeah, quite a story...the military can't make it, so they send a single alcoholic...? And Dator 5 didn't see the voraxians until they got close enough to attack? I just don't get this game, but, I still love it.
the military is hilariously incompetent in video games. Just look at Half Life where a single scientist with no combat training can take on half the military by himself
Oh yeah, now that you mention incompetent militaries, the imperial legion comes to mind from Oblivion...Now that was BLEAK! yeah, I definitely see that trend in games.
I have this game here, unplayed, and still sealed! According to the box, it's DOS-compatible; this opens the possibility of using DOSbox or similar, which may be quicker than running W95 through a VM.
